Well, if someone thinks of it as savings and will probably not even move it or exchange it for a long time, then I think there's no need to understand the cash flow.

Instead of keeping the money in the piggy bank, it can be bought for Bitcoin and let the value increase. Imagine if you are that someone who bought at an early age and, up until now, kept his Bitcoin secured in his wallet. Then, I bet he will say to himself he did a good thing deciding to buy Bitcoin.
Cash flow is for the daily budget. It's the savings allocation that an investor should think about. If long-term, there must be another portion for another savings for emergencies. We cannot just put everything in Bitcoin and end up with nothing to pull from our pockets.

When discussing Bitcoin, we often focus on the price. Is the price low or high now, is there a dip coming, is it better to buy now or should we wait? These are natural questions. But I think a more important question for an ordinary investor is: How much money can I actually spend to accumulate Bitcoin for a long time, so that I don’t have to sell it halfway through?

How much money you can invest in Bitcoin investment will depend entirely on your ability, invest in Bitcoin with the amount of money you can afford to lose. There is no set rule on how much money you have to invest in Bitcoin, you can earn benefits on Bitcoin with the amount of money you buy Bitcoin with. If you have more ability, then of course you can use more money for investment, if you keep it for a long time, you can definitely benefit.

Because Bitcoin can be a strong asset in the long run, but its price is very volatile in the short run. If someone buys Bitcoin with the money they need, they are actually adding the risk to their personal life along with the market risk. If the price drops, they may become stressed, and if an emergency arises, they will have to sell at a loss. Then the problem is not with Bitcoin, but with the investor’s plan.

If you invest in Bitcoin and want to hold it for the long term, then you should definitely follow some strategies. Creating an emergency fund, if you create an emergency fund next to your Bitcoin investment, it will definitely protect your Bitcoin investment. Because there will be a need where you can be free from danger with that emergency fund against any odds, then it will be easier to sustain your Bitcoin investment for a long time.
And if you sometimes think about buying Bitcoin, then you can also buy dips in the Bitcoin market from the emergency fund.

Cash flow is for the daily budget. It's the savings allocation that an investor should think about. If long-term, there must be another portion for another savings for emergencies. We cannot just put everything in Bitcoin and end up with nothing to pull from our pockets.
Cashflow management means how to balance your income and expenditure in order to figure out your discretionary income rightly for investment. There's much need for a person to understand his cashflow management to be able to survive in bitcoin investment. This is because if a person understands his cashflow he will be able to decide to which extent he can last before his next income. This is important because it will guide you not to invest beyond your power so that you can have an available fund to take care of yourself and your family. It is when you have a good cashflow management that you will be able to hold your bitcoin for a long and not sell it off after making a financial mistake that puts you into unnecessary financial pressures. Going for a long term investment means that a person must have made arrangements for emergency situations and other basic responsibilities. By so doing, your bitcoin will be well protected and you won't also stress yourself financially.

IMO, it still needs someone who likes not to touch it. We often touch our savings when there are some things that we need to pay for, and we have no allocated budget for it. So, it's possible that we're going to sell it despite that we think of holding it in the long term.

If you invest in Bitcoin and want to hold it for the long term, then you should definitely follow some strategies. Creating an emergency fund, if you create an emergency fund next to your Bitcoin investment, it will definitely protect your Bitcoin investment. And if you sometimes think about buying Bitcoin, then you can also buy dips in the Bitcoin market from the emergency fund.
This is exactly the reason why we have the emergency funds. But the mistake of some holders is that they intend to use their bitcoin holdings or savings as their emergency fund. What they think of is to spend it whenever they have to. Well, to each their own but long term holders understand more of this situation and those who are looking forward to the more valuable price for bitcoin.

Investing in Bitcoin should be used free money from the needs so you don't have to sell Bitcoin if you need money. So that means you should calculating and knowing the money you need for your monthly and the left money you have so you can use it to buy Bitcoin. If you have free money then you should care about discipline because investing in Bitcoin using DCA means you should continue buying until the time reach. You made it very clear, and I think it's necessary for us to always have this mindset when venturing into Bitcoin investment. Especially for new beginners, because they always have this feeling of getting rich quick through Bitcoin investment. That's exactly why most of them end up halfway.

Investing money in Bitcoin should always be money that you plan for future purposes and not the money that would need urgently, because Bitcoin investment requires a long-term process before you would be able to achieve your goals.

If the price drops, they may become stressed, and if an emergency arises, they will have to sell at a loss. Then the problem is not with Bitcoin, but with the investor’s plan.

