I don't have any better place to ask this question than here:

I was reading through some threads on the scam accusation section of the forum, and I came across sports betting policy violations of a casino, which brought me to the question running through my head.

Is it a crime or against casino policy for me to place bets on the same game at the same option at different casinos?

Like, for example, I place bet on tennis N. B. Kjaer vs M. Dodig at casino A, go-to casino B and place the same a bet same option, different amount or same amount. Does that in any way violate any sports betting policy?
I get what you're asking and the answer is no it's not a crime to bet on different platforms with same selection. But in as much as there is no general law to prove that this is crime we should also consider or ask ourselves why would a casino protest against such action by a bettor
1. It's either the casino wants to use that as excuse to deny payout
2. Or the casino senses threat

I'll explain what I mean by the casino senses threat, there are people in time past who engaged in some illegal sport betting activity by  getting an inside information from a match, now this match can be fixed or manipulated by a single person for instance, betting on payer  A not to score in a match, and each time player A has a scoring opportunity, he deliberately misses.
However those who got the inside information would likely place this same bet on different sportsbook to avoid suspicion.

To be honest, I don't quite understand the nature of the problem ?
You place bets at different casinos on different outcomes. You do this on your own,  no one is restricting you in your choices, and you're betting your own money. You have the right to place any bets you want at any site, because these are your risks and your decisions. Where is the violation here? And how could the casinos even know about your actions?
Not different outcome but exact the same outcome.

He's like trying to bet for the same bet to two different sports book. It is like betting in bitz on their bookies for an NBA match, and the same game on kikabet.

But everyone's right that there's no assumption that he's done wrong. Because bookies having the same providers might detect if the user is doing an arbitrage which likely isn't the case of what OP asks.

Seems like a lot of posters misunderstood what you were asking about in this thread op. You asked whether placing a bet on the same team in different sites is legal or not, correct? If so, there is no issue at all though it's easier to place the entire stake on that team in 1 site itself.

If those posters understood correctly and what you were asking is if you could place bets on both sides through multiple sites, that's fine too. However, placing bets on both sides in a single site is arbing which is usually frowned upon by those sites.

More than just "frown upon", it violates the majority of the terms of service of bookies. As it is implied bettors are supposed to put their money at risk, and not use their stake to get guaranteed profits from sport betting.

Anyways, I have the little impression OP saw many cases on the internet about people getting banned from partaking in arbitrage and wonder what was all that about.

I have gotten this idea that bookies talk to one another or share information with their odds provider, so it becomes increasingly difficult for someone to do arbitrage.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with placing the same bets, while patronizing the same markets on different casinos. At the very least, you avoided creating multiple accounts on a single casino or attempts to beat the maximum stakes or wins on a game.

What you do on one casino is inconsequential to what you do on the other. They are distinct and have zero connectivity.

You can even place the same bet on the same casino and not have a problem, it varies though as some casinos would rather void some of the bets and pay out the very first.

This is kind of similar to arbitrage betting and if that's what you are referring to then you should know that it's highly prohibited. But from your explanation you are not taking advantage of an error in odds you are just placing a bet of your choice, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Although some casinos or betting sites are quick to reduce the odds of gamblers that stake on single games, when It is noticed on your gambling account for a while it makes them suspicious of the activities that you run on your gambling account.

Basically no, other casino does not care if you make a bet into other casino as long as you dont abuse with their system there is no violation will occur also it's your choice to have a different casino does not mean you need to become a loyal to one.

[...]
Where problems can arise is if you have multiple accounts at the same casino, abuse bonuses or violate the Terms. Most sportsbooks take these seriously. But placing bets in your own name at different casinos is usually a different matter.

Most of this kind of multiple account has a sanction and even you are into a different user but have the same IP address will notify the security of the casino, and newly created account who abuses too the welcome bonuses.

This doesn't seem to be a case of arbitrage betting. Arbitrage betting is basically betting on opposing teams or players, meaning a bettor places bets on both outcomes. Regardless of the winning team, the bettor wins. This is indeed a violation of the rules of most, if not all, betting sites regardless if one is betting on the same casino or different casinos.

But here, OP is asking about placing the same bet on the same option, even the same amount. I don't see any reason why it's a violation of any betting site's rules. It doesn't in anyway hurt the betting site.

I haven't placed such bet before but I don't think betting on same game and same option in different casino violates any rule, maybe it would have been a problem if it was on same Casino in different account but with another casino it can never violate any rule . Like I said I haven't tried I before but I just trust that it will not affect you.

Someone who finds such insider information won't make normal bets in the first place, and a casino will sense something suspicious is going on if a sports bettor who doesn't make bets larger than $100 suddenly makes a bet worth a few thousand dollars, which does make it suspicious. However, if a sports bettor makes the same amount of bet, the sportsbook won't suspect anything, and if they later find out that the game was rigged, they mostly reverse the rewards and return the bet amount, as far as I know, sportsbooks and casinos deal with such things this way.

What OP has asked is similar to arbitrage betting, but a bit different, because when you are doing arbitrage betting, you don't use different platforms and place your bet on the same side, but you basically use all possible outcomes to get a small amount of profits that can be found in between the odds. It basically doesn't make any sense to me for one to use different platforms to make the same bet with the same selection, because that isn't going to get them any yield, imagine if they lose the bet, they lose on both platforms.

And what these bettors advantage of doing what OP mentioned?
This is nothing but what is referred to as arbitrage betting. What the gambler does is compare the odds offered by multiple sportsbooks.

