Most people dont want to become rich, the highest value for money is security.  If you have the wealth or means to secure forward your costs for the next twenty years you can say you have achieved alot.  Its not easy to do by cash alone as inflation is present and actively a threat so the wealth is in the means of production secure to last twenty years of likely extended inflationary pressures on all common costs.
  Security by far is the largest motivation for wealth and then secondary things like luxury might apply, every recession shows this bias to fundamentals is the true value in the economy.

Aside from the security to be able to provide for future needs and some likely wants, I think the 10% reason for people to get rich is power especially for people that have been trampled down far too long by people of power, to be able to enjoy the full privilege of your rights and further more, to be a to have a sustainable provision for future offspring.

Yeah due to inflation, money should not be kept around but be tied down to an appreciating valued assets.

We must have a financial foundation for future security. And to create a good financial foundation, we must invest. I think business and investment are the only ways in which we can create a good foundation for the future. Inflation is a problem that exists everywhere, and it is a difficult problem. To survive it, we must use money instead of saving it, that is, invest it. And this is to invest in an asset from which we can expect a good return at least in the long run, of course every investment involves risk, but we should invest in an area through research that has a good chance of success. Being rich, gives you a sense of control or power over others. I guess that's why many people want to become rich. Besides avoiding discrimination out of being poor. You don't really need to become rich to live a fulfilling life. If you live within your means, nothing else matters. You can be part of the middle class and still be successful. I completely agree with you, overcoming poverty doesn't necessarily mean very wealthy but for one to have the ability to control their finances  and most people don't understand this part of life because there are some people that who were once rich before but are now poor and that is caused by the lack of discipline or control over their lives, as they don't have plans or clear purpose on how to sustain their wealth and that leads them into the wrong path of losing everything but one can still change their ways, if they do the right thing.

Well, a business of rental home is also nice idea. If we have many of them, it also guarantees good income monthly/yearly. I also have a plan to have this kind of business in the future. But it must be started by purchasing some lands in an ideal location. This takes a lot of money as well.

Discipline only help you to maintain a certain way or life it doesn't make you to become rich as a person unless you are already rich then you apply discipline in order not to give your attention to some lifestyle trust will not be of good benefit to you. I agree with you. A person can be called successful, happy and rich only when he has a regular strong income flow, does not have much mental tension and is living a beautiful life. I think he is a rich enough person and a successful person. Even then, everyone's needs are not the same. Despite having that income, a person feels poor and getting that income is a dream for some people. That is why the whole matter mainly depends on personal decisions and preferences. And there are many who do not want to work. Others like their job very much and continue working even after becoming financially independent. Because many people feel mentally depressed if they do not have a job. So in this case, a person should move forward with the goal of creating such a position in life. You are right everybody's needs in life is different and that is true. Just because a person have a very high income does not automatically mean the person is financially secure or means that they are happy.  You might be admiring someone and saying to yourself that "if I can be like this person I'll be okay in life, but when you go close to that person, you'll discover that they also have their own needs that he or she is hoping for.

You are also right about being financial independent does not mean people have to stop working. Most people work because they actually enjoy what they do or probably using that as a way to connect with people.  In my definition financial freedom simply means a person is working because that's their choice, and not because you're forced to work just to survive.

Yes you're right, financial freedom is the basic reason why many people wants to be rich, no one wants to be dependent on others for survival but the reality is that everyone can not be rich, this might sound off but fact needs to be stated clearly.
