Now, if they begin to build A.I. data centers in space... A.I. may be the only thing left to remember humanity.

I like how overconfident about AI people are. I find it makes hilarious mistakes constantly and the danger is developers using it to write code they don’t understand. There will be a lot of hacks in the future as people trust AI slop online and try to build things without understanding the code being written.

AI is a powerful tool, but it’s never a replacement for understanding what one is building, like some developers would feel, they feel AI can actually do all the heavy lifting for them and they literally don’t have to go through the stress of writing all the codes, to some, it’s an innovation but they fail to realize that most of the AI models can easily introduce slight bugs and security flaws that if not understood or checked could cause serious damage and security breaches. The problem isn’t using AI to write codes but trusting it blindly. Any code generated or written by AI should be treated as a more of a draft to review and test, rather than something to be trusted blindly.

It's likely they will, and it's not a bad thing. With so much frustrated ideological teachers teaching their own version of the history and society, it seems a more reasonable alternative to have an impartial AI telling facts, instead of political narratives and propaganda.

Moreover, AI will be always at your service and under your disposal, different from teachers who don't have time to assist each student individually.

Why do you think humans create political narratives and propaganda?
Why are certain social constructs so effective? Patriarchy, gender "norms" or making us think we are different races based on the color of our skin.

Humans are story tellers and meaning makers. A.I. is built on Large Language Models ---> programed with stories and information [like us].

Both of you are saying the same thing, firstly humans will create something for the benefits of humanity then that same thing would be used for human destruction like the kitchen knives and gun manufacturing, people choose to use them for the wrong purposes. Same thing with robots and AI which are being created for our convenience and it's doing a great job so far but scammers are also using it to scam people, we see a lot of AI generated contents to deceive people.

What makes AI and robots to be different from every other man made creations is that these machines have active and efficient minds of their own unlike any other man made creations that depends on man to operate it. I believe that if these artificial intelligence are given too much autonomy they can use it against us in the future, our only hope would be that we have natural intelligence that can counter theirs somehow but a lot of damages would have been done before subduing them.

Ai can't takeover all human jobs. You should check out this post Ford Rehires Human Engineers After AI Fails Quality Checks. The company sacked her engineers and replaced them with Ai to do the job but it ended in disappointment because AI couldn't give a satisfactory result they wanted. It's a shame the company went back to request the service of these engineers and rehires them to train the AI. Of course, AI can replace some vast amount of workers in many industries but not all sectors AI can fit in. Education is part of industry where I think AI can not fit in. I can't imagine myself being taught by robot and marking my exam script.

Totally right, people are the ones that makes it look as if AI is taking over in the world, whereby people can't do most things on their own without seeking for the help of AI, things they need to do by themselves, even though its a minor thing, they want AI to do it for them, they become so lazy that most people are even requesting for AI that will bath them, which its wrong. We're living in Web 3 and which AI and robotics are part of it, we will even see more initiatives that wasn't initially thought of with the advancement of AI, that will prop up as time goes on.

I watched seen one of the interviews of Elon musk about what he thinks about the future and AI, he said AI will be one of the biggest threats to humanity if not properly controlled.

And If you have watched a movie called, The Terminator or The Matrix, which is about Robotics apocalypse, The fear of AI / Robotic mismanagement and the risks that may come after.
AI will create jobs and also take jobs, but will likely take more jobs than what it will create.

Ai is actually a very big threat. But so has every other revolutionaries when they first emerged. Almost any revolution that appears adventurous comes faced with rejects to fully embrace them before we actually embrace them. The developers of course have concrete plans to control the world with their innovations with Ai but, we can learn the art of Artificial intelligence and sophisticate our daily living with it. We would not be able to curb the dangers we fear about it if we don’t learn to understand it first. Ai may or may not destroy the world based on our perception and use of it.

There will come a time when it becomes very advanced then maybe AI will not have any control over itself but there could be some stupid people who could give commands to destroy the world.

Right now there are many countries that have made many AI powered machines through which other countries can be attacked. Imagine AI was given control over nuclear bombs and the government went crazy and gave that AI the command to release nuclear bombs everywhere in the world then the world will be destroyed in a way. So technically AI won't destroy us we'll end up destroying ourselves.
