Maybe they might receive more complaints once Trump's terms end. Maybe for now he's immune for those lawsuit, but when he don't have power people will chase them towards bad faith they experience from investing on their memecoins.

Many people provably learn their lessons and this indicate that even if the memecoin is backed with powerful personality on earth, it will still end up as scam.

Did you know what that should be concerning? It is just like gambling as those that are losing money are ²/₃ or more of those that are making money from the meme coins. I believe there will be coin projects that the developers will make 90% of the money. I have seen wallets that 80% of the coins of the the addresses funded are belonging to the developers. Yes many people will still be greedy of these shit coins even if known to them that it is gambling.

That's because Trump and his team knows how to play the game. They're in it for the money while the investors think that they hit the jackpot. I remember that one interview of Trump that he's asked if he knew how much his meme coin made in just 24 hours. He's got no idea but that's a lot of millions there.

I don't know why, but from the beginning I have not been a fan of any meme coins. One time I had traded Doge and made some profits as well. After that, I have been staying away from the meme coins. Right now I only invest in the top coins only; those are ranked at least in the top ten. Because I have learnt a costly lesson by trading and holding shitcoins. I really don't want to repeat the same mistake again and lose more funds.

Regarding Trump coins, I wasn't interested from the beginning. Because I really don't like to be involved with memes and Trump coins, even though I saw some people make money. I am replying here because today this Trump coin news is reflected in my news feed. So far we can see only Trump made money and other investors lost big funds.

Most gamblers continue to gamble even after losing repeatedly. Why should we be surprised that memecoin investors have no regrets and would continue to invest if another overhyped memecoin comes along?

Investing in memes is no different from gambling, and those investors are no different from gamblers.

By the way, now we know why Trump became a president who supported cryptocurrency. He acted more for personal gain than out of genuine belief in or support for cryptocurrency, as he claimed.

Difference is that good, undervalued meme coins can actually bring you money if you invest at the right time. Overvalued tokens carrying a name of one of the most horrible person and notorious sex criminal might not have that same "aww" effect of being cute, and meme like shiba-inu or doge.

What i have learned from these is that people never learn. During next cycle (if there's a next cycle), people keep keep supporting scams, horrid people and invest to scams and meme coins over and over again, just like in every freaking cycle. Actually even more so, as there are even less consequences for scammers and less protection of investors because of deregulation.

Do you think many people will still learn their lesson about memecoin? Let another memecoin be launched by any other influential person, you will see how these same people who lost their money in the Trump coin will forget about their losses and rush to invest in memecoins.

I think, this is a repeated attitude by those who are looking for quick profits from memecoin. They will hardly give up on investing in memecoin. That's why I don't feel pity for those who choose to invest in memecoin despite learning them as pump and dump coins, but they still go ahead to invest.

So many investors failed to realize that memes are developers' and whales' cash cows, they have no use case, they are narrative-based, and it works like a Ponzi Scheme where the early ones who get in and dump at the right time are going to make money while those who are gullible and just waiting for the price to pumpare the ones who are left behind and lose money, HODL do not exist in memes, you have to dump it at the right time to make profit.

One thing with these memecoins is that their devs are always making profit from the people that invested on their projects while, the investors run at loss. It's one side which is very bad and it shows that the coin was never created to benefit investors but to get money from them.

These investors haven't lost anything yet, they will see their investment go down to zero if Trump steps out from office. It's not making any sense to me to call memecoin an investment.

There are lot of such lessons in crypto world but the bitter fact is that people are not willing to learn anything from such events. Today I was reading about ANSEM memecoin on another forum, it has cheap price at the time of launch and has gone up in price in very short duration. My views about that memecoin is that since it has gone up in price now more people will invest in that memecoin and result will be same as it was in Trump coin.

Ultimately, there was no strong use case, technological innovation, or long-term ecosystem to be expected. It was just a memecoin, and a large part of its value was based on the hype surrounding the name Trump. The hype was short-lived. A memecoin's dependence on the popularity of a famous politician, singer, or other individual makes it even more fragile. As long as the interest lasts, the price rises when the interest wanes, often nothing of fundamental value remains.

I always told everyone to stay away from the meme coins especially from the Solana meme coins after I lost money in those meme coins. The Solana meme coins are mostly manipulated and those who invest in such coins are just throwing their money at fire in hope to get 10x to 100x return but they don't understand that how much manipulation is present in those meme coins. Everyone should learn some lessons from those people and they should never put any money in meme coins.
