So why not changing the side? Is it because of not trusting fair play, or is it because of being superstitious, or something else?
You can also agree with me that cases like this does not basically require you to switch phase before you can win the game.
It is still the same psychological uncertainty of outcome being experienced in the sport bets that is being encountered in the dice like that.
Perhaps you can decide to switch side at a time and you will be getting the opposite result and vice versa even in consecutive times.

I still see dice or the throwing of coins as a game of chance just like other casino games like the spins. Being so calculative on the game even cause mental stress with the heavy skips of the mind as the dice or coin rolls.

What gambling needs is technicality and diversity with the application of wisdom, many over act when gambling thinking luck will shine on them. There is no need overreacting about games played, if gambling is not favouring such person he or she needs to back off to avoid addiction to gambling that usually results to respiration, frustration and loss of funds made for other important needs or purpose.

I would say that is a behavior which is rather related to the gamblers fallacy... I have been there and I have experienced it myself.
One starts playing a casino game (usually original games by some casino of our choice), we start winning and having a good luck streak, and then suddenly we believe there is some kind of dis balance building up in favor of the opposite side of our bets, so we decide to change in order to make our good luck streak to last longer and pocket more money...

Some people do that because they assume the casino "knows" when we have a good luck streak, so they can revert it and make us lose money by favoring the opposite side.
But it is actually all psychology and does not have anything to do with the actual mechanism which drives casino games.
Even if the game is probably fair, I have talked to gambler who still exhibit such behavior.

I guess many of us that occasionally play originals games know this. Lets say on dice you choose a side, at coin flip you choose one side or at limbo you choose a multiplier and then play. Mostly I, and I know many others do the same, stay on the one side and stick with it, often just adjusting the wager if a losing run comes to smaller bets (hopefully).
I for example often had the (I know it's wrong) mindset that when I switch the side my original side would come more, and actually in my history it always does all of the sudden.
I know all the babbling about “provably fair” and so on, yet that’s my personal experience.

So why not changing the side? Is it because of not trusting fair play, or is it because of being superstitious, or something else?

You know what, for the longest time about half way through I realize that I misread and what I did read was " I guess many of us that occasionally play ordinals games know this." And I thought to myself casino ordinals? What in the world is that. But then I re-read it and realized I read it wrong and its not ordinals games or casino ordinals its just original games LOL. Now I wonder if there are actually any type of casino related ordinals betting? lol. Probably not. But to comment on the post for real, usually in original dice games I do like to stay on the same side I guess you could call it being superstition or something but I call it being lucky.

My way to think in this is always the same: I have already lost of dozens times by choosing this side, so it can not be possible that the odds are so unfair to me and keep working against me. The next outcome need to be different.
Then come the second thought that keeps me to bet in the same side: what if I switch after so many bets and the outcome finally change? I would never forgive myself for not sticking with it a little longer.

In my case, these two thoughts are what make me stick with the same bet over and over again. I am the type of person who would rather stop play or lose my entire bankroll than switch sides and abandon what that I believe. That is also why, when it comes to sports betting, I place my bets in advance and never change them before or during the game. I stick with them until the very end... I never change them and I never cash out early, I always go to all or nothing!

I do change sides occasionally as my instincts drives me but I don't auto bet. In fact I don't enjoy the auto bet feature because it's less engaging. More like the system having the fun on my behalf. I like doing the thinking, the selection and the staking by myself, the mental engagement and watching results unfold is a big thrill for me. Sticking to a side can bring wins but most times I think my being rigid brings about my loss, so I switch sides as the spirit leads.

I do it all the time... even on autobetting if there are expert settings. I don't play as I used to, but I think I covered almost everything. Chasing low or high multipliers, so many different autobetting strategies, and normal playing.

For example, sometimes I play "normally", but I pay attention to numbers "under 10-20", or over "80-90"... and if I don't see them in a while, I will try to chase them. And I will continue to pay attention to the other side... if it doesn't come, that will be my next move: change sides and chase it.

Past results don't affect the future ones, so in terms of probability, it would be exactly the same to stay on one side as to change constantly or randomly. However, people usually have the belief or superstition that if you keep enough on the wrong side, it will eventually make up for it, in a kind of regression to the mean.

This, in my opinion, leads to nothing more than trying to recoup losses by playing more, so being aware that it doesn't really matter if you switch sides can help you make more realistic decisions when playing.

It seems to me like some kind of illusion. And honestly I've also done this a few times too. I thought, if I change sides this time, maybe the outcome will change. But in the end it's just temporarily convincing my mind.  The funny thing is it reminds me of a childhood habit, back then I used to think that if I didn't look at the screen while the game was loading, maybe the game would load faster. Just as nothing would change in reality changing sides or staying on the same side doesn't change the chances of winning. Still our minds sometimes create such little illusions and we unknowingly start believing them. And in dice games I play with auto bets roll over 90 most of the time.

No point of continuing to gamble when the game its not being in their favour, that is why its important for one to be in charge of their emotions, as they will not bet based on their emotions but can let go at any moment, even if they might be winning or not, this way will help them to stay true to their plans and if they find it unable to control their minds, they can seek for help from therapist or counselor which will give them every help they may need, but before that will happen, they have to be determined about it.

As you mentioned, it's probably superstition, failed psychology, or perhaps simply a misplaced sense of loyalty or sticking with your side. Indeed, if you attached yourself with one side and you switch to another, you'd wonder what if your original pick or side wins? Is it not something you'd regret for not being loyal, or not sticking it out with your side?

I've experienced switching sides many times in gambling. Most of the time, I'd be blamed for suddenly betting on the other when I've already made up my mind earlier to support my original pick.

I think our minds naturally look for explanations and patterns. Even if the outcomes are completely random, we still try to find some kind of logic behind them. And when there isn't one, our brains often create one. That's why I think everyone should play in the way they enjoy most. If you have certain rituals or a specific sequence that makes you feel more comfortable, there's nothing wrong with sticking to it as long as you understand that it doesn't actually change the odds. I do the same. I like following a particular sequence and rarely change it, even though I know it doesn't influence the outcome.

I think it is more of a psychological issue than not trusting fair play. Each flip is completely random, and our brain tends to create some pattern even though there are really none in this game.
I guess it's safe to say that we all have our fair share of experience with this. A losing streak on our original side, then a sudden switch, but we end up losing again because the original side that we normally place a bet on showed up. I think that's just our selective memory playing tricks on us, a defense mechanism, because it already happened in the past, where you stayed on your original side but kept losing because we're waiting for the tables to turn in our favor, so this time we switch sides to stop the bleeding. But then again, the game has no pattern, so I think there's also a mix of superstition here.

Superstitious. Most of the time.

I do the same. Stay on one side, but when it gets to a bad losing streak, I choose the other side. But there's always a high chance that it doesn't end well, and I will probably just regret that I switched sides. This is the reason why I rarely play online original casino games anymore. If I do, I'd rather play Plinko and just let the system decide where the ball will go. At least, there are no sides there, unlike playing dice or other games where there are only 2 choices.
In Plinko, there's only 1 choice. Drop the ball or not. Cheesy
