As an investor it's advisable to keep emergency funds to ensure that your Bitcoin asset management is done to the utmost, however there could be circumstances that emergency funds won't or might not be enough to handle the matter at hand whether a mistake or totally unforseen and uncontrollable happening. A very debilitating situation that the thinking of selling Bitcoin holding is already part of the options.
Under such conditions what will you do between selling your Bitcoin, borrowing money and selling other belongings etc.
This is a very important and very real issue; in fact, I'm sure it's happened to many people. Personally, I would use all available options, such as credit cards, applying for special financing through the bank, and try to find a way to avoid touching my BTC investment.
If all other options are closed or impossible, I would consider taking out a loan. But why? If I borrow money in fiat currency, I go into debt in that currency. If I sell my BTC, I would lose much more than money; I would lose the effort, dedication, and the value they could represent in the future.
I would exhaust all my financial resources to avoid touching my BTC investment, as it has great potential. Just thinking about the possibility of touching that investment and, by chance, BTC experiencing a significant rise in the short term would be even more painful.
However, if there is no other option, I would have to withdraw a portion of my BTC investment, with all the pain that entails, if the emergency demands it, but that would be the last resort.
