Stake.com System Error! Rejected Bet Approved Later and My Balance is Gone €652

It’s not a huge sum of money, but the way they’ve handled it is very disrespectful. I had plans to bet large sums once the leagues resumed, but I think if stake.com doesn’t resolve this issue, I’ll carry on with my plans at another company. I reckon there are just a few lads on live support and they’re the ones replying. Live support hasn’t even bothered to reply to me since yesterday.

If it remain some minutes to the beginning of the matches and the browser refreshes, you can select the matches easily within few minutes, but the problem is that you might not know the matches offhand which can make it difficult and take longer. But if I know the matches, I will still be able to select it very fast. The one I do not see again will be found under live matches and if they have not scored, the odd will be high than before the match started.

Stake is a good site but the refresh issue needs to be solved or stake customers are not complaining?

Hah! I didn't know it happened to others, too. It only happened to me just once, but I am glad I double-checked it. Sometimes it's not really Stake's problem, but it could be your internet connection. Mine was like that. Bet rejected, but I always look at my balance. Since my balance was different, it means the bet went in. I only blamed my internet connection back then because it was really slow. So, I refreshed the page and saw my bet was active.
Once you press the "Place Bet" button, you will always have to check if it went in. It's your money, you always have to protect it.

So what are you complaining about? Wasn't that your bet in the first place?
If it won? Will you still be posting this issue?

Of course I have also used stake.com and when I experienced that it hit me very hard as I wasn't able to meet up selecting back those matches before they go live. I have this local betting site where if you leave the selected matches for days it would be there for you without even disappearing from the slip, but when you mostly see that happening regularly on a site you trust too well you may not found it interesting anymore because that could be giving you double work IMO.

 I’d refreshed the page and the situation hadn’t changed. Your problem isn’t the same as mine. I have a very fast internet connection and I’m not having any issues with it. In fact, just to be sure, I logged out of the site and logged back in. The bet wasn’t active and my balance was still there. I don’t know what I’d have done if I’d won. I can’t comment on things that haven’t happened.

Sorry for the ill treatment. The casino representative would have handled the situation more professionally instead of mocking you or banning your account. They would have sought ways to find common ground instead of attracting this bad publicity.

Stake is known to be a reputable casino and It's strange that they can just accept this error and compensate you accordingly. Your complaint might make them lose some prospective patrons. If this case is not resolved, I suggest you move to another casino.

stake.com isn’t helping in any way to resolve my issue. My trust in this company has been completely shattered.

Do you check your active bets after the error occur or you just close your account thinking everything was not processed?

There might be an error on their display but the fact that you placed that bet is your own decision. So what if the bet won? Also, how can you prove that there’s truly an error on your place bet while there’s no active bet going through after the error occur?

The money had been refunded to my account, and the bet had been rejected. But when I closed the page, they activated the bet a short while later. It’s a complete scam. Unfortunately, I have no proof.

The problem is there’s no evidence supporting your claim while Stake support doesn’t acknowledge this error. @Ahoybrause is right that it’s your word against their word since there’s no clear proof that this problem actually exists.

I don’t blame you for not taking screenshots since funds was refunded the last time you check before you logout but if I’m on this situation then I will check too the active bets page just to make sure it doesn’t place successfully.

It’s a long shot case, but maybe you can try to seek first Askgamblers or Casinoguru because they might request Stake for your account history bet log that shows an error occur?

I get error normally at times if it has been long that I have access the site, and the error will show that I should refresh and get solved immediately after I refresh the browser. I have gotten the error long term ago. But when I access Staked often it will load fast.

Another error I noticed I had recently was last week when I wanted to withdraw money, it was not going. I waited for 2 minutes and I tried it and it worked.

The one complained about on this thread's topic is strange to me but it can happen. It could be that there was an error, but the bet was placed, but maybe he did not check but think the bet was not placed.

Your case is too complicated, to the point where you were blocked by Stake.com, even though we know this casino has a good reputation. I've never experienced any issues here, and even minor issues can be resolved through customer service.

Yes, I've experienced this on stake.com and not just on stake.com I've seen it happen on other casinos too.

The difference is that I know the bet can still go through even if I get an error message saying it wasn't placed or bet rejected. Because of that, I never leave the casino immediately after placing a bet. I always check my active bets first to make sure whether it actually went through or not.

This is definitely something I can relate with. Most times, I try to refresh and even place same bet again just to be sure. If I’m not allowed then I realize instantly that the formal and gone through. There can be these type of glitch on gambling sites often but, the singular way around it has always being not having to rely on the error message but, to refresh site and check the bet slip if there are any and if none, you can go ahead to place bet or logout of the site. Confirming balance without having to refresh the site doesn’t fix nothing here, the bet can be approved and network makes it look as though it wasn’t.

I’ve been betting for 20 years. I’m no amateur. Stake.com has literally stolen my money, and the representative in the chat, called Lazar, isn’t replying to me. He’s literally making a mockery of me. It's a bit odd to see that a bed was rejected and later accepted though.

How could there be proof of this from the player's side?
I think at least you should post on the scam accusations board with any proof you have like for instance even a bet ID.

Hopefully a stake representative would come here and clear things up. If the bet was indeed initially rejected on their system they should at least admit to that.

If that happened opening a case with their support people can help you get your balance back. It is very strange for a bet to be processed after a user has logged out of the platform as this logging out clearly stops all activity on the platform for this user so no balance should have been touched. It is long ago that I don't play at Stake as they refuse to reinstate my account after I asked for indefinite ban and it is two years since then but most probably not only Stake, also other casinos should give back to user balance if the user is saying the truth.

Mine was not in stake but I have experienced a similar scenereo. Mine was when I wanted to play after setting the about on the game, I clicked play and immediately I got error and the amount I place for the game disappeared but my capital was intact but this your case is different which you said even the balance in your account disappeared. There is something wrong somewhere, contact them from all the channels to verify the issue.

The live support team isn’t even replying to me. The last thing they said was, ‘It doesn’t matter where you post this or who you complain to.’ I reckon Stake is run by teenage kids. Be careful.

I have been noticing a lot of things breaking with Stake. They had an issue with deposits and withdraws just a few days ago, and it appears its a frequent issue.

In earlier days we could talk to dusan/darko in chat and they would actually solve sports issues, myself got refunded 200-300$ on system issues , but now support is just copy paste human bots

My suggestion is to try to get this some traction on X and tagging eddie. He is a busy busy man but maybe he does something
