Injuries like this happens both off pitch and in pitch or even on the fans club section, player's often time push their body to the limit and involving themselves in an unplanned and off pitch Injuries that effects match and even they careers, incidents like this point out more reasons why clubs need to invest so much on Injuries prevention and limited athletes activities to under strick guidelines to avoid plan and unplanned Injuries.

I think it was a catastrophically ridiculous incident, because the player jumped over the boards awkwardly, landed on his hands, and broke his arm. Now he'll miss the rest of the World Cup because of it. And I can easily imagine that he could also miss the start of the new club season.

However seeing such incidents makes one thing even more clear players not only provide entertainment but also take great risks with their bodies in every match, So when an unexpected accident occurs, we have nothing to do but accept it as part of the game and wish them a speedy recovery.

Firefighters, nurses, logging workers, pilots, soldiers, steel workers, sanitation workers. Repairing elevators is more dangerous than being a football player.

You think that just from what players put on the line compared to other people, they deserve to make 50 times the money of a normal human being on average? It depends on the league, but 50 times is on the lower bound. But I a happy for you that you feel enlightened. Hope you get better soon.

Well I’m sure it must be really entertaining and fun to watch firefighters put out a fire, or nurses tending to patience or maybe pilots flying a plane. I’m sure the world gathers together to watch such an exciting event right?

I think you’re missing my point. I never said players are paid so much because their job are riskiest or they are riskier than other jobs, I said they put in so much on the line to entertain the world, or would you like me to rephrase that so you can understand what I’m really trying to say. You should try to understand what someone is trying to say before you jump in making totally off topic arguments okay?

I also put a lot of risk on the line. If I work bad a lot of customers will be unsatisfied, angry and maybe not entertained I dont get paid even close to what football players receive. If I was as clumsy as this guy, fell down at work and break arm, while celebrating end of working day, I think my persona will be soon considered to be fired That is ridiculous how some of football players act. Clumsy, stupid, lazy, boring, arrogant. With the amounts they are paid, they must doing everything to show their best performance, train as hard as possible, do everything to please fans. Instead they walk nose and head high, ignore fans, get stupid injuries or fake them, just not to perform and sit on the bench.

I also remembered something happened to Neuer, it was in 2022. Neuer also suffered a compound fracture his leg, when he went skiing. Because of that, he was also out of action for, I think, six months or more. So, these things happen in professional sports too.

What was he doing all through the game, even though he wasn’t playing on the pitch but this is the major reasons why you see coaches putting out players who are on the bench to go and do some warm up on the sidelines. Many players will think they are just warming up for nothing because at the end they still won’t be thrown into the pitch to play. I think players warming up is good especially for this kind of situation so that they  can also get to free up and stretch their body which I believe could partly play a role in the incident that happened to Henderson. He probably might have been sitting quietly all through the game watching and just the moment he hurriedly stood up to Jump, ran and celebrate with his team mate in the final whistle his legs and other parts of his body couldn’t move quickly and something of this nature could happen. I’m not saying this was the reason for the injury but something like this could happen . Jordan Henderson have had his time with the English national team even though he’s not playing regularly now, he was selected for his experience and leadership qualities off and on the pitch. All the same I wish him a quick recovery.

But the truth is that, there’ll always be staffs who would act clumsy at work, and some do this because their reputation and qualifications precedes them, even if they’re fired, they could always land themselves another good (if not better) job, so they don’t really lose at the end of the day lol.

But the truth is that, there’ll always be staffs who would act clumsy at work, and some do this because their reputation and qualifications precedes them, even if they’re fired, they could always land themselves another good (if not better) job, so they don’t really lose at the end of the day lol.

It was just a bad day for this guy, I understand when you get called up to play for the national team and you've worked hard for it all season, it's a great achievement. But we all have dark days when a streak of bad luck follows us. He came to the World Cup, but didn't even play a single match, and he managed to break his arm. I think it's a big disappointment for him because he's missing the entire tournament. I thought it would be really funny if England were to win, and he could become a world champion who broke his arm and didn't play a single match.

Of course, this is simply absurd for a professional player, whether it's football or any other sport, because every athlete has spent countless hours trying to achieve great results in their career, and such absurd injuries are devastating and can even have a serious psychological impact on the player, for example, causing severe depression, after which the player will not want to do anything at all. But another important point is that no athlete is immune to such injuries while building a professional career; it's an unpredictable process, so you just have to do everything possible and try to minimize them.

I just clicked to watch the YouTube video, and to be honest, it was really interesting watching the craziest "1 in a Trillion" moments in Sports History as shown in the video. As it display clips of some of the unexpected Sport moments we never saw coming, ranging from baseball, American football and e.t.c. However, the way I found most funny things most was the exact video on the screenshot you shown above, where th catcher of the baseball game unknowingly fell into the fence of the field while trying to catch the baseball, as it was really funny as the entire stadium erupted into laughter.

I also thought that England should definitely win this championship now and give him a medal for his significant contribution to the victory, lol. I'll even start rooting for England to win now, because my beloved Norway were kicked out of the championship. In any case, such incidents with absurd injuries happen often, but they're usually not mentioned, perhaps to avoid psychological trauma for the athlete, but on this particular cover, the player looks happy and cheerful. Perhaps this positivity will help him recover and start playing again.

When we are professional in what we do, the chances of us getting injured at the place of work will be very small because we are going to put all those safety precautions into practice as we are playing, there is a way we can be exerted by how we play and still maintain safety to as not to enjoy ourselves from how we are going to landed when we are in a particular position, that is why a professional player will definitely avoid anything that could easily cause him and injury because he know that such mistake could lead to a big cost over him that he may not be able to perform as before again.

I think you’re missing my point. Yes please rephrase it because whatever they put into it, the difference between them and other people is that they get paid for putting effort into it while others don't. The world is sometimes stupid because you get more money for entertaining somebody than for rescuing somebody or building a better life for somebody. Your posts almost sound tragic, as if you feel with them and that is hilarious.

It's always refreshing to see when stars step forward and say that salaries are out of touch with reality. Not all of them do it, but some of them do. In find it much more interesting to see what people put in when they themselves or their actions are not seen at all. Or when they know they are underpaid and yet do it. Stars in football or other sports don't have many reasons to complain when they are financially successful.

There are other cases when they put everything into it and are stopped by an injury forever. That is a different case. But when you get tears in your eyes because you see a player with 20 million salary play and you explain that you finally understand how much they put into it and the salaries are justified from an effort standpoint, it is ridiculous.

It still is true that the market decides, but you were talking about efforts and personal enlightening about their sacrifice or whatever you were referring to.
