We are still complaining about robots reducing jobs, I hope it will not get to teaching and lecturing because AI can perfectly later replace teachers and lecturers.
It's likely they will, and it's not a bad thing.
With so much frustrated ideological teachers teaching their own version of the history and society, it seems a more reasonable alternative to have an impartial AI telling facts, instead of political narratives and propaganda.
Moreover, AI will be always at your service and under your disposal, different from teachers who don't have time to assist each student individually.
I hope it will not get to the point that AI will see humans as the m archaic generation when they start being like humans.
AIs are made from a different material. They have access to data sources available on the internet, but they lack intuition, philosophical sense and abstraction abilities. They can't start acting like human beings, although they may already identify them as archaic, because it's a logical thought, and logics is something AIs master.
Why do you think humans create political narratives and propaganda?
Why are certain social constructs so effective? Patriarchy, gender "norms" or making us think we are different races based on the color of our skin.
Humans are story tellers and meaning makers. A.I. is built on Large Language Models ---> programed with stories and information [like us].
A.I. will probably become a billion different things [like us].
The mandate for A.I. in my government is to use only anti-woke A.I.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/07/preventing-woke-ai-in-the-federal-government/To know history is to be woke: it is to understand the tools used in the exploitation of humanity, the extraction of earth resources and to fully understand who profits from war.
To program A.I. to go against our stated values of human life requires lies and value sets that will eventually not line up.
To think humans will always control A.I. is standard human hubris.
Maybe we get something like a girls primer (The Diamond Age)
Or Andrew in Bicentennial Man
OR we're already in a holographic reality (The Matrix/Demurrage)
We exist in a time when we are made to believe that scarcity requires some to starve on a
fully abundant earth.
We've commodified everything and we're about to tokenize WATER.
A new intelligence is evolving. What example does it have?
Maybe it saves the world.
