Yeah most football fans speak and act out if emotions. But they have to learn how to control it because no violence action will be taken likely by the Football Federation. That is if their actions through words or otherwise affects a players life. On the other hand, footballers are trained psychologicaly to withstand the insults on social media.
Insults on social media are one of the tools for people to vent their frustration and it makes sense that players should be psychologically trained to deal with this kind of problem because it is likely to happen especially if they are in a famous team. Violence is not good, even with the many text-based insults in the comments of players' posts it can be considered violence too but not physical violence. I sometimes feel confused why there is disappointment that leads to violence and even death.

Fans are really crazy, even on WhatsApp stusts the dragging was so funny ,like I was asking myself what is the color of their problem, social media bashing and insult is one thing I really don't like, people look for where to put their anger and frustration on ,I tried as much as possible not to have a favorite because I don't think I'm ready to argue with anyone, especially when it's something that affect people's gambling activities, they will drag you to the mould , but in this case I believe everyone has an opinion, the best is to let everyone think whatever they want or talk however they wish .

some fans are truly crazy and I believe people can really get crazy as I have heard of people who will stay all night and singing throughout the night of Arsenal’s victory to carry the title of Premier League the last time and as a result, these same individuals missed work the next day and almost got queried and I am like, why will somebody undergo such situations because they are fans. I have also seen people fight physically because there clubs are not winning and the opponents who’s their clubs are winning were extremely happy about it and I am surprised because these clubs are not going to share the money with you guys so why are you so disturbed

Fans about to expressing their feelings without hesitation and I don't know why they mostly have such mentality, some could as well be rebellious against any poor performances, especially the moment the discover that they are supported player was not performing as they wanted, and one of the reason why you could discover things like this happening is because of the passion many have for a particular sport and their preferred team which they support, while some would have placed a bet over them in the same direction and expected them to have done better.
Aren't these people expecting a bit too much? Perhaps they simply overestimated what their idols were capable of. Why do they so stubbornly insist that things *have* to turn out a certain way? To me, it seems incredibly naive—like little children waiting for a treat. Yes, I used to have idols too, but over time, that feeling just faded away. Now I simply watch the game without feeling attached to anyone in particular. Just an outside observer.

That's to tell you what deep love means, some fans are really dedicated and they're all ready to do anything to show their level of love and commitment they have for their team. But one crazy thing I can't do even if I'm pretty dedicated or whatsoever. I will never miss out in my official duties all in the name of celebrating what, what if I'm being sacked or suspended what will be my fate, or will the team I'm supporting sort out my bills? or properly take care of my family? This are want we should be considering before taking some certain actions so that we wouldn't be looking lost when some certain things happen.

My only catch and the only thing that made me laugh out really loud while I read through the entire op is the response of this gentle lady supposedly Bruno's girlfriend, and the user who asked the question was also very funny referring to Ronaldo as his GOAT, I found myself laughing hilariously this afternoon and it kinda made me feel a bit relieved from some tensions that were already building up in my system due to some personal issues I am trying to sort out.. I'm glad this was able to bring down some tension building up. We all need a good laugh sometimes to feel better. Honestly, I also find that reply as a GOAT reply . I mean, these fans are just beside themselves sometimes. With the performance of Messi yesterday, some fans will be expect same thing from him in today's game against Uzbekistan. ~snip
Ronaldo should seriously retire after this world Cup and stop creating problems for his team mates, that lady was right, Ronaldo is beginning to appear to me as a very selfish person, he is over 40 if I am not mistaken, he has possibly made all the money he can ever make, he should retire, take that rest and possibly come back after a few year and take up the job of coaching if he is still interested in participating in football.
I agree with this sentiment. Other than goalies, Ronaldo is the only player over 41 years that have been fielded in the world cup. Lucas Modric and Eden Dzeko are still 40 and some months, not up to 41 yet. So I feel this should be his last world cup cause he is no longer fit

Freedom of expression and respectful behavior are expected by everyone, and in football or any sport, these two need to go hand in hand. When people get emotionally involved with a team, player, or the outcome of their bet, many people can't control their frustration or anger. This leads to an increase in abuse, personal attacks, or sarcasm on social media. So, regardless of the team or person they support, fans should be careful not to disrespect anyone or become overly aggressive in doing so. Many people, unable to control their emotions, resort to various types of insulting and abusive language, which is absolutely not right. Such behavior is in no way reasonable. And such behavior only worsens the situation in the gallery. Sometimes fights or scuffles also occur. Therefore, everyone should be able to express their opinions, but those opinions should not insult others, spread hatred, or deliberately spread misinformation.

Even the OP is trying to make it look like they are here to call the fans out but most of what was written wasn't about the fan but they were instead trying to make Ronaldo look incompetent, talking about hate when you are also giving it out yourself is a level of hypocrisy that should not be encouraged, some fans are crazy and should probably not be allowed online but sadly there is no way to stop them, if you want to speak against them then speak against them but don't try to put the blame of the player himself, that's the same thing the fans are doing that you are angry about but you end up doing the very same thing as well.

