It depends on what you want or need and the availability of the marketplace in your location; I can only pay part of my income from the signature campaign on domain registration, hosting, and VPN, but for my basic needs I still need to trade it for fiat.

most countries that do not support bitcoin do not even make it easy for you to transact bitcoin as exchange especially for goods and services. In such cases, you will just have to keep using fiat for your every day conversations where you use bitcoin as a means of storage of your value. The position of the exchangers such as the Bybit and other exchangers is to make your payments easy using bitcoin regardless of the legal status of the bitcoin in your country. I don't see my country accepting bitcoin any time soon but hope to see a bitcoin friendly ecosystem built in the country backed by the support of the government across all levels.

In my country Bitcoin or any other currency other than Rupiah is prohibited from being used as any medium of exchange, it has become a strict law in my country, so if you want to use Bitcoin as a result of your activity wherever it must be exchanged first into fiat which is mandatory, but I better choose to keep it and save it because income like in forums or out there like sweepstakes or whatever it is is an additional income that I even sometimes use to gamble or trade, but from most of my activities after I feel sorry for not collecting more bitcoins and holding them I am back on the right path, I don't care about supporting the bitcoin economy you mean that, I better keep it, unless I travel to a country that supports bitcoin as a medium of exchange there is a possibility for that.

I don't think it should be compulsory to spend bitcoin all for the sake of helping the economy. It should be a matter of choice, as there are others who will willingly spend their Bitcoin on purchasing things. What about storing Bitcoin for value? Since Bitcoin isn't legal in my country, I can't use it directly without an international marketplace where Bitcoin is accepted. Btw, I have been holding small amounts of Bitcoin; it's from the trading and clients' payments and signature campaign as well. That means as your title asks the question, I have an alternative as well to earn Bitcoin, not only depending on the signature campaign.

My country doesn't allow earning and spending Bitcoin as well in our economy. So I have to get help from a third party like crypto cards or SWIFT services. With crypto cards, we can even withdraw cash from the ATM in my country. However, if the government becomes more strict about my Bitcoin holding, we have a black market here to deal with Bitcoin like P2P; we just need to make sure we have been dealing with the right person.
