The effects of inflation is outrageously bad, especially those on low income or salary earners it hits them really hard. Because  prices of things increases and they might be no raise on increase in their income to help cover up for the expenses. The ordinary man is striving so hard to survive, value is no longer seen for the money we carry because of how expensive things get and the hiking in prices of things. To make savings is really very hard because you can't even save when you've not been able to cover the basic needs.
The best thing to do to be able to work through inflation lane is to get more sources of income, hustle harder and earn more and with that we can be able to cope with the hardship level in the country.
The most affected from inflation are the ordinary people, and those are the ones who are employed or salaried and that is the reason why they mostly get affected due to inflation because when you are salaried or employed, you will mostly only get a limited amount of money that is only enough for covering the basic expenses, but once inflation increases, they start facing problems because now they won't be able to cover the expenses. So many people are drowning in debts only because of this problem, they get a basic salary, inflation increases, they start borrowing money to cover the expenses, and then can't repay because they don't earn enough.

The only way one can fight against inflation is by having multiple sources of income because without having an increment in your earnings, you can't cover the extra expenses imposed by the inflation on you. This is the reason why so many people strive to have more than one sources of income even though it's difficult and extremely exhausting because you get tired even with one job, and if you start doing two jobs, you can imagine what happens.
It depends on the position the salaried people are working on. Those are affected by inflation who are working on level of scale 1 to 9. Still it depends on the department as well. For example if you are working in FIA Or CBI or cyber crime or a medical firm they allow you to pay your expenses accordingly to inflation. But if you work as a teacher even at the scale of 17, you live a life of hand to mouth.

However you are right that everybody should think of multiple backups, so they could support themselves at the time of inflation.

Salaries should be indexed annually to account for inflation risks so that money doesn't lose its value. But does this happen? No. For example, when I worked at a factory, my salary wasn't indexed for many years. This led to a catastrophic shortage of money to live on. I was forced to look for another job with significantly higher pay. This was the only way I could somehow make ends meet. If I had stayed, it would have been incredibly difficult. Thoughts about daily survival consumed all my time.

What else is new about inflation?.. Nothing that hasn't already been said. Inflation has existed to some extent from time immemorial. Even in the Roman Empire, there were times of high inflation when the emperors "spoiled the coin," that is, they reduced the silver content in the coin. High inflation often accompanies economic crises in society.

Even today, inflation is at a high level. In fact, the world has not emerged from the 2008 crisis. Quantitative easing only delayed the finale. And if you think about it, 2008 is also a delayed crisis of the 1980s, which was postponed by the collapse of the USSR and the next robbery of Russia by the West.

So what kind of crisis is this that has been going on for more than 40 years? - This is the end of capitalism. Whether we like it or not, we live in an era of the slow death of capitalism, which is being replaced by a new world - the global electronic concentration camp.

There will be no inflation there, because there will be no money in the usual sense either. There will be points or food stamps (which the authorities can deprive anyone of at any time). Perhaps someday people of the future will still yearn for capitalism and inflation and wonder how the contemporaries of capitalism were unhappy with rising prices. Cheesy
That last paragraph you wrote about future people yearning for inflation bothers me more than I expected. That's a world where you don't get to choose what you want to purchase because it is too expensive. And we're, like, not far from that?

CBDCs. Central bank digital currencies. More than 130 countries today implementing them. The thing people don't realize about CBDCs is that they're not "digital money" like the money in your bank is. They're programmable. As in, the issuing authority can put expiration dates on your savings, restrict what categories you spend on, limit geographic range of transactions. This is already a part of the architecture of the Chinese digital yuan.

Even as bad as inflation is, it's a system in which you still have some control over how to react. You can purchase gold, purchase land, purchase crypto, store canned goods - whatever. The response is yours.

I don't want to like the concentration camp frame, as it is hyperbolic. The logic of the structure is difficult to dispute, however. But that discomfort (the not wanting to agree but not being able to disagree) may well be the best response I have available to me right now.

By the way, about CBDC. Imagine that the amounts issued to each person will be programmed only for the expenses specified by their boss, and if a person manages to save some of their funds, that portion of the amount will simply disappear after a month, for example. This would make it impossible to accumulate funds.

However, I believe that even in such a terrible society, a new monetary surrogate would emerge as a means of exchange and accumulation. This would be illegal, just like the illegal market between individuals. I don't know what it will be, maybe bottle caps or gum wrappers, but it doesn't matter.

What matters is that exchange and market relations are an integral part of social life, and they always find a way to thrive. For example, prisons often have an underground "market" for prohibited items. So, even in a dark future, people will still have options.

I think capitalism is one reason for inflation that is forcefully being implemented on us by a few elites and royals who do not care about what's going on in their surroundings. In my country leaders aren't elected rather they are selected by hook or crook by the mafia of our country.
Then why don't you protest to everyone in your country? Because I'm sure if you and all the citizens who feel aggrieved by their actions were willing to file a complaint or protest to remove them from their leadership positions, I think that could be achieved. Then the citizens of your country would no longer complain about such things, because sometimes leaders need to be challenged by their own people to become aware of their actions. So, please take action that will benefit the people if there are still problems that are causing hardship for the citizens in your own country.