Friend, you said it well, Bitcoin is unstable, so the price fluctuates very quickly, that's why people may have various questions about investing in Bitcoin, when should we invest, when should we not, when will the price of Bitcoin increase or decrease, whether we will be profitable in the future, etc. It is undoubtedly a natural thing for a person to have questions about Bitcoin. Therefore, before investing, it is very important for us to gain basic knowledge about Bitcoin. When we have basic knowledge about Bitcoin, we can free ourselves from these questions. If we are not interested in learning about Bitcoin ourselves, then we will never be able to accept it from our hearts through the words of others. We can never think about the truth of the words. I believe that knowledge can bring solutions to all the questions of people.

To start investing in Bitcoin, an investor does not need to have much knowledge about Bitcoin. In the beginning, basic knowledge of Bitcoin is enough. In addition, a lot of cash is not needed. After completing all the necessary requirements, the investor can use the remaining money that an investor can lose to purchase Bitcoin. As a result, there will be no additional financial pressure on the investor. Bitcoin can be purchased with discipline and consistency and can be held for the long term. So I think a person does not need to have much knowledge or keep an eye on cash to start investing in Bitcoin. To hold Bitcoin for the long term, it is important for the investor to have a emergency fund for three months so that no matter how bad the situation is, the investment can be managed with discipline and gradually reach its goal.

When investor understand the risk that can be attached to crypto investments, they will not want to use all the money they have to invest in Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin can go to any length and it's not something we need to hope on making quick profits from so the money can be use for other bills that can be hanging on our neck. We should always have the mindset to invest when we have extra fund we don't need to use presently.

If a person has a plan to invest in Bitcoin, then he must first decide on the investment period. When someone decides to invest for a short period of time, the investment will not bring much profit for him, but there is a possibility of loss due to market volatility. And when that person is interested in making his investment plan for a long time, then his chances of loss are low and if he can hold on for a long time, then there is a possibility of getting high returns from here. We know that there is volatility in the market and investment is risky in every case and those who are ready to take risks are the ones who are influenced towards success. However, those who wait for the market price to fall and wait for it to fall further later never have the mindset to invest. Rather, investing can be done from any position in the market if it is a long-term plan.

That's right, bitcoin investment is a
a savings plan, it's an investment for a long term, any money you're using in bitcion should have nothing to do with your business capital or savings, any more for bitcoin investment is for a life time plan, that's how you can end more profit in bitcoin.

If you use your capital to invest in bitcoin you will later join those that see bitcoin as a scam project,  that's the fact,  bitcoin market is volatile,  you can never predict the outcome,  we can only speculate the price. The assurance is that if you hodl your bitcoin for long,it will be yield huge result.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin, you need to understand your cash flow first,
Rational and reasonable speculation, sometimes crypto users' desire to invest in Bitcoin is very large, but most do not see the financial flow itself, so it will become a phenomenon of investment flow and withdrawal flow.

I mean today invest in Bitcoin, sell tomorrow, such a strategy is bad speculation in the Bitcoin investment system, for that reason, consider financial inflow, after the cash flow situation is under control, then set aside a percentage to invest, Fulfill basic needs first so that there is no overlap in the expenditure and income sectors.
You need to understand that investing in crypto is good, but also consider the cash flow consequences that occur every month, to facilitate your investment strategy.

Sometimes when I read comments like this that acknowledged bitcoin investment to be with money that is free or money you don't have any need for, is quite surprising because there is never money that you don't have need for, you can place priority on what to do with money but there is never free money anywhere.

Bitcoin investors should only use money that are at their decretionry income, meaning money that they have put down for a very long period of time, not emergency fund's, not money for family bills, but discretionary income should be the capital investment for bitcoin.

It's very important to consider your cash flow and also make proper plans before delving into bitcoin investment, because these are the most important thing to do before thinking of investing in bitcoin. Like the OP mentioned bitcoin price is very volatile in the short term, but can be very profitable in a long-term.  I really think that before you consider investing in bitcoin, you should have a steady income, because with a steady income you can easily make plans on your daily expenses,  emergency fund and discretionary funds that you can use for your bitcoin investment.  Like I always say it's the consistency in your purchase of bitcoin that really matters, rather than the amount you are able to purchase.  So I really think if you have a steady income and a proper plan, you will be able to invest in bitcoin accumulation for a long period of time and you will not have to sell it half way, which hopefully you will definitely make profit in the long run.

Because Bitcoin can be a strong asset in the long run, but its price is very volatile in the short run. If someone buys Bitcoin with the money they need, they are actually adding the risk to their personal life along with the market risk. If the price drops, they may become stressed, and if an emergency arises, they will have to sell at a loss. Then the problem is not with Bitcoin, but with the investor’s plan.

