BLOCK ZERO (BLOZ)
A second chance at Genesis.

RandomX CPU Mining | Fair Launch | No Premine | No Presale | Bitcoin Core Based

Back to the feeling of the beginning

There was a time when mining did not belong to warehouses.

No ASIC farms.
No venture capital rounds.
No private sale allocations.
No insider supply.
No complicated token launch mechanics.

Just a computer, a wallet, a node, Proof of Work, and the feeling that anyone could join from the beginning.

That early Bitcoin era is gone.

Today, Bitcoin mining is industrial. Most new coins launch with presales, insider allocations, premines, venture capital rounds, or complex token economics before normal users even get a chance to participate.

Block Zero was created around one idea:

What if people could experience that early mining feeling again?

Not by copying Bitcoin.
Not by pretending to be Bitcoin.
But by starting a new independent Proof-of-Work chain, with modern Bitcoin Core code and CPU-friendly mining.

Block Zero uses RandomX instead of SHA-256, so normal CPUs can participate again.

The goal is simple:

Run a node. Mine with a normal PC. Join from the beginning.

What is Block Zero?

Block Zero is a new independent Layer 1 Proof-of-Work blockchain.

It is based on modern Bitcoin Core code, but replaces ASIC-focused SHA-256 mining with RandomX CPU mining.

Block Zero is not Bitcoin.
It is not a token on another chain.
It is a fresh blockchain with its own genesis block, own network, own rules, and own coin: BLOZ.

The project is built for people who still believe Proof of Work should be open to regular users, not only industrial miners.

Core Principles

[]Fair launch from block 1
[]No premine
[]No presale
[]No VC allocation
[]No insider supply
[]CPU mineable with RandomX

[UPDATE — June 2026] Network hashrate crosses 2 MH/s · Two pools live
Block Zero mainnet keeps growing. CPU miners are showing up — and the network just set a new hashrate record.
────────────────────────────────────
For the first time since launch, total network hashrate climbed above 2 MH/s. That is still early-stage by any large-coin standard — but for a fair-launch RandomX chain barely two weeks old, it is a meaningful signal: real CPUs, real work, no warehouse required.

https://i.ibb.co/dwtrgn9D/image2.png

Screenshot: network hashrate above 2 MH/s — a new record for Block Zero mainnet.
────────────────────────────────────

Where to mine
At least two pools are currently serving BLOZ miners on mainnet.
The official pool at pool.bloz.org runs PPLNS with 0% fee — no registration, no account. Point XMRig at pool.bloz.org:3334 with your bz1 address and a rig name. One-line install for Windows, Linux and macOS is on the pool page itself.

A second public option is rplant.xyz — an independent multi-coin pool that listed Block Zero under the randomzero algorithm. PROP mode, 1% pool fee. Connect strings and worker setup are on the pool site under Block Zero (blockzero / BLOZ).

Code:
Official pool (recommended):
https://pool.bloz.org
Stratum: pool.bloz.org:3334
Algorithm: rx/blockzero (XMRig)

Community pool:
https://rplant.xyz/#blockzero
Algorithm: randomzero — see Connect tab on site

────────────────────────────────────

Quick start — official pool

Code:

Windows (PowerShell as Admin):
$env:ADDRESS='bz1qYOURADDRESS'; irm https://pool.bloz.org/install.ps1 | iex

Linux / macOS:
curl -fsSL https://pool.bloz.org/install.sh | sudo ADDRESS=bz1qYOURADDRESS bash

Wallet: https[Suspicious link removed]mre/blockzero-core/releases/latest

Mining guide: https[Suspicious link removed]mre/blockzero-docs/blob/main/how-to-mine.md

────────────────────────────────────

Network snapshot
Mainnet live since 06 Jun 2026, 06:06:06 UTC. Block height now above 2,700. RandomX CPU mining only — no ASIC, no GPU edge. Explorer at explorer.bloz.org shows blocks and difficulty in real time.
Solo mining remains fully supported for anyone running a synced node. Pool mining is the practical path for most home CPUs.

────────────────────────────────────

Links
bloz.org · pool.bloz.org · explorer.bloz.org · bridge.bloz.org · Discord https://discord.gg/FbJzrwAU2W

Use only official *.bloz.org domains and GitHub releases from Rexemre/blockzero-core. Third-party pools like rplant.xyz are community infrastructure — always verify the payout address and connect URL on the pool site before mining.

