Maybe for legitimate TV ads, they pass through the right process first before they are shown, but when it comes to vloggers and social media influencers, I do not think there is enough regulation there.
Definitely, and I strongly agree with that, it wreaks havoc when influencers are not regulated in our country, so many crimes were committed, and so many workers were displaced, and many families are ruined because of influencers successfully convincing people that gambling is an easy way to make money. Now that influencers are banned from promoting online casinos, people are protected from fake propaganda and fake news about what gambling really is. It helps a lot to minimize those followers to believe that gambling is a easy way to make money, from the influencers view they are just doing it to earn extra, but the implication can ruined a gambler's life, those who become addicted because of following the people that they idolized, of there's a rule it should be executed as it will serve the purpose why such rules do exist.

So my question is, can social media influencers really not be regulated, or maybe in some countries they are already regulated and it is just not properly enforced in ours?
In an ideal world, I would say that gambling ads should be regulated especially on social media. Social media platforms like facebook, instagram, TikTok, and the others have a strong influence on its users. When such gambling ads are being promoted by influencers- who are almost people that others look up to, you can tell that it would have negative impacts if it is not curtailed.

It is not that it cannot be done, but I believe governments in most countries don't pay much attention to these things, because if they think about it, they are going to need to create a force or an authority that will specifically look into such matters, because if gambling is legal in a country, then ads and stuff related to it should definitely be regulated and checked before they go live for the audience, not only because they ask or encourage them to gamble, but also because a lot of the advertised platforms could also be scams.
A few days ago, I was watching a stream on Kick where a person was gambling on stream, and in the chat box, they had pinned a link to a casino platform with a text that said that you get a specific amount when you register and it is withdrawable without any conditions, but when you sign up on the platform, and try to withdraw, it asks you to make a deposit first before you can actually withdraw the amount. Now someone with a brain would understand that it's a scam because you can't just get $600 or $700 for free by depositing just $100 even if you lose that $100, but some will fall for it.
So such things should be monitored before they go live.

Aside from regional regulations that place's ban on some ads displayed on social public space, I haven't seen efforts from those social media dev team as efforts to support restrictions on underage exposure to gambling and this is where the main problem lies, it will definitely tale alot of time for us to be able to take those gambling ads off from our social media since most of the people on social media are just hunting for the views likes and comments that make those companies to pay them for they promotions.

Influencers always make things extraordinary way to attract people. Things that are not possible they can make it possible for the people to react to it faster. And those who are eager to make money see those things, they will be motivated to use those casinos. Either they end up losing or scammed. In my country, I see those ads in Truecaller and Banking apps more. The scary thing about it is that anyone can be a social media influencer these days. The decision to regulate lies entirely with the government, as they can force social media platforms operating in their country to block accounts associated with gambling. However, even if social media platforms block such content, gambling-related content can still slip through their radar. For example, I still see a video or two about gambling on Facebook. Even though they don't explicitly promote gambling, they package it as a skit, thus reaching a wider audience.

can social media influencers really not be regulated
I think it's very possible to regulate them. They'll stop doing that when the government puts a penalty to whoever is found to be advertising gambling ads. The regulation should include to the right and legal ages where it can be shown. If they're tough and not following the regulations, they have to pay the penalties that will be put into them. The government that sanctions anyone who advertises gambling is the right step but maybe this applies to countries that prohibit gambling to be carried out such as for example against the majority of their religion and with countries that legalize gambling I think there are no restrictions that need to be done for the casino itself they have to market it with reasonable marketing but if it is excessive then the government must act not just silent even though gambling is legalized in their country and for countries that prohibit gambling as I have said it should be the duty of the government to pay attention to the internet world so that gambling advertisements do not escape and spread on the internet or social media. Whether it's within their religion and culture, as long as the government steps in and gives that notice to everyone who does that. They'll have to enforce what's right. Whoever violates it upon making it as a regulation or law, then they'll have to take that punishment that awaits them. The government has the duty to protect its people and in that way if they're going to be sanctioning anyone who's found doing that, that's the right thing to do.

TV ads shown to users during short/mid breaks and after-game ads. Those are already regulated and I'm sure that at the end of every add they announce an important sentence without any background music or sound , it’s no other than Gamble responsibly .
Getting addicted is the major problem here, once you do it gets really hard to curb entrirely. More rgulations from Casinos? Maybe but that should only be available to those that want it not imposing it on everyone.
I think there ahould be a system that actually force you to stay below a limit . Anyone that can't get it under control can easily sign up for it.

They must be regulated, and if possible, should be banned from any social media platform. I find social media influencers manipulating the presentation of gambling results, where they only show us good things about the platform they are promoting. Most of them are even laced with deception, and worst, there are also social media infuencer that are promoting scam casinos.

You are right and thats why even if they would be trying out to regulate and as we know on social media then anyone could really become an influencer or making up those streams on which it would be that related to gambling on which we can say that full control would really be totally impossible and we know that all of us would definitely be doing something as long it can make us money or something that we can earn and we wont be minding about on what it would be or the service/product on which same as you said. If ever that there's a regulation then it would really be totally possible but it would be applied by facebook/meta itself in regarding to this but we do know that completely removing or prohibiting would really be that somewhat impossible.