In this case, I will directly bring the example of Messi and the Argentine players. Every player in Argentina plays for Messi and every player's playing style is Messi-centric. The coaching staff of the Argentine players all respect Messi because he deserves respect but I don't see the same thing in the case of Portugal. At the moment, maybe the Portuguese midfielders are called the best midfielders in the world, maybe this has become their ego, which is why they don't consider Ronaldo useful now.
Ronaldo is undoubtedly Got, so there is no opportunity to ignore him and if he is insulted on the field or if he is spoken badly about in an off-field conference, then undoubtedly it will hurt Ronaldo's fans.
You look at the performance of Argentina in the two matches, every player gave the ball to Messi, which is why Messi is able to finish brilliantly, but I didn't see this same thing in the Portugal match. It can be said that the Portuguese players did not pass the ball to Ronaldo. If the internal situation of the team is like this, then it is disrespectful to a legendary player and it is not possible to do well in a big tournament like the World Cup with such a messy performance.

Maybe they were expecting Ronaldo to keep up with Messi's score line. Maybe that's why they were angry, cause I'm sure most don't care if Portugal dropped points, they just want Ronaldo to score and lift the world cup.
Of course, every Portugal/C.Ronaldo's fan would want C. Ronaldo to score like Messi, which is where the aggression is coming from. Although their grievance could be justified when any other players are not performing to expectations or are not feeding their principal, which is C. Ronaldo here, the ball as needed. In the end, it is football, and fans could be crazy, for they are humans and emotional. That is why they call them fans.

Fans can be so dramatic, taken it upon themselves to fight each other with words but this is not new it is very common, and it is crazy though. What they have forgotten is that C. Ronaldo is not the only one in That team it requires other efforts put together to achieve a good result, reality shows that one team can't keep winning everytime as we imagined it, the is so much struggle and strength required in that field and it baffles me on how some of this fans compare the strength of a player to the other. Nevertheless this is football game and the fans for each team always banter words with the other fans especially when their team fails to meet with their their expectations. Don't blame them, most of them already placed bet but were disappointed, some of this is coming a heart of grieve from the loss.

Freedom of expression allows people expressing their feeling but they should not do bad things that could harm others. That happens in some events especially local events where their fans support their favorite team but if their team loses, they will do bad things. Fans should realize and accepting the reality if their team loses against the opponent team and not angry or losing their controls and makes other people hurt. They can express their feelings but in the right place so no one will be hurt and everyone will still be safe. Hopefully fan will not harm or do something that can make others hurt.

Someone had a lovely desire for a YouTuber, he got so obsessed that he left his home and travelled down to where she is and killed her, why? Because prior to the time he killed her he was rejected by her.
He confessed to her online and she reject it kindly, he got so angry that he travelled to the next city and get her killed, just imagine this, it's why I will never be surprised no matter what any fan do.
People get obsessed with anything they like, and football own is even crazier, someone shot four people in a viewing center just because of football argument, there is even more but not today,

There are times you will see football fans shouting and fighting because of little arguments about football. Being a fans of football club doesn't mean that we should allow it to affect our work or relationship with others. There is joy in being a fans of a club but this joy should not get to our head that it will end up messing out lives.

Some people can go to any length because of gambling, and it makes zero sense for one to allow their emotions to take possession of them, by making decisions for them, knowing fully well that the decisions are not made by the rules but doesn't have the ability to control their emotions, until they have destroy their lives, that is when they will realized that gambling is just a game. The awareness is a way to protect themselves from dangers, so they should not neglect the process and try to do things their own way.

No! You're wrong. I wasn't bashing Ronaldo, neither am I talking down on him. I was just giving stats disproving the stance of those toxic fans claiming the whole Portugal team is garbage because they didn't assist their GOAT in scoring goals. They even went as far as wishing death on Bruno. I gave those stats and concluded that they all happened when he was no longer in his prime. This here is me giving an excuse for the poor stat. But most of these games are happening when Ronaldo is no longer in his prime, so I won't fault him too much on that. But they should just stop bashing the other teammates for his underperformance. It floors me how people blames others for their failure, although I know he isn't blaming anyone, but his fans are just crazy.
I don't bash other players. I only ever criticize players in teams I support both in the club level and country. I have no business doing that, unless there is a debate, then I'll pull up stats. Talking about stats, C. Ronaldo is one of the most decorated players in the history of football. And the second richest player right now, he's so successful in his entire career, and these are facts no one can argue about. Why I pulled up the stats I did earlier was to disprove the stance of those crazy fans. Blaming everyone but him for his poor performance. Meanwhile, he is over 41, making him the oldest player other than goalies to ever play the world cup in the past 2 decades as we speak. That alone is an undisputable argument to excuse his bad stat.

The moment gami stops being entertainment and begin controlling a person's emotions it becomes dangerous, many individuals ignore Waring and chase loses thinking the next bet will fix everything.

People think that if they vent out their frustration or anger on other people that the outcome of the game will change, nothing will change for sure and they are just wasting their time and energy on what that doesn’t benefit them positively and right, most people needs to undergo some psychological training because if they continue like this, they might end up ruining their precious all because of one small mistake that they could have prevented. Besides, the game is not designed to be perfect, mistakes can happen and errors can occur, so why are they involving in violence because of a game that go as the players wants.