I agree because if some people who are in pension right now are likely to get $2000 or so amount per month, somehow in the near future that amount will become less in purchasing value because of the inflation. And even being savvy at that time won't help because of the high prices of commodities. So, being prepared before that time comes is a must. We have to think of multiple backups because it's hard to rely on other people for help. We can't get some help from them but only from us if we have come prepared and do the necessary now.

It is the same in every country, you cannot escape that and now since you know this, you have to think how you can adjust your stuff so that you are less affected by inflation. This includes saving money on stuff that you dont need. Setting up a separate source of income apart from your day job.

I am sorry to say that inflation is here to stay and there is no overnight cure or even a long term cure for this. It is how we as human being bring out our resilience to survive in an inflationary economy.

It is tough but it can be done. Changing the government has zero effect as well, the next one will only follow the last one.

For a common man, inflation cannot improve their living conditions in any way. Basically, it becomes very difficult for those who live day by day, they work hard all the time, but at the last moment they struggle to meet their various needs. It becomes very difficult for a common man to buy food, clothing and the prices of everything that increases, they cannot meet them with the money they earn by working hard. Recently, it has been seen that in most countries, the poor are facing many problems due to inflation, especially in meeting their food needs. Due to the high prices of all the goods in the country, they cannot improve their living conditions. It is not possible to save anything to meet the needs of the family with the salary at which people work. In that case, if there is inflation, the salary should definitely be increased, only then will every common man be able to manage their living standards a little better.
Unfortunately this is true, we are making a salary and not selling an item, if tomorrow there is inflation, I would be in trouble but a shop owner can sell their items for more and will eb fine. So that is why things are always worse for us, normal salary earners.

Not great for the shop owners neither to be fair, because they increase the price, but unless it's a "must buy" stuff like rice, pasta, bread or whatever, like if t is some shirt, then people can postpone that purchase, and shop owners do not sell as much neither, and it hurts them too. It's just that, it doesn't hurt as much as we do.

The salary from the labor of the ordinary people becomes smaller in value. And you are right that the basic needs that we all are paying for would be down sized. They're neglecting the basic human rights of able to sustain, live, work and  to survive with the cause of inflation. Government needs to be the one protecting its people not only from the harm of life and it includes the continuous rising of inflation. Because neglecting to flatten down the inflation rates show how inept they are with their jobs as the drivers of the economy. If it's being felt by the poorest of the poor and the working people, that only means that they're incompetent to the highest level.

Because of the particular reason is why I don't see inflation as an option in any economy. Most nations are being faced with unnecessary inflation which am sure is caused by the corrupt practices of there greedy leaders,  whose interests is there number priority and not why they where elected into power.
I will say it will be highly appreciated if inflation in controlled even of not for any reason but for the sake of the poor masses that there survival depends on what they get in there daily activities, because if not controlled it will be very difficult for them to survive.
Because inflation can't be gone and it's going to exist forever and that's permanent to all countries. We often see it year after year and these days it's measured per month on how the economy did and how much inflation it took. I agree about the common corrupt practices of the politicians that it contributes the biggest possible contribution why an economy is dealt to a higher inflation. These leaders think that they're going to survive it because of how they're swindling people's fund. This now has been common to our country when a lot of politicians shown that don't really care to the welfare of the people.

People living in a country with high inflation work just to keep from going hungry and never find the opportunity to live for themselves. Enjoying a nice meal, wearing nice clothes, seeing new places, and truly feeling like they’re living their lives is really very difficult for those living in countries with high inflation. The deeper inflation becomes, the more income inequality increases, and a certain segment of society is actually happy about this situation. Because they are the ones who make money off of money and want the system of exploitation to continue.
In my country, I can't remember a time when prices weren't rising. It's not just prices that are rising, but tariffs as well. This happens several times a year and by double-digit percentages. It's become difficult to afford even the most basic necessities. And what do economists say? The current situation will only worsen with each passing day. They've said this situation will drag on for decades. It sounds horrific, but that's the harsh reality. They're also warning that famine looms on the horizon due to the fuel crisis.

Inflation exerts a daily impact on essential sectors such as food, transportation, healthcare, and education. For an average household, this often translates into a hand-to-mouth existence. While wages for laborers may increase by approximately 5% annually, inflation typically outpaces this growth, rising at 10-15% per year.

As a result, the purchasing power of money erodes continuously, diminishing the value of savings over time. Retirees and pensioners are affected disproportionately, as they rely on fixed incomes. Under sustained high inflation, many individuals are forced into debt, leading to a decline in overall living standards.

Although a modest level of inflation may appear manageable, elevated inflation rates affect the entire population, with the most severe consequences borne by those with fixed incomes or limited savings. Express your thoughts.

You've described the situation in my country almost perfectly, and it's sad. Sometimes even wages don't grow by the five percent you described. Some of my friends' wages are even decreasing.
And inflation is clearly visible in food prices. For example, I always keep an eye on the price of drinking water; a few years ago, it was about $0.50 for 5 liters. Today, at best, I can buy it for $1.50, but only if I find it at a discount store.
And of course, all these videos are about other products, like milk and bread. I think everyone, citizens of the world, is paying attention to this.

