Bitcoin volatility is not one thing that should scare you away from investing in it, because it's volatility never remains permanent, as it's what happens regularly, hence allowing the coin to either skyrocket very high during the bull period and likewise fall also I price value during the bear market too. So of all things that are going on telegram, it's only Bitcoin scams you could point out and that is worrying you. Like are you for real? Do you not see romance scams people are doing on Telegram? Although I have personally not had an experience where bitcoin was demand from me by a total stranger or any group claiming what they are not. But I still do not think that it is impossible for scammers to request for bitcoins sent to them. Like you said, scammers need money and they will do it in any way that will seem convincing to those they are trying to scam, this case should not be ruled out completely.
