It's strange that being 11 years in the field Coin Wallet doesn't support pairing with hardware wallets ^{at least I didn't find this feature either in your description or on the official website}. If it had this feature, I would probably test wallet, because besides Bitcoin it supports some other coins that interest me.

You highlighted authorizing any action with Yubikey. But in my view, this adds very little security advantage because it only matters in one case - when a stranger somehow gets their hands on the wallet. It doesn't protect against all other threats.

I've already tested this wallet, and it actually works in an interesting way.

I just wonder why you chose Changelly/ChangeNOW/ChangeHero^[1] for your exchanges, because although the wallet is open source and "NO KYC", these services fraudulently request KYC.

Will there be support for multi-signature wallets, coin control, and the ability to connect to own full node ?

We already started discussing hardware wallet support in another thread, let's continue here. How widespread is this need actually? If you put aside the marketing and the nice picture. Does anyone have even a rough idea?

These are 2 different things: creating a wallet, storing and sending - no kyc. But buying and swapping goes through third-party services (same as every other wallet?) and each has its own KYC policy depending on country, limits, currency etc. All the links are there.

And after all, the number of crypto users who use YubiKey is far lower than the number of hardware wallet owners, but you bothered with this gimmick anyway, knowing it adds almost nothing to security. I have YubiKey but would never set up it to authorize my action on software wallet. ^{Just imagine I lost my Yibikey}.

wait, i'm confused... i understand what the network fee is for, but what's the additional fees for?



this is supposed to be a self-custodial and open source wallet, so why is there an extra 0.5% fee + 192 sats on bitcoin transactions? other supported coins have similar fees too.

Good question, I've never heard of a self-custodial wallet that charges a percentage in addition to the fee based on the amount transferred, aren't these fees for the swap function? I'm also confused.

Wait, we're talking about support pairing software wallets like ours with hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor right? But the sources only show overall sales growth - that doesn't really tell us anything. What we need to understand is specifically who uses both at the same time (software and hardware). And on top of that, hardware wallet advertising is allowed almost everywhere from Google, FB to marketplaces.

honestly, in terms of development effort these are completely different things - YubiKey support costs N resources, hardware wallet support costs N x 100 or more.