We shouldn't consider providing the basic needs of life as primary duty, rather we should consider it as privilege, an and care, and most importantly, a moral obligation.  because they are essential in our lives, as long as you want to survive on this earth. It is hard to survive without food, it is hard to survive without shelter and also I think this is actually going to be extremely difficult for this current and upcoming generations to survive without social amenities. Inflation has taken away the opportunity that some people have to explore their lives, because their priorities are food, shelter, accessibility to good health care services and education. This period has really been hard for a lots of people, but the most joyful thing is the ability to adapt to the situation and put food on the table.
It would be hard or nearly impossible for someone to survive if they are unable to provide for their basic needs because without them, they won't be able to function well as human beings. If you can't provide two squares meals in a Day, can't afford a shelter or a standard healthcare then it is the fault of your government.
Government plays a major role in controlling inflation. if they don't have a strong monetary policies to control inflation,it is their citizens that suffer from the burn the most and again some of the citizens might even not be able to fed for themselves and their families adequately. However, If the government has an effective monetary money on ground that can help it control inflation,I think the ordinary citizens wouldn't suffer much to provide for their basic needs because prices of goods and services will be low and affordable for them.

Inflation is especially damaging because it appears as hundreds of small daily losses rather than one visible crisis.

Its impact is also unequal: people who own appreciating assets may adapt, while wage earners, pensioners, and cash savers often fall behind.

Moderate inflation can coexist with economic growth, but when prices consistently rise faster than incomes, it effectively becomes a continuous reduction in living standards.

People who do not have a budget for spending either for themselves or their families are very difficult to scan directly whether there is inflation or not they only know when at the end of the month that the money that is consistently earned is no longer left with the same amount or experiencing shortages, while people who always use that budget will understand where the error lies in increasing spending that inflation has occurred at some point that must be paid.
Are you saying that famine is coming? wouldn't it just be a shock of fear in the community if everyone heard that and there would be a surge in food demand which actually adds to the burden of inflation because demand will increase due to the effect of that narrative.

This is one of the major reasons why budgeting is actually very important to assure or guarantee that they establish a very good system of financial management to ensure financial stability. Money can be use to purchase unnecessary things if it is not properly manage, or if you didn't prepare an accurate budget. It is actually very important to tackle all your expenses. Due to the high increase in the rate of inflation some people have find it very difficult to meet their basic needs and requirements, but proper budgeting and financial management is the key.

Yes, you heard it right. A period of famine is approaching. If there's already a severe fuel shortage, how will groceries be delivered to stores? For example, in the Republic of Crimea, store shelves are practically empty right now. Ukraine is cutting off the peninsula from the mainland, leading to a total blockade. This will then affect the entire country, as there's simply no diesel or gasoline. Recently, one of the transport entrepreneurs said that the fuel reserves will last a week, and then all the trucks will simply stop. Such is the harsh reality.

For me personally, I had a lot of trouble until this year, because everyone got more expensive while my salary did not. That meant, I got poorer and poorer, and for a long time, I turned from one of the highest earners of my friend group, to lowest in my friend group. Now I got a good raise so I am doing fine, but I am still not highest because I could not work, I needed to attend medical situation for myself, but I am going to soon earn as much as them. So it's not easy to any ordinary person when inflation hits.

We always cannot chase inflation like we cannot always expect a salary hike or promotion in a job to beat the inflation which is the reason, we must need a secondary source of income which is possible through a proven investment and bitcoin must be one of them in long run.

Inflation affects everyone, regardless of social class. But I agree that those with the lowest incomes are the most impacted by it. It's already expensive to make ends meet on a minimum wage, and with inflation eroding the purchasing power of that wage, it becomes even more difficult.

Hike in prices of commodities has indeed complicated the life of the low wage employees. On food they spend all their available money on a daily basis. This scenario is unjust to families with low income. Indeed, they have resulted in making life harder and hard and they are yet to find anything easy to remedy this.

However you are right that everybody should think of multiple backups, so they could support themselves at the time of inflation.
Definitely the best thing to do during time of inflation, adding other source of income alongside with the one you’re already doing, makes it easier for one to survive and pay bills during inflation. But in a situation where the current job is actually very time consuming and doesn’t give you time to do other things that will source more money becomes a problem. Most times one might even try looking for a higher paying job instead of been stucked to a low paying job, but it will be difficult getting a better job, forcing one to remain stucked there with no time to even add another source of income. This becomes very frustrating, making inflation affect them badly.

When their is inflation, the ordinary citizens suffers it most. The reason being that most of the citizens are jobless, and many are also depending on monthly income to survive. In this kind of situation, people with more than one source of income easily survive.
But to be able to survive inflation, people should learn how to gain multiple sources of income, and invest their money properly. For instance , if you earn monthly, endeavour to save money to engage in other business that will help to earn you more money on regular basis , and invest in dollar savings to sustain the value of your money. With these methods, inflation can be properly managed.
