Answers respected.

I would say that whether to buy during a price drop or not is more important than what your investment plan is. Because no one can say for sure whether today's price is the lowest or tomorrow it will only increase. So buying gradually is a much more realistic way than investing all your money at once. Many people wait for the price to drop and end up not buying anymore, On the other hand some people invest all their money in one day and then get worried. So the middle path seems more reasonable, which is basically the DCA method.

Well, if you are actually referring to Bitcoin, its price history can clearly tell you that the dip always return to being bullish after the bear season which causes the price to dip. If you are scared about the market not pumping after a dip, then you can invest with the amount you can afford to risk because I can not guarantee you that the price will actually return. Bitcoin has two season, the bear and bull season, so after a dip season come the season where the price spikes too. I only place value on Bitcoin over any other coin.
Anyone who is afraid of how the market will turn out, if it will dip or recover or not, should not be putting in even a little money; they should just avoid the market as much as they can because even the little money can be big to them when they see the market dropping and the value of what they acquired is reducing, so they should first focus on learning about the market, and if they are not ready, they should avoid it.

That's the thing, we have seen it crash and peak and crash and peak and crash and peak so many times in a row, and yet people see it crash and they say they have no idea what it will do next. I mean even if it reaches 10k tomorrow, I will still be sure that it will recover and be above the all time high eventually, just give it enough time.

This is why I never wonder about what's going to happen and feel at ease when buying. What else do people need in order to be convinced that bitcoin always recovers eventually? I realize that it may not be a simple thing to risk your money and there is an emotional thing that makes you feel fear. However, you can start small, like a months worth of coffee towards bitcoin, and that will make you feel better on the long run.

It is true that those who are really worried or afraid about the volatility of Bitcoin should not invest in Bitcoin, because the price of Bitcoin is very volatile. It is not possible to make money quickly through investment. You have to buy Bitcoin consistently with a long-term plan and hold it for a long time with confidence and make the most of every opportunity. You should not be disappointed quickly by the volatility of the market. You should hold Bitcoin for a long time with patience. For those who cannot invest consistently for a long time, will be disappointed quickly by the volatility of the market and are not able to hold it for a long time with confidence, Bitcoin investment is very risky.

Of course, it is absolutely wise to accumulate more Bitcoin, because it will never remain in this condition forever. So don't be scared to invest in Bitcoin. Though I think you're still not familiar with how Bitcoin works, if not you would have just done the needful and move on, regardless of the amount.

But it's good that you asked for clarification, because sometimes most new beginners don't usually take time to gather experience, which is why they normally make mistakes in the process.
He lost because he sold too soon maybe he is actually a trader who thinks he can outsmart the market by targetting when the price increase to sell. Bitcoin is volatile so it will definitely go up and down that's why it's better to hodl for long and also accumulate bitcoin with what you can afford to loss, the dip is a good buying time so anytime is a good time to buy as long as there discretionary income is available and ready.
I don't know why I keep hearing people saying that one should invest money they can afford to lose in Bitcoin as if it's some kind of gambling because that statement is and should only be used for things which are like gambling where there are very high or at least equal chances of the person losing their money, but when it comes to Bitcoin investments, as long as the person doesn't sell their assets at a loss, they are not going to lose money because unrealized losses can't be called losses, they become losses only when you sell and make them realized losses, and investors aren't supposed to do that.

Things such as futures and options could cause losses, so one should say that if you are into futures or options, you should only use funds that you can afford to lose because there are high chances of you losing money in these two things, but when it comes to spot and making investments, losses don't occur as long as you are holding, and we can say this because we have seen Bitcoin losing value and then recovering its value over time, which means that any investor that keeps holding, even if they have bought at the top, will eventually get their profits.
Don't get it twisted, because most newbies usually have this feeling that Bitcoin investment is a get-rich-overnight scheme. That's why people always preach that you should only invest what you can afford to lose, because it's a very long-term process, and only this mindset can make it easier for them. So there's not much to the slogan at all.

The most important thing in Bitcoin investment is planning, nothing more than that, because it's a matter of personal decision. Nobody has any right to decide for you.

Yes, buying using the DCA method is one of the best options available to an investor. This has been discussed many times, the reason this method is considered one of the best is that each purchase isn’t based on price, but rather on the available discretionary funds. Of course, this makes the accumulation process more systematic, without having to wait for a price drop, especially since we can’t even be sure whether Bitcoin’s price will actually reach the level we want.

On the other hand, if you want to maximize your investment, you must understand how to manage the cash flow from your income, thereby minimizing sales at a loss due to a lack of proper management.

Its not an easy decision but now is a fair time to buy I think, I would only say not to buy all at once if you are especially worried as price over time is a far better bet then trying to buy into the bottom prices.  There isnt a firm established trend at present but only the idea of recovery.

Today was a doji candlestick on the chart, indecision back and forth but this is no negative due to placement above the 50 day average I remain quite positive on the extended price action.  The best assurance comes after a  test of such bullish formations rather then before but its fair that BTC could rise from here.  ITs certainly a nicer place to buy then prior highs and imo we're much nearer to the lowest prices however its never for certain.

First of all, I assume Bitcoin isn't in the level of "very risky". If we buy during the bearish season and hold until the bullish season, we should earn profits. This has been proven or years. It is just about how the capability of us to hold for few years. However, if we want to earn profits significantly in Bitcoin in a short time, I can agree it is quite risky. Bitcoin won't easily turn to its best price in few weeks or months, it needs few years. Regarding the volatility, it is actually an opportunity for gaining significant profits. Without volatility in price, there will be no significant profits. Those people who are afraid with volatility, they don't understand the advantage of the volatility. Sure, they are better to stay away from Bitcoin investment if they aren't confident with Bitcoin and have no patience.

