In the case you just narrated, why will his friends and family even borrow him money when they know he doesn't have any source of income to pay back the loan. How is it possible that his friends don't know that he is addicted to gambling, if they are unaware then they are not his friends because there is no way one among your friends won't know what you do. It is such a sad story but all i could say is that young people should reduce their hunger for quick wealth because that is what is ruining the life of most young people now. Well, I disagree with that because I have borrowed money many times just to gamble, but look, I am still here. Nothing is really affected to the point that I become irresponsible with my family just because I have gambling debt. For me, the correct statement is not really “borrowing money for gambling is bad,” but borrowing money when you cannot afford to pay it back is the real problem.
