Thank you for bringing this to us on this forum, this is one of the good reasons I posted about this on the gambling board
You can see that this type of scam was mentioned.
If I see this scam, I can easily know, but it is good that you bring it for people to know that the scam is real.
Thank you for your input. What happened was expected, as scammers tend to exploit every major trending global event.
That's why it is important for every member to stay alert and keep their greed in check, so they don't end up trying what these scammers promote and lose their funds with a single click.
Great catch!
If it is too good to be true, it's probably a scam. It was too obvious, the free $400 is already suspicious, couple it with what I assume is a pop-up of "connect your wallet" that won't go away, which is very common on scam websites. Hopefully, no one fell for it.
By the way, here's another spam thread from one of their accounts
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5585966.0Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I have updated my thread with the account you pointed out and have also tagged it and reported the post where the phishing domain was promoted.
I will now submit a report to the domain registrar in an attempt to get the domain taken down and help protect potential victims.

While this may slow down their promotion efforts for a while, they can always return with a new domain. That is why raising awareness among community members remains the most important thing we can do.