Before investing in Bitcoin, we plan in many ways, especially depending on the fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin, many people wait for investment. When the price of Bitcoin is high in the market, many people wait for it to decrease, and when the price falls, many are afraid to invest. However, in my opinion, if you have a long-term plan to invest, then you must collect cash. In that case, you can start with $500--$1000 at the beginning, especially I would advise you to do DCA. Since you are planning for a long time, it is very necessary to create an emergency fund before your investment, it will help you during market volatility. Moreover, if you can continue to invest continuously using the DCA strategy with the money you have saved, you can earn a lot of profits in the future. You have to accept that there is risk in investment because you can never be successful without taking risks, in that case, if you want to invest in Bitcoin, you have to take risks and follow a long-term plan.

You will sell your Bitcoin halfway if you don't have a reliable source of income, you will sell your Bitcoin halfway if you don't save some money aside for emergency purposes, it's not all about just buying Bitcoin, there are things that will come up.

This is why it's better to always use funds that are considered leftover until next salary comes for investments into Bitcoin, it's safer this way, do not buy Bitcoin with the money that you might need later.

Lack of investment knowledge is why people just throw every money they can get into Bitcoin, sustainability is the key to long term holding, if you end up with financial problems later you will start selling your Bitcoin with your hands.

I've been there and I can tell how that felt like, DCA strategy is the only thing that works conveniently.

Unless someone has a regular income or finds a way to earn enough while employed, it may not be feasible or easy for them to continue buying Bitcoin for a long time or to invest for 4-10 years or more. Otherwise, they may have to invest from their savings, i.e., their reserved funds, which may run out if they do not have enough regular income to support the funds used to buy Bitcoin. Sometimes, some people do not have enough regular income, but if they do not get a higher paying job, they have to be content with what they have and find ways to increase their income so that they have additional income with which they can invest in Bitcoin. This will enable them to build and maintain their Bitcoin collection for 4-10 years or more. Sometimes this period is 10 years or more, because it takes a long time to build a Bitcoin collection. We should consider Bitcoin as a type of lifetime investment, for which we need to maintain a certain amount of Bitcoin holdings. And if we can build our Bitcoin holdings to a good enough size through a continuous buying strategy, that's even better. Unless we have the ability to invest a large sum of money in Bitcoin investing at the beginning, which would be a good thing for those people who are able to invest their Bitcoin at the beginning. Starting with discretionary funds makes it difficult for many individuals to get into a position where they can consistently invest more than 10% of their income in Bitcoin.

Looking into my past experience and how I got here today it's not just about how much one is making or can afford to invest in Bitcoin, some people are making good amount of money every month and they let bitcoin got into their head, to the extent that they are risking way to much on bitcoin, like someone who is making $500 monthly and he is putting $400 into Bitcoin only to survive on $100, if you ask them they will say they can afford to lose that money, it's a lie, because $400 isn't even half of their income, it is the FOMO in their head doing the talking for them, after source of income, a responsible way of investing comes next, one must put aside money for bad days too, like emergency purposes, for someone who is making 500 every month I don't expect them to risk more than $250 in investment.

In reality any business you are involved in will have risks. If you can adopt a tolerant approach keeping that risk in mind, you will be able to succeed in that business. Consider the matter in the same way in the case of Bitcoin investment and use an amount of funds that are worth losing for a risk tolerant strategy. Invest with a smaller amount of funds than the amount you have financially.

It is natural for Bitcoin to have negative and positive effects on you separately when its price decreases or increases, and it is important to be mentally prepared at every stage.

You are right that investing in Bitcoin with your daily required money is not the right decision because there is a risk of its value decreasing in the future and you are afraid of losing your capital. Therefore, the necessary risk tolerant strategy is to buy Bitcoin with extra funds and accumulate Bitcoin regularly through discretionary income.

Those people investing with $400 out of their monthly or weekly $500 income i wonder if they don’t have basic financial obligations which they should sort out or not. Although, most investors don’t really have basic needs to sort out as even if they do have basic needs, they are not likely the ones to take care of such needs, could be their parents or anyone else. What matters most is that the said $400 is their discretionary income and if not then i think they’re making a serious financial mistake by investing with over 90% of their weekly or monthly income.

This is actually an already established fact that Bitcoin investment is not something that people should rush into, with giving due attention to their financial situations and standards. This is where people talk about financial planning which is key to every successful investor, because investing in Bitcoin requires one to carefully study how his cash flow works in the month. This means that an investor should be able to sit down and write down his expenses, with the view to marking out funds that will be used in investing.

Discretionary funds has always been advised to be used when ever , we are talking about Bitcoin. Bitcoin as an asset is unique and different from other assets, because it has been discribed to be volatile. This means that it not a stable asset, so to be on the safer side when investing always use money that you have no immediate use of, because if you use money that you may use later . You may be disappointed.

So at every month investors should count the cost of running a home and removes expenses, money ment for any necessary things and only use money that you know that, you don't too much have in need.
