Well I guess we can agree that as far as the World Cup so far is concerned Messi is still the GOAT. Starting the competition with a hat trick and almost scoring another hat trick on the second game. Messi is truly incredible and there’s no argument about that, he’s an exceptional player, but the truth still remains there are other exceptional players too but so far in this competition, Messi has the title of the best.

Being able to score two more after already scoring 3 more is huge. This dude should have been above 20 goals by now if he didn't started hat badly. In 2006 and in 2018, he scored only single goals, if he was capable of playing like he normally does, that should have been at least 4-5 goals there, and that 3-4 goal difference in two cups means 6-8 more goals already, on top of that he will most certainly score more in this one as well.

I think 2014 was fine, 4 goals, that's normal, and last one was 7 goals, which is huge. So I think he could have been 25 goals or so by the end of this if he didn't had problems in that two cups. all the player are performing very well you cannot say only one particular person is player because of how many goals in the house scored in this FIFA World Cup other players are playing very well and the thing is that if you have agreement with your team players in your country you will be on this positive side of doing well or performing well with your team more the situation whereby some of your team hurts you because of your previous award in World Cup you will not be able to perform the way you are performing before so both messi, Christians Ronaldo they're performing well.