Block Zero Community Builders Wanted

Block Zero is still very early, and this is one of the best moments to build.

BLOZ already has active miners, multiple pools, an explorer, a bridge, growing network hashpower, and an early community. But Block Zero should not only be mined. It should also be built by the community.

We want to invite developers, pool operators, tool builders, bot developers, writers, designers, and community members to help grow the BLOZ ecosystem.

Useful contributions can include:

  • Real use cases for BLOZ
  • Mining tools
  • Pool dashboards
  • Telegram or Discord bots
  • Wallet improvements
  • Guides and tutorials
  • Stats pages
  • Block explorer improvements
  • Community apps
  • Infrastructure tools
  • Anything useful for miners, users, pools, or the wider ecosystem

Dev & Growth Fund Rewards

Good community contributions can receive rewards from the Block Zero Dev & Growth Fund.

The fund exists to support development, infrastructure, tools, growth, listings, maintenance, and builders who help move BLOZ forward.

This does not mean every idea automatically gets rewarded. But serious, useful, and transparent work that helps the project can be supported.

If you want to build something for BLOZ, feel free to share your idea, show your progress, or contact the community.

Block Zero is still at the beginning.

Mine it. Build it. Improve it.

A second chance at Genesis.

Block Zero Status Update — More Than 5,500 Blocks Mined

Stable Mainnet · Growing Chainwork · Working Infrastructure · Early Price Discovery

Block Zero has now been running for more than five weeks.

The mainnet launched at one precisely defined moment:

06.06.2026 — 06:06:06 UTC

Genesis hash:

Code:
44c1a8c852b3eda21966e1ddb6b0807e22488dffe8a270bf24bf1fa2d66c13bd

There was no hidden mining period, no premine and no private head start. The genesis timestamp was the public starting point, and everyone began from the same block.

Since then, the chain has continued to grow block by block.

Every additional block increases the accumulated Proof-of-Work, extends the immutable chain history and makes reversing older transactions progressively more difficult.

Network Snapshot — 15 July 2026

Code:
Mainnet launch:          06.06.2026 06:06:06 UTC
Current block height:    5,515
Blocks mined:            More than 5,500
Issued supply:           Approximately 275,710 BLOZ
Maximum supply:          21,000,000 BLOZ
Supply issued:           Approximately 1.31%

Proof-of-Work:           RandomX
Mining hardware:         Ordinary CPUs
Target block time:       10 minutes
Difficulty adjustment:  Every 72 blocks (~12 hours)
Current difficulty:      Approximately 0.035
Block reward:            50 BLOZ
Coinbase maturity:       100 blocks
First halving:           Block 210,000
Expected first halving:  Approximately June 2030

Current 7-day hashrate:  Approximately 434 KH/s
Observed early range:    Approximately 200–6,000 KH/s
Explorer-node peers:     25 connected peers

Node software:           Bitcoin Core v31
Protocol version:        70016
Chain status:            Fully synchronized
Blockchain data size:    Approximately 7.5 MB

The hashrate has naturally fluctuated during the first weeks of the network.

We have observed periods around 200 KH/s as well as peaks above 6,000 KH/s — equivalent to more than 6 MH/s of RandomX CPU power.

These movements reflect miners joining, testing profitability, changing pools and moving hardware between RandomX networks.

The important point is that Block Zero continued producing blocks and automatically adjusting its mining difficulty throughout these changes.

The current seven-day network average is approximately 434 KH/s.

Because the difficulty is adjusted every 72 blocks, the network can react much faster to changing hashrate than a traditional 2,016-block Bitcoin adjustment period.

Wallet and Mining Software Status

The current public release is:

Block Zero v1.0.0-rc35

This release introduced an opt-in Mining tab directly inside the graphical wallet.

