If this were the script, then they laid it out in the open. Well, Spain and England aren't that easy to beat for both of these teams in the elimination games after all, and they have to win it first. Not doubting it will happen, but as was said, there was no mention that it was the World Cup or that it was the year 2026, there have been numerous games that have happened between these two nations in the past.

There could be a chance that it will happen and we will see that.

I've never believed in Simpsons predictions. In fact, I've come across several debunking videos where people showed how many of these so-called predictions were manipulated or taken out of context, and that a lot of them simply aren't true. That's why I'm very skeptical about them. I think most of these "predictions" are fake, and the small number that did seem to come true were nothing more than coincidences. So I definitely wouldn't trust Simpsons when it comes to predicting the outcomes of sporting events.

Now both of them are eliminated, the thing was probably just this year as well when they played for Friendlies I guess haha. Congrats to those who really do the opposite or countering that prediction you'll probably be eating steak tonight. People will find another theory to debunk I guess and let the drama continues for this World Cup.

However, it's not that they are always correct, maybe they hit before but it doesn't mean that they can see the future or at least those producer and script writer. So it's over now and maybe they will start with their new predictions again.

You're right, let this thread be locked even mexico has been eliminated by England, this thread isn't necessarily again, I'm pained because Ronaldo has left the world cup, it hurts me so much, I wanted him to win this world cup, he will be without a world cup but it changes nothing, he has contributed his quota in this world of football and he has nothing to prove to the world or his hatreds .

Simpson's is one of the most entertainment cartoon I keep watching before and they are really famous when it comes to the event happenings so imagine they created the scenes years past by and its currently happening so some of them are really like base on the cartoons so this is the reason why some of the people believe with this prediction but actually its a chance of probability well but on the matches of Mexico vs Portugal last March its just a friendly matches between them ended up both of scores 0-0 but they really perform well this upcoming event Mexico ended up a 2-0 against Ecuador but sadly lose against England the same story happen with Portugal they win against Crotia in a 2-1 score both round 32 but lose against spain in just a 1-0 score.

Well, historically the simpsons have been right abut so many things, it's actually scary.

There are +800 episodes of Simpsons that last for +20min. Each episodes if full of random gags and life moments. During 1 minute of cartoon 1-3 life moments are shown. That is minimum of 16k random life moments or "prediction" as people try to say. Not a coincidence that some of them match real life events. Just suppose you are to make price predictions, but they dont need to be 100% accurate, you only need to predict correctly by hundreds (lets say it will be enough to predict that price today of Bitcoin will be 63.1k-63.5k). I think you will need less than 1k prediction tries to predict correctly Bitcoin price next month. But that won give you a status of "predictor" to scare people with your accuracy

Yeah, thanks man. I missed the part about Mexico and focused on Portugal. These predictions really are fun if it's coming from Simpsons as it's very controversial and a lot of them really became into reality. But on this one, world cup results are unpredictable.

Do you really think that this was a serious prediction? Such outlandish claims act as clickbait and attract a lot of hype. On the other hand, if someone predict a final between Argentina and Spain, or between France and England, I really doubt whether it will generate this much hype (already there are 131 posts in this thread). I never take these sort of unscientific claims seriously. BTW, I have never watched this series (Simpsons), and this is the first time I am hearing someone talking about the episode that was broadcast back in 1997. IMO, this is just a crazy coincidence rather than any sort of prediction.

Who would be in the right frame of their mind bet based on the prediction of a cartoon show? But yes, in any case, they have predicted a good team in the first place. So if it hit then obviously we can call them genius or can really see the future.

But the writing is on the wall that they have pick a higher rank team. So it's a win win for them. For sure, if there are supposedly records of the mimicking the future specially about Trump, but there are a lot of missed prediction from them as well.

no one would take a TV cartoon seriously, since they put out information at random just to entertain and make a show.

The segment in the 1997 episode does not mention the year 2026, nor does it make reference to the FIFA World Cup.

You have said well, since the Portugal is no more in the world cup, it will be better the thread should be locked. Portugal has not really done well lately in the World Cup tournaments. They were beaten bye Morocco eliminated from the world cup and now again Spain has eliminated them again. And the way they are playing, there is no hope for them even the 2030 World Cup. If a National Team is not doing well, there two possible things to do. Change the head coach and reshuffle the management. D. Costa, C. Ronaldo are good playees and few others are good but the instructions from the coach caused the loss.

This cartoon talks about some potential things and some of the possibilities have been found to be true. Some things are just stories. There is no correct rule or formula for predicting the future. It is just a false belief of people. But the Simpsons show proves that if you use people's beliefs to do something, it can be easily implemented in the world's number one training. This is just a means of increasing views. The more people talk about these predictions, the more views and engagement the cartoon company will get. This cartoon deals with and predicts events in the world based on certain probabilities. Many people are Ronaldo fans, so it's no surprise they put Portugal in the final. I don't know where Mexico came from. It would have been a bit more exciting if the predictions had lasted a little longer. The predictions were so bad that the process ended too early.
