It depends on what you want or need and the availability of the marketplace in your location; I can only pay part of my income from the signature campaign on domain registration, hosting, and VPN, but for my basic needs I still need to trade it for fiat.

most countries that do not support bitcoin do not even make it easy for you to transact bitcoin as exchange especially for goods and services. In such cases, you will just have to keep using fiat for your every day conversations where you use bitcoin as a means of storage of your value. It should be a matter of choice, as there are others who will willingly spend their Bitcoin on purchasing things. What about storing Bitcoin for value? Since Bitcoin isn't legal in my country, I can't use it directly without an international marketplace where Bitcoin is accepted. Btw, I have been holding small amounts of Bitcoin; it's from the trading and clients' payments and signature campaign as well. That means as your title asks the question, I have an alternative as well to earn Bitcoin, not only depending on the signature campaign.

You made a very good point here spending money that we make from Bitcoin related activities in the Bitcoin economy, such as spending that money in purchasing goods and services via Bitcoin payment system online. This is a very good idea because, we have talked about the need of not only holding our Bitcoin but should also make sure that we take deliberate steps in making sure that we spend our Bitcoin. Again we the rising inflation which affects Fiat currencies all over the world spending Bitcoin will be more safer and better because inflation is not something that really has much effect on Bitcoin. In capitals or large cities it may be relatively easy to find businesses that accept Bitcoin as a means of payment, but usually it is not like that. I do not think that your counter point is a very good one because the number of countries where it is illegal to use Bitcoin as a payment in private transactions are very few, so why should we make statements that apply only to the few? As a general rule this is what you can do and you should be doing. Bitcoin does not need to be legal tender in a country for there to be a Bitcoin transaction between individuals, and since when we talk about Bitcoin services it also often applies to online services and there we should have no trouble finding places that accept Bitcoin.

Businesses that operate or use Bitcoin, the best would be in companies that are really pro Bitcoin but those are few that are true to that cause. Paying for a VPN with Bitcoin would be one, but the problem is that the benefit that the user alleges will be negated if that same company automatically coverts all its Bitcoin to fiat upon receipt. But even in that case it does help a little bit because it shows the merchant that many users are willing to pay with Bitcoin and they are likely to continue supporting it.

Well I think at least one could make a good point that some of this income should be used to support Bitcoin directly like running a node? I think it is appropriate to teach people to give something back to Bitcoin if they are getting so much in return from it. You don't have to exactly have to spend it in Bitcoin related services like the user said, but many even support the network as volunteers without getting any signature campaign income so maybe we can derive an obligation from this.