If you are talking about Bitcoin, then you must have a long-term investment plan. If you rely on coins other than Bitcoin in crypto, then it is natural that you may face losses. The way Bitcoin is gaining acceptance in the world today, you should only rely on Bitcoin and invest here. Most people are dependent on Bitcoin and they invest and achieve something good in the future that comes through their long-term investment. You must hold on to what you invest according to your expectations. If you can deposit money for a long time, you will get good profits from it. Therefore, employ Bitcoin invest to keep your money safe because you will never be disappointed if you invest here.

Sure, within this year, we have seen series of prices that have caused us to make certain assumption that end up not following what we take it to be. wether we are going to experience further price drop than the one we have seen thus far is what we can not tell but there is a simple way one can deal with the fluctuation in bitcoin price such that it does not affect our staying consistent in bitcoin buys.

You can not buy all your intended bitcoin at a time even if this is the perfect time to buy bitcoin. you would need to make your budget such that you are able to remain consistent in building a portfolio that outgrows what a single buy can produce. with the DCA accumulation method, every time is the best time to buy because even when you buy at a relatively high value, you can still buy at other lows which will still balance things up for you in the long run.

I think in today's reality, it's better not to rely on altcoins at all, but only on Bitcoin. Yes, many altcoins are at rock bottom, but what's the point? I'm sure someone will say that Ethereum, for example, has potential, since Bitcoin is buying up Ethereum just like Sailor is buying up Bitcoin. But that doesn't mean anything. What matters is what the masses think, and right now the general narrative is that only Bitcoin has value. The days of altcoins are over, and there's no guarantee they'll return. The ICO boom was a long time ago, and no one expects another. Only Bitcoin, only hold.

It is hard to deny that altcoins are going through one of their worst periods ever. There has been no altcoin ss, and not many of them managed to reach new ATH in the last cycle. However, whether you like it or not, they are part of the crypto industry, and many of them will continue to grow alongside Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is clearly the better choice, but that doesnt mean altcoins will disappear completely. There will always be a group of investors willing to invest in them, and some project will continue to develop and prove their value.

I think demand for altcoin will grow over time as the market goes through a shakeout and the surviving projects become more mature.

There is high tendency for this market to maintain something closed to $67,000 this month and as well we may have a resistance at $70,000 while there is also is strong support at $62,000 we can as well be speculative just to know if this is going to change anything soon or there is going to be more to expect on either side between now and the end of this month either to experience more bullish performance or a bearish one depending on the information seeing on the chart.

The market is currently trending slightly upwards, but we can definitely see some signs of improvement in the Bitcoin price this month. The Bitcoin price could definitely touch $70K, but after some patience, the Bitcoin price has slowed down due to the high selling pressure in the Bitcoin market at the moment.
So, we definitely think that the Bitcoin price will touch between $70K and $75K, but this is in the last quarter of July.

So, we definitely think that the Bitcoin price will touch between $70K and $75K, but this is in the last quarter of July.

That's also a short time to reach $70k. Of course, it's possible, we saw Bitcoin climb back up to $65k, but it also corrected quickly. There's a good chance the price moves up, but I'm not sure it'll hit that target by the end of this month. A price drop can still happen when it gets close to $70k in a short time. I think the upward trend might be more visible in the last quarter of this year.

One need to ask this question because from my last post I complain lost much on btc and to be guided on this crypto journey.
Considering the fact that many people have lost this period do you still consider it wise to buy the dip?

How do you mean many people has already lost this period?  And the only people that lost this period are people who don't actually know what they are doing in the Bitcoin space. And when we talk about loss in Bitcoin, it will only or should only be channeled to traders because they are the people who play with the market all the time and  if someone analysis or speculation is not correct they will surely make loss that is trading but I'm sure if you are investing you don't need all these drama.

For such people my advice for them is for them desist in such practice unless they are planning to go into trading. I don't see any reason why someone that is planning to holding bitcoin for a long term should not be disturbed or worried about how the market is actually doing. It is only those that is trying to outsmart the market by trying to speculate the price of bitcoin in other to know when it is favourable for them to buy and when they will sell are the ones that is supposed to be afraid.

It is very easy to say but very hard to actually put it into practice. Bitcoin has been moving very tricky at some kind of pace not expected of it. It has come very far to reach the stage they are now and everything has been so plainly seen on how it transpires around. This should be used as one of the reference point to make use of for newbies on how they should foresee the market and react in those manners.

This is not a two sided view investment, everything is clear and one doesn’t need an extra convince to belive in this currency. Investing in bitcoin is pathway to many things but those still lacking to see it, will one time also face the consequences of it and see the reality of giving Bitcoin another perception and not taking action on them immediately.

All of those questions will be answered eventually when the market has fully recovered.
But before that happens, make sure that you own some and you did it during the bear market.
You'll feel sorry for yourself if you're not going to do it right now because others are quietly accumulating.
And when you're done doing it, you'll have to answer those questions on your own based on your experience.

When setting out for a long term investment, then the investor should be prepared to deal with every market condition. What a long term investor should be more worried about isn’t the market conditions but on how they can figure a discretionary income for themselves to buy bitcoin at any market price because they can’t control how the market moves but they can only control their finances and by controlling their finances I mean they have to invest with the amount they can comfortably let go and won’t be needing any time soon which means they have to make sure to attend to their basic needs first before investing In bitcoin so that they won’t be needing the money back anytime soon. The DCA method will help such investors to invest according to their financial capabilities and hold for long term gains.
