Why not only walk to the nearest lottery agency of betting agency and play numbers there instead of having this thing?

So I agree that it's been a long time since they introduced these lotto machines and that's still why people enjoy them as they are easy and cheap to use. They are easy to get into but because of the low entry cost they are appealing to many players, but it is important to remember that the odds are usually against the player. There's always someone who has been winning big prizes but that really is the exception to the rule, as there are more people winning the losing tickets. That's why people that play these games should consider them games for fun, not a steady source of income. It's best to set limits and only bet what you can afford to lose.

Good day all, so I was at the vocanizer for wheel balancing today, and I noticed there is a local betting shop near me, Babaejebu that is the name of the local fiat casino that operates this Gambling business, the business os licence here in my country, but what surprised me was the machine used in playing the game, I saw some gamblers checking a board to pick number I don't know if that is a dice machine, bit the operator wasn't giving me attention since I am not a player and I asked him repeatedly what type of machine is that if it a dice machine or slots machine since he inserted a card into the machine after powering it.

Curious with how the device operate too but definitely will check the specs and how it works online.  In our country lotto outlet has machine and it works only on the place where it was installed. I have seen this device too, then I kept wondering what it was actually for, but one thing I noticed was that any shop that has this device always have Men crowding and arguing with each other, the name confused me more as they always call the shop baba ijebu, the ones I have seen where being run by women, and as little as that machine it can print out cards and I am sure it does other stuff, I thought it was another type of this POS machine because I also see those people doing POS transition too which Left me guessing, at some point I try asking if it was a mini Automated teller machine. The image  about  is a machine known by most of the local gamblers  across  Africa, it's used to print the lucky number you picked  for example  you pick a set of numbers and the machine  help  you print  it with your  tracking  ID that proves  you actually  placed  a bet on those number and if your set of numbers  comes  out to be among  the lucky numbers  then you won the bet, but if lit doesn't  then you lost. Personally these types of machines were popular where I live many years ago, they were different than this in the photo but served the same purpose in printing lottery tickets. These got really unpopular when one operator was caught cheating despite being licensed and because of that any other business offering the same service were completely banned. I got curious about this device and looked on the internet on how this works.  So this is connected to a centralized system, but dependent on the operator.  I watched the video linked on the first reply, and due to audio clarity, I failed to understand how it works so I looked for an article to read how this machine really works and I find one here:  What is Baba Ijebu?

Hahaha funny. It is not dirty. It is simply the machine used to play the baba ijebu game. It is not like the usual online gambling or casino game but you can use your smartphone or PC to access it. It is unique on its own and winning numbers generated from the central system. It has different names for different game you want to play depending on the time of the day. Like for example, I heard it has game like ES, international, Ghana, Onitsha special etc. It started in Nigeria in 2001 but has now spread across some African countries.

I’m not from Nigeria either, but I understand the phenomenon behind this machine. It accepts very small bets, and the person providing the service can be found almost anywhere since the setup is mobile. places like markets, outside cafes, near parks, and so on. I remember people at markets during my childhood selling instant lottery tickets; there was always a demand for them. It’s probably the same here it’s become a bit of a tradition.

It accepts very small bets, and the person providing the service can be found almost anywhere since the setup is mobile. places like markets, outside cafes, near parks, and so on. I think I understand it now. Then this machine is supposed to be used to bring lottery to spaces in which people are not actually looking to gamble at all, like markets, malls, town squares and urban centers, it is like a mobile lottery agency.
