Two teams eliminated from the Champions League are set to face off in the Europa League. Shamrock Rovers will host Egnatia Rrrogozhine in the first leg at home. I have to say I’m expecting plenty of goals in this match. We need to keep in mind that Egnatia’s games are generally high-scoring. Conversely, we can say that Shamrock’s home games have also been high-scoring. Considering that both teams will be attacking until the very last minute to advance to the next round, it looks like a high-scoring match is in store for us.

Looking at the ongoing qualifications series that is going on in the Europa League, I think that the standard is actually high and it will only take teams that are up there to making it to the ground stages because there is much improvement in the quality of play.

Benfica is one of the top clubs in the UEFA Europa League, so St. Gallen was out of the running in this case. I assume Benfica will be one of the major contenders for the trophy. Their 5-0 win against St. Gallen speaks for itself. In my view, the only team capable of obstructing Benfica's attempt is Milan. I like both teams and will continue betting on them.

I'd not rate Benfica as a top contender unless they can beat top teams in this competition with decent score. They might be doing a big comeback against St.Gallen, but they scored a lot just after Gallen played with 10 players, which was nothing special. They also lost in the first leg too.

So my crystal ball tells me how teams from the big leagues especially EPL can thrash them. They still lost to the club that came from nowhere despite their big win in the 2nd leg and it's proving if they're weak. They're not yet ready for this competition.

Palace, Bournemouth and Sunderland are still remain the top contenders. Those clubs can kick their ass if they meet each other.

You think these two clubs are the strongest but in reality they ain't if not, why will one of them be eliminated early. I haven't seen a strange name that's not in the top five big leagues win any European club competition so, you might be wrong on your own predictions. I wouldn't say much but to watch how things play out this new season.

Shamrock Rovers managed to take the lead by defeating Egnatia Rrogozhine 3-1 in the first leg at home. After the first half ended in a 1-1 tie, Shamrock Rovers scored two consecutive goals early in the second half to win the match 3-1, giving them the advantage in advancing to the next round. I believe that even if Shamrock Rovers lose on the road, they will lose by only one goal and still advance to the next round.

Most of the games of the 3rd qualifying round (1st leg) will be played tomorrow, but we have had 2 games played yesterday and one played today.
In the only game played today, a Hungarian Ferencvaros (previous season Hungarian League runner-up) earned a modest 1-0 win over Polish Gornik Zabrze (prior season Polish Ekstraklasa runner-up).
I'm not sure who was the favourite here, but I think Gornik was considered a stronger team, so their fans could feel a slight disappointent with tonight's result.
Nothing is decided yet and the 1 goal is not a massive disadvantage, especially when Gornik will be playing the 2nd leg at home.
Whichever of these two teams goes through, they will face Turkish Trabzonspor in the next phase.

Ferencváros managed to win by a single goal at home against Gornik Zabrze. Gornik Zabrze, which failed to advance past Fenerbahçe in the Champions League, didn’t play poorly in their first away match in the Europa League, but they just couldn’t find the goal that would have secured a draw. Ferencvaros managed to take the lead by winning the first leg against their opponent. I think Ferencvaros will most likely advance to the next round. A tough match awaits them on the road, but I don’t think they’ll lose.

So I think it is similar to me and my neighbors above and below. Maybe like 40% words are same, but used in different way or meaning, even spelling, and the rest if you think very hard, it can be related to the meaning it is conveying.

Sometimes, football delivers justice. In a match where we played very well at full strength (11 vs. 11), we created countless chances but couldn't find the goal we were looking for.
We were reduced to 10 men after Ouattara received two yellow cards—and the resulting red—within the span of six minutes.
I want to commend Italiano for one thing: even though the team was down to 10 men, he brought Semih onto the pitch, and Semih scored. It may have been a lucky goal, but he found the net against an open goal. Olaitan and Ndidi orchestrated such a beautiful attack that the ball, played into the middle, deflected off the defense and fell right to Semih, who scored. We are currently leading 1-0, and the Kralove defense is leaving huge gaps; we might just find a second goal.

KuPS Kuopio didn’t lose at home against Universitatea Craiova, but I don’t think they have what it takes to advance to the next round. The away team was the favorite in this matchup, and even though they went into halftime leading 1-0, they ended up with a draw on the road. It’s not a bad result for them, and they’ll advance by winning their home game.

Benfica totally destroyed Hearts in yesterday match and this is just first leg. Imagine what the aggregate scoreline will be if they play in the second leg. There's nothing Hearts can do anymore, I feel the strategy will be to defend in order not to concede more goals. I even thought that Heart will go far in this Europe after their amazing performance last season. But Benfica is bigger and better team, with alot quality players, this game just looked like they are facing a division team in their league. I wish a big teams can come for Vangelis Pavlidis, Bro is on a goal spree in this qualifiers.

In the previous round, Hearts already experienced a similar disaster against Sturm, losing 6:0 in 2 games, so it is obvious that they are not competitive in Europe this season.
I expect that they will do similarly in the next round when they go down to the conference league and apparently even these "2 parachutes" will not help them to play in the group stage of any competition this season.
The other Scottish representative didn't make a name for himself either, Rangers lost in Poland to Jagiellonia.
As for the other matches, the expected results were the only thing I didn't expect was the victory of Anderlecht against PAOK in Greece.

Benfica should be playing in the Champions League and not Europa League, unfortunately for them they couldn’t qualify for the Champions League, I saw the game last night, Benfica totally dominated the game, It felt like a training game, I just have to Change the game to a different game entirely, Kevin Duran is a good signing for Benfica, I was very sad when he left Aston Villa for Saudi Arabia because he is absolutely a good player at a very young age, it’s good he is playing for Benfica now, who knows he might just get his career back on track.

I don’t see how Hearts would come back from this outrageous loss, well they say anything can happen in Football so I’m not expecting anything special to happen in the second leg of the Europa League Qualifiers, I’m also surprised no team is interested in Pavlidis, he is 27 years of age and there are teams that should be interested in signing him most especially English Teams, Andreas Schjelderup is another player that caught my attention right from the World Cup and also watching him play in this Benfica team, he is a phenomenal player.

Hearts has been in a major slump since losing the championship in the final moments last year.
In the Champions League qualifiers, they conceded a total of six goals against Sturm Graz across two matches without scoring any themselves.
Yesterday, they conceded six goals against Benfica in the first leg, though this time they did manage to score one goal against their opponent.
For Benfica to be eliminated by Hearts, it would take a miracle—or literally seeing red snow—this season.
Hearts also got off to a poor start in their own league, losing 2–1 to Aberdeen in their opening match.
Yesterday, the opening goal was scored by Rafa Silva, who had left Beşiktaş; I have a feeling Rafa is going to be successful at Benfica this year.

One of the day’s unexpected results was Rangers’ loss. Although they scored in the opening minutes against Jagiellonia, they were unable to stop Kajetan Szmyt’s goals—which came seven minutes apart—and lost the match due to the goals scored in the first half. I would have expected Rangers to at least avoid a loss in this away game, but Jagiellonia proved they are a team not to be taken lightly. Rangers will most likely win their home game and advance to the next round.