Suppose a match is being played between Team A and Team B. On Sportsbook 1, the gambler places a bet on Team A at odds of 2.2, while on another sportsbook they place a bet on Team B at odds of 2.1. As a result, regardless of which team wins the gambler is likely to make a profit even if it is only a small one.

However casinos often track such activities through their odds providers and may void or nullify these bets. Significant odds differences are usually found only in new or less popular sportsbooks. Nowadays most wellknown and reputable sportsbooks offer nearly identical odds hence making arbitrage betting much more difficult.

I don't really know if all casino sites have the same terms, and conditions, but if all casino platforms have the same terms , and conditions that might be true, but if terms, and conditions differ according to casino platforms, which means that information is not true. However, am more conversant with sports betting. In sports betting gambling on the same option on the same game, and in different betting platform is not forbidden, and you can even bet on the same game multiple times on one gambling platform with the same amount, and nothing is wrong with that, and that is for the platforms I know.
It is necessary you understand the terms of use of any gambling platform you want to make use of, so that you won't get yourself trapped or encounter any difficulty as you are using your casino sites.

Casino companies don't care how many games that you bet in a day but rather what there are interested in is your money. So if you stake the same game but in different casinos then you haven't broken any rules as far as am concern. I have tried this Same pattern before in sport betting platforms. I placed same bets in different betting platforms and stake the games with the same amount of money. The disadvantage of repeating same game in all your slip is that if that particular game cut, it will spoil the other slips. As your fellow gambler I will advice you to always read the terms and conditions of any casino platform before using it to gamble so that you can be sure your on the safe side.

I don't think it is a crime. You can bet on any option that is available on any casino you have an account with. If you lose, the casino won't say because you placed the same bet on different casinos; then you will be reimbursed. The same should apply if you win. It doesn't matter if you bet the same option on a dozen different casinos. What it does is raise suspicion of insider knowledge or match fixing. Questions can be asked about how you knew that the option would play and were able to bet on it in different casinos. But if nothing is found, then they have nothing against you. That's how I see it.

More than just "frown upon", it violates the majority of the terms of service of bookies. As it is implied bettors are supposed to put their money at risk, and not use their stake to get guaranteed profits from sport betting.

I have gotten this idea that bookies talk to one another or share information with their odds provider, so it becomes increasingly difficult for someone to do arbitrage.
It is true that bookis communicate with each other in order to track arbers easily. Problem is what they do after catching such arbers. In the gambling industry, arbers generally have their stakes limited/restricted/banned on soft sportsbooks.

They allow them to withdraw their deposits and winnings until that point usually. However, there are some who rob their deposits and winnings which is horrible behaviour and Betby provider is one of the finest examples in this case. This is why Betby sucks primarily.

I was reading through some threads on the scam accusation section of the forum, and I came across sports betting policy violations of a casino
There are multiple kinds of violations possible within a casino. Some casinos not even allow you to violate but some greedy gamblers trying to cheat with another account of family members but casinos easily track them and punish them according to the level of violation. Holding multiple accounts within a family members also a big violation in most of crypto gambling houses. So, make sure that you are going through the all rules and regulations mindful before trying any differently.

There is no way the gambling sites will even know.
But, I read that when different casinos are based on same bookies, they might catch you even when you are placing bets from different casinos, given that all those accounts are KYC verified for a same gambler. I am not sure about IP address level of tracking because casinos may not share up to IP address level of details with bookies.

You mean if the gambling sites are having the same parent company? This is very possible, but I do not know if they will see it as an offense. I rarely used the gambling sites that will have the same parent companies. It will be better to use a gambling site that do not have the same parent company, I totally agree with this.

Like, for example, I place bet on tennis N. B. Kjaer vs M. Dodig at casino A, go-to casino B and place the same a bet same option, different amount or same amount. Does that in any way violate any sports betting policy?
Why exactly will that be flagged as an offence or violate any rules? They are different casinos even if they use same sport book provider, they have no business with what you do on another brand. There's no way for them to know that you are same person placing bets. I could think of cases where two different casino is ran by same team but it just doesn't make sense if such were to happen. It's only when you use two different accounts on same casino, same IP and same kyc documents that might call for a violation or cheating. But whats the use of placing same bets on two different casino? It will only be costing you double of your risk. If both games were to make a loss, you loss twice what you were supposed to lose..

There are some bookies  that  doesn't allow you to place bet twice on same match, if you do and win both tickets, they might not let you have the second ticket or they might allow you but if they observe that that's what the player is doing always, they will block the person's account. I have heard someone with such experience share their encounter, so if OP is to do so in a different bookie, he will not get have any problem.

But what's the purpose of this?

If you are so sure (there's no sure bet) if you're confident about your bet, why not just Maxibet? You should stake maximum amount on a single ticket instead of duplicating the bet to put your account at risk.

I do bet on same match too in multiple tickets but bet on different options. Betting on same match with exact options in different ticket is actually suspicious and I won't blame bookies for taking any action on your account.

Well... I have not tried betting the same option on same slip different times. I see that as not necessary. Instead, I rather increase the stake and bet it at once. But I have surely bet different options on a game in different bet slip, though it is still not advisable because if you lose in that game, you are likely to lose all other slip where that game appear.

Is it a crime or against casino policy for me to place bets on the same game at the same option at different casinos?

To Op's question, what I think is that casino don't have anything to do with that afterall, they are different casino and operating differently. That should not be a crime.
