It depends on what you are looking for browsing on gambling news. Whatever you search for you will get it like I just searched and got that link above but I get your point anyway. Addiction or loss of money won't chase people from gambling.

Well this kind of question has been asked repeatedly and it's obvious that addiction is the reason why people complain and still keep Gambling. It is not always the intention of this people to continue gambling or betting, but after much loses to the casino or betting site, they start gambling aggressively to win back their loses, when you begin to chase big win or trying to recover loses, you will end up seeing yourself gambling over and over against your wish. By then you will realize that you are not doing this by your own will but addiction has taken full control.

Because most gamblers still always hope that instant things can make them change their fate and the thrill of winning is very difficult to avoid so even though there are many negatives including addiction but gambling will continue to be sought after because of that sensation.

I don't see much in the news at all about gambling addiction, apart from an occasional article, so where exactly are you seeing this mass of info that you claim or are you just going by confirmation bias? While there is definitely a problem out there it gets about as much coverage you'd expect in todays world of problems. It is not the only issue out there competing for headline space and in reality is an issue that can be solved by most people by just stopping and regaining self control. It is not a condition that most people will ever encounter, because many people don't bet at all and of those who do, the majority can do it in moderation - it's a rare few that seem to dig themselves a great hole to escape.

Basically, the process of addiction to gambling will be different from each other. I agree that some people become addicted because their interest in gambling is no longer about the fun, but about how they win the money they have spent on gambling itself. But some other people may have their own reasons why they are addicted, one of the most common is because they like the game and want to change the atmosphere of the spectacle to be more exciting (sports games).

In my opinion, the development of technology and easy access to gambling sites is the reason why the gambling industry is currently getting huge public attention. What we must know is that, gambling will continue to become popular and even with the increasing cases of gambling addicts, we still have to come to the reality that people will continue to gamble and a lot of them will still join the list of existing addicted gamblers, so the problem is not about gambling exposure but the individual gamblers sense of responsibility when gambling.

Well, probably because people naturally feel curious to try what others preach against. The more you tell someone don't do this, the more they want to see what the fuss is about. Also, let's be real, most people don't read addiction news and think that could be me!!!. They think usually think like, that's them, not me. I can control it. And the casinos know this. They sell the dream of winning big, not the reality of losing everything. Negative news does not stop gambling because as humans we are stubborn and optimistic. We always believe we will be the lucky one.

Gambling remains popular & more new sites are emerging because the market & user base are still there. I think that's all bros.

The urge to gamble is still very strong so even though there is a lot of skewed news especially for addiction problems but gamblers will still continue to gamble because the urge to continue gambling is still very strong but of course they also think about their own safety so as not to get carried away by addiction which results in them losing everything.

That's why most gamblers especially on forums always mention about limits and responsibilities because they know quitting gambling is very difficult to do but we can still minimize big losses with those limits and responsibilities.
To understand the addiction problem that has occurred for most gamblers it will not be used as a reason to quit but will be used as a reflection so that we do not make the same mistake by not gambling intensely.