Now being an influencer is only enough to have a lot of followers, if you have hundreds of thousands to millions of followers you will be an influencer who is paid quite a lot for advertising a gamble, does not need intelligence or anything just promoting and will receive high payouts, because the casino needs a high impression for a promotion. Some gambling promotions carried out by influencers are also set to show their airtime if it is in a country that allows gambling, but in countries that are not friendly to gambling or prohibit gambling, gambling promotion ads will be banned and there will be sanctions if violated. Casinos will place ads in the right places and have high exposure, such as at football and other sports sports matches and some big influencers who do advertise gambling. The point is that all ads, whether through Influencers or official social media, will be regulated and adjusted to the applicable jurisdictional rules.

Well, they are regulated in my Country, so obviously they CAN be regulated. They are mostly filtered away from any social media ads or tv ads that are shown in my country. That's probably going to change soon though, as there are lobbyists wanting more looser gambling laws. Thing is that no one is demanding them to be not regulated, except obviously people that benefit from them. Because no one really like ads pushing on their social media feed anyway. They are advertising in other ways though, like via brand logo visibility.

That's right and this is the reason I will also support that gambling ads on social media be regulated because it strongly controls the masses and how they react to such. My own concern is the underage children who access social media without any parental guidance, and when such ads pop up, they click without thinking twice about the consequences of their actions, and they gamble, and in some cases, they fall into a scam, and lose money or become addicted.

Featured advertisements can be regulated, but creators prefer the advertisements to be included into their content, like if someone who is having a cooking related product then they will keep showing a particulr brand's product that pays them to do it. And in the same way live streamers and many others just keep the logo or promote the brand in other ways by keep showing their name without even announcing it as ad. As per the social media it is not even allowed but they can't control such contents in the reality.

They should be regulated; it's not just a question of if they can't be regulated, and their regulations should not just be on them alone being prevented from promoting certain casinos, but in general influencers should be restricted from adding gambling ads to content which doesn't have anything to do with gambling in general.
Some countries whose citizens view their content might view gambling as illegal there, and also those who view their content might already have some gambling issues and are fighting to get out of it, which such ads won't help them at all.

I just want to share this news and ask for your opinion because I do not really see gambling advertisements being regulated well in our country. Maybe for legitimate TV ads, they pass through the right process first before they are shown, but when it comes to vloggers and social media influencers, I do not think there is enough regulation there. Some of them even encourage gamblers to play and sign up using their links, making it look like people can easily win if they join through them, and until now I think this is still happening. In this news, one man reportedly lost around £80,000 because of gambling debt, and now he is asking for more control over gambling advertisements, especially during big sports events like the World Cup. A man who ran up about £80,000 of gambling debt is calling for more to be done around gambling advertisements, amid coverage of the football World Cup.

So my question is, can social media influencers really not be regulated, or maybe in some countries they are already regulated and it is just not properly enforced in ours? Ask yourself this, should you be regulated? Should I be regulated? I am a pretty popular and respected user advertising and well known casino and me advertising for them might influence others to play there. Do we make people deposit or do people still have free will? Win or lose, the decision to play is on the user. The influencer is just making a few bucks advertising a product they hopefully trust and believe in.

OP has a valid point. Often these celebrities do paid promotions without even thinking what they are advertising. I have seen come celebrities do gambling ads too but what OP says is valid, these ads should be regulated too. These celebrities have a huge fan following and often, people below 18 also get these ads and hence they get triggered to gambling. This should be regulated at least on platform level where people below 18 are not shown such ads at all.
Even in countries where gambling is allowed, the advertisements need to be regulated, and what I think of is the person who advertises it like a celebrity. Actually, of course there is a profit side that is obtained by the person who advertises it because there can be no profit at all obtained. But maybe it depends on the casino, so the casino itself must look first before choosing by thinking about whether the person is appropriate to advertise gambling or not because in my opinion not everyone will be pro-gambling even though their country is allowed.

Depending on the country I am pretty sure they are regulated at least to a certain extent. Gambling is always going to be problematic to some people while other can do it as a hobby.

It should be regulated. We have so many influencers who being followed by people with the various age. Let influencer to advertise gambling while he has mostly minors as his followers are so dumb. It's happening in my country when there is a gaming youtuber who being followed by majority of minors, but he's accepted the advertisement from the casino site.
It sounds inethical because he's obviously risking minors life by doing it. It's the reason influencer should be regulated to ensure they don't wrongdoing their power in influencing their followers. The regulators have power to do this.

It is not that it cannot be done, but I believe governments in most countries don't pay much attention to these things,
That is true, in my country were our government don't really care much about this like this and most times if you are that type that don't usually verify things before running into it, most times you easily fall victim of scam. However, it is important gambling ads should be regulated especially before being out on social media handles for people to know, because anything that has literally been spoken about especially from someone with high esteem (celebrities, top notch influencer and so on) is automatically good as reaching a wilder audience we practically have no idea of.