Windows users can now:

  • Download one installer
  • Install the Block Zero wallet with a double click
  • Create their own native BLOZ address
  • Open the integrated Mining tab
  • Mine directly to their own wallet using their CPU

More experienced miners can continue using XMRig with the Block Zero RandomX implementation:

Code:
Algorithm:  rx/blockzero
Pool:       pool.bloz.org:3334
Username:   bz1YOURADDRESS.worker
Password:   x

The official pool currently offers:

  • 0% pool fee
  • PPLNS reward distribution
  • 0.5 BLOZ minimum automatic payout
  • No registration or account required
  • Server-verified mining shares
  • Native BLOZ payouts directly to the miner’s wallet

The wallet, node, integrated miner, external XMRig mining, pool payouts and blockchain synchronisation have now been operating reliably for some time.

So far, we have not encountered any critical problems with the current wallet or mining software during regular use.

This does not mean that software can never contain bugs. Block Zero remains young and continued testing is important.

However, reaching a point where users can install the wallet, synchronise the chain, mine, receive payouts and transfer coins without ongoing critical issues is an important milestone.

Stable infrastructure is less dramatic than announcing a new feature every day, but it is what a real blockchain needs.

Bitcoin-Core Foundation

Block Zero is an independent Layer-1 blockchain built on the modern Bitcoin Core v31 codebase.

It retains the fundamental architecture that makes Bitcoin reliable:

  • UTXO accounting model
  • Bitcoin Script
  • Segregated Witness — SegWit
  • Taproot
  • Native wallet and transaction system
  • Peer-to-peer block propagation
  • Predictable block rewards and halvings
  • A fixed maximum supply of 21 million coins

The main difference is the mining algorithm.

Bitcoin uses SHA-256, which is now dominated by specialised ASIC mining farms.

Block Zero uses RandomX so ordinary desktops, laptops, workstations and home servers can participate competitively with their CPUs.

The goal is not to replace Bitcoin.

The goal is to recreate one part of early Bitcoin that has largely disappeared:

The ability to join a new Proof-of-Work network using a normal computer.

Growing Peer-to-Peer Network

At the time of this update, the public explorer node reports 25 connected peers, including connections from multiple countries and independent IP addresses.

This number represents peers visible to that specific public node. It should not be interpreted as a perfect count of every Block Zero node in existence, since private nodes, firewalled nodes and nodes connected through other peers may not all appear there.

Nevertheless, the peer list shows that the chain is no longer operating only between the original infrastructure servers.

Independent nodes are synchronising, relaying transactions and receiving new blocks through the Block Zero peer-to-peer network.

Supply and Dev & Growth Fund

Approximately 275,710 BLOZ have now entered circulation through Proof-of-Work mining.

This represents only around 1.31% of the maximum 21,000,000 BLOZ supply.

There was:

  • No premine
  • No presale
  • No ICO
  • No venture-capital allocation
  • No private investor allocation
  • No founder allocation created before launch

From block 1, native BLOZ entered circulation through open Proof-of-Work mining.

Starting from block 1,500, a transparent consensus-level 10% Dev & Growth Fund allocation supports the infrastructure needed by a modern cryptocurrency project.

The fund supports areas such as:

  • Wallet development and builds
  • Mining pools and mining software
  • Explorer infrastructure
  • Seed nodes and servers
  • Bridge development and maintenance
  • Documentation and user support
  • Listings and market infrastructure
  • Useful community-developed tools

The fund is part of the visible on-chain block-reward rules. It does not create additional inflation beyond the existing block subsidy.

Bridge and Wrapped BLOZ

Native BLOZ exists on the independent Block Zero blockchain.

For access to BNB Smart Chain liquidity, native BLOZ can be converted into wBLOZ through the official bridge.

  • BLOZ and wBLOZ are bridged at a 1:1 ratio
  • Wrapped tokens are backed by native BLOZ in the bridge reserve
  • The bridge currently charges a 0% bridge fee
  • Users can wrap BLOZ and later unwrap wBLOZ back to the native chain

Official wBLOZ contract:

Code:
0x395B11E87ac0630aF9DC32520f411dB17C13F24C

Always verify the official contract before interacting with any token or liquidity pool.

Early Market Development

The first wBLOZ/USDT market is live on PancakeSwap V3 and can now be followed through GeckoTerminal.

At the time of this update, GeckoTerminal displayed approximately:

Code:
wBLOZ price:        $0.01144
24-hour change:     +171.52%
24-hour low:        $0.004214
24-hour high:       $0.01144
24-hour volume:     $99.10
24-hour trades:     8
Pool liquidity:     Approximately $196.83
Trading fee:        0.25%

Live chart:

The recent percentage increase looks significant, but these numbers require proper context.

