I don't believe we're yet in a bear season. For me, whatever that's happening with price now is as a result of correction or retracement. Price will always return for correction for whatever imbalance it creates. If previous data are anything to go by, bear season should come upon us by end of this 2026 and through 2027. By 2028, another halving event will be upon us and price will begin to kick in and attract investors again. So, there isn't much scare investing in Bitcoin now.

Ask your self, are you trying to buy at low price when bitcoin was hitting all time high, if yes then the time has come.

It’s actually normal seeing a newbie panic, generally panicking is part of investing mostly when you invest outside the line of bitcoin. Cryptocurrency doesn’t give the full assurance to buy the dip, you might be mistaking which is more profitable during times like this and at the end you end up with loss because you invested in some other crypto not bitcoin. Bitcoin dip market is considered one of the best season to accumulate bitcoin, all what an investor needs is buy and hold for the long run waiting for when the dip is over although it’s easier said than done meaning holding takes longer time for example 4-8 years afterwards an investor can consider selling out depending on the market price in order to avoid a loss of profits.

I don't know why I keep hearing people saying that one should invest money they can afford to lose in Bitcoin as if it's some kind of gambling because that statement is and should only be used for things which are like gambling where there are very high or at least equal chances of the person losing their money, but when it comes to Bitcoin investments, as long as the person doesn't sell their assets at a loss, they are not going to lose money because unrealized losses can't be called losses, they become losses only when you sell and make them realized losses, and investors aren't supposed to do that.

Things such as futures and options could cause losses, so one should say that if you are into futures or options, you should only use funds that you can afford to lose because there are high chances of you losing money in these two things, but when it comes to spot and making investments, losses don't occur as long as you are holding, and we can say this because we have seen Bitcoin losing value and then recovering its value over time, which means that any investor that keeps holding, even if they have bought at the top, will eventually get their profits.

Well, if you are actually referring to Bitcoin, its price history can clearly tell you that the dip always return to being bullish after the bear season which causes the price to dip. If you are scared about the market not pumping after a dip, then you can invest with the amount you can afford to risk because I can not guarantee you that the price will actually return. Bitcoin has two season, the bear and bull season, so after a dip season come the season where the price spikes too. I only place value on Bitcoin over any other coin.

DCA method works well only for Bitcoin. DCA method is not satisfactory for any other crypto because over time most cryptocurrencies will decrease in value and there is a risk of losing money. Bitcoin is store of value, and due to price volatility if you can do DCA regularly, you can expect the desired return after a cycle of 4 years or more. And the fact that it "may" drop more, doesn't change the fact that we are going to be higher than today in the future. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in a week, but we all know that it will be higher than today, and it just needs time.