This is still an extremely early market with low trading volume and limited liquidity. A relatively small purchase or sale can therefore move the displayed price substantially.

The current price should be understood as early price discovery, not as a reliable valuation of a mature cryptocurrency network.

There is no promised value, guaranteed return or guaranteed future exchange listing.

The current focus remains:

  • Keeping the chain stable
  • Increasing independent mining participation
  • Growing the peer-to-peer network
  • Improving wallet usability
  • Supporting community development
  • Expanding distribution
  • Gradually building healthier liquidity

What Comes Next

The first phase was about proving that the chain could launch fairly and operate.

The next phase was about building the basic infrastructure: wallets, mining tools, pools, an explorer, a bridge and the first market.

Those components are now live.

The next stage is continued decentralisation and real ecosystem growth:

  • More independent miners
  • More public and private nodes
  • Additional mining pools
  • More community-created applications and tools
  • Improved documentation and onboarding
  • Broader distribution of native BLOZ
  • More sustainable market liquidity

Block Zero is still very young, experimental and open source.

But it is no longer only a concept.

The mainnet is live. More than 5,500 blocks have been mined. The software is working. Miners are receiving native Proof-of-Work rewards. Nodes are connected. The bridge is operating. The first external market is active.

The foundation is running.

Now it is time to continue building on it.

Join us and be a part of this great new movement.

A second chance at Genesis.

Block Zero (BLOZ) — development update, October 2026

Status update on Block Zero: what changed recently on the wallet/node and bridge side, plus current network numbers. No price talk, just what shipped.

Wallet / node (github.com/Rexemre/blockzero-core)
  • v1.0.0-rc36 (Sep 29): wallet fallback fee is now enabled by default (1000 sat/kvB equivalent). A freshly started wallet with no fee-estimate history no longer fails to send with "Fee estimation failed. Fallbackfee is disabled."
  • v1.0.0-rc37 (Sep 29, current Latest release): on request of the community, the smallest unit is no longer called "Satoshi" - it's now called Rex (1 BLOZ = 100,000,000 rex). Download: mre/blockzero-core/releases/tag/v1.0.0-rc37
  • v1.0.0-rc38 (tagged Oct 2, finishing up): wording-only follow-up to rc37 - cleans up the remaining Bitcoin/BTC/Satoshi references in the GUI, installer and RPC help text to consistently say Block Zero/BLOZ/Rex. No consensus changes. Will be announced here once it's promoted off pre-release.
Bridge (BLOZ ↔ wBLOZ on BSC) - bridge.bloz.org
  • Oct 1: fixed a relayer bug that polled BSC too close to the chain tip and flooded the logs with BlockNotFound errors (~60 lines per 10 minutes). It now keeps a safety distance from the tip and fails over across multiple RPC endpoints. Error is gone, cursor has kept moving without a stall since.
  • Oct 1: added automated monitoring (5-minute health checks on the relayer, the node, reserve vs. wBLOZ supply, and stuck/failed transfers) with alerting, so problems get caught faster than before.
  • Current status: reserve ~239,467 BLOZ backing ~230,010 wBLOZ in circulation on BSC - fully backed, no bridge fee currently charged on wrap/unwrap. No coins have been lost to a bug or exploit, and there have been no security incidents on the node or bridge.

Network (snapshot, explorer.bloz.org)
  • Block height: 16,550
  • Network hashrate: ~309 kH/s (RandomX, CPU only)
  • Difficulty: 0.0438
  • Dev fund: active since block 1500, currently 20% of the block reward

Community
Discord is at 183 members (38 online at the time of writing) - discord.gg/FbJzrwAU2W. The "Rex" unit name above came out of a discussion there, not from the dev team.

Hi,

I've been following BLOZ and I appreciate the work on the wallet, bridge, and network stability.

I'd like to suggest a few simple ideas to increase interest and attract more miners:

1. One-click mining in the wallet
2. Discord/Telegram bot (hashrate, blocks, rewards)
3. A simple "Start mining in 5 minutes" guide
4. Public dashboard with real-time stats
5. More frequent updates

These don't require much effort but could help a lot with adoption.

If any of these ideas interest you, I'm available for feedback or testing.

Thanks for the work you're doing.
