Have you ever on your own feels that today or tomorrow that is a better day for you that you feels like you could be missing out something important for not placing bet that particular day?
I don't feel such, I only feel that if someone told me to bet a particular game and I turned the person offer down and it happens to Play afterwards, I usually feel and think about it as if I have lost a golden opportunity that Day.

Okay, a frown of mine who is a gambling addiction keeps saying that if he didn’t place a bet for any particular he feels like he is losing so he must find a way out to make sure he places a bet just to make sure he didn’t missed out that particular day not to gamble. But then, something very important and interesting struck into my mind that could it be the reason why most people especially those who are addicted keeps getting addicted or what?
It is possible that those people who feel that missing to bet a particular Day seems like missing a golden opportunity can be gambling addict, because those kind of thought is what makes them to keep gambling or coming back to gamble when they have lost. Anything can trigger or make someone to come back to gamble, and this particular incident is one of them, and I don't doubt that it could possibly be a sign of gambling addiction.

This is just a normal feeling that you have missed an opportunity if you didn't engage in an activity at a particular time. This used to be how I felt in my early days of gambling. To some people, this might be connected to gambling addiction because you are just used to betting consistently. But this is not a problem if the gambler can control his gambling behavior and gambling within his means. I still have that feeling sometimes, especially when the prediction channel I follow dropped a prediction that most people won. I would regret it if I fail to place bets using their prediction.

These are some of the ways to avoid this kind of behavior is for people to know that gambling wins are unpredictable. And you can be lucky at any time, not just that day you didn't gamble. We should also learn not to worry about past opportunities.

I think the most important step is changing the mindset from I am missing an opportunity like FOMO to I am avoiding an unnecessary risk.  Once a person understands that they are not losing anything by skipping a bet  it becomes much easier to resist the need over time. Because that feeling is one of the biggest reason why gambling addiction becomes so difficult to break or quit. The people who are addicted they also need to recognize their triggers for someone it may be boredom or stress for some it is loneliness  or even watching others gamble or win. Once they identify what triggers their urge to gamble half of the problem is already solved.
Yes, you are making a reasonable point. But my question is, is it that easy for an addicted gambler to avoid bets and consider them unnecessary risks? Once a gambler becomes addicted, he or she considers every bet as a chance to win. If they did not consider bets as chances to win, they would never have become addicted. Addiction never comes in a short time. Gamblers who gamble regularly at the same time over and over again start to think of themselves as expert gamblers. Thinking of themselves as expert is the root cause of addiction. So an addicted gambler will never be able to get out of the gambling trap unless he or she wants.

Your friend is already an addicted gambler and only addicted gamblers can’t stay a day without placing a bet, simply because gambling has become part of them and so hard to stay without it, coupled with their day wouldn’t be complete without it. Someone who isn’t addicted to gambling doesn’t see any reason why they should gamble every day except when they feel like.

Secondly, gambling addiction is not something anyone can just stop by disconnecting their mind from it, even when they try to, it going to take for some while depending on the individual if they are determined to stop.

No, to be honest, this has never happened to me. I'm not really a serious gambler, so I don't feel like I've missed out on a big opportunity if I don't play on a particular day. However it's not uncommon for people who gamble regularly to feel this way. It's a bit like FOMO.  The dopamine hormone in the brain of addicts works in such a way that if they don't bet on a certain day, they don't see it as  staying safe, but rather as if they've missed out on a sure win or opportunity. And I would say that this thought is what gradually drives people to gamble again and again.

This is basically a bad habit that has been internalized and made part of their life through consistency in the wrong direction which is gambling perhaps not gambling feels like something is missing out in the day or some part of their daily routine has not been fulfilled, I have that urge daily that I’m not being productive if I haven’t done my work for a single day, I guess that’s how he feels so I understand, it has become part of his life so all he needs is rehabilitation to correct such wrong way of life.

First of all, I'm not addicted to gambling, so I don't usually have negative feelings while gambling because they wouldn't help me in the long run. Honestly, I think it's necessary for us to always understand that gambling involves more losses than wins. There's no need to stress ourselves too much for any reason, because addiction is something that's not always easy to get out of.

So it would be very nice to play with good decisions and know when to stop and call it a day, without wanting to beat the casino every time.

With my years of gambling, I don't think I've ever reached that point. I haven't gone to that extent, and I wouldn't even want to, where you become anxious if you can't play or place a bet.

Especially now, I'm trying to build my discipline. I've tested myself. After a loss, I can now stop for a day, then a few days, then a week, and now even a few weeks. I'm still coming back, but at least, unlike before. I can see that I'm making progress.

What I'm currently practicing is forcing myself to stop after a win or once I reach my quota, and not come back the next day. I actually find this much harder to do than stopping after a loss. I guess it's because after winning, you feel more confident and think you can win again.

I watched an interview with a local gambler on social media. He said he started by gambling occasionally, then it became an everyday habit. As his losses kept getting bigger, he found it harder to quit even though he wanted to. His hands would start shaking, and he would become anxious whenever he couldn't play slots. But with the help of his friends and family, he managed to overcome it.

Your friend may be going through the same thing. Just keep practicing until he build his discipline. It won't happen overnight, but with patience and consistency, it does get better.

If I'm honest there are several games that my instincts have told to pay attention to that I didn’t and at the end the exact prediction I had in mind played out in my favour and I just end up regretting not playing that day. I believe this is a common feeling and experience for most gamblers. I forget to mention that the reason you feel more regret when you miss an opportunity is usually when your recent bet which yoi choose over the one from your instincts end up in loss.

Addiction is the only reason why someone will feel incomplete when they do not gamble for a day nothing more, the thought of missing out happens when the person already has the thought that easy day could be an opportunity for a win or a total recovery that's why once they do not gamble they feel sick and can't concentrate until they gamble and lose which is normal. If you have someone around who has a similar experience the best thing is to help them instead of watching themkeep wasting money.

However, can this thought be controlled by them, and don’t you think if they can control this urge then it is also very possible to control addiction.
What are the best ways to make sure they didn’t have this feeling keeps ringing into their hearts; for me I feels they should also be that concerned and connects themselves with something more better so that they wouldn’t be that having that feelings and mindset to keep gambling at all time. Do you think this approach could help out to those who are already suffering addiction?

Share your thoughts and opinions.
I have no regrets about not being able to bet. There are many special days when I feel like betting at some point in the day, but I don't, and I don't regret not being able to bet, because I am not addicted to gambling and when I gamble, I only gamble for fun. So I don't take gambling seriously, I just use it as entertainment. However, it can be different for addicted gamblers; if they can't bet on a particular day, they will always feel guilty and will only regret thinking about it again and again.

That thought in his head is associated with his addictions and not just a random feeling; if he can control that feeling, he can get himself out of addiction. For someone to be feeling uncomfortable just because they are unable to gamble for a particular day, it’s a serious addiction problem, and the person should seek professional help.

Overtime, I have learned that the Fear of Missing Out applies to every other facet of life even outside bitcoin.
This is the psychological trick used by scammers to get their victims.
It has also become the trick we tell ourselves to justify whatever action we think seems right even when we truly know it is not.
In addiction, it makes us a slave to it. We think we are missing out and because we do not want to miss out we place the bet and find all means to continue to do so regardless of any inconveniences.

Most wrong decisions begin with the feeling that everyone else is getting ahead, once one stop making choices out of fear one will tend to make sound decisions. FOMO has a way of making us leave our own judgement. Whether its investing , gambling or everyday choices patience and self control usually pay off more than pursuing what's trending.

People like that are definitely seriously addicted to gambling, so that when they don't play they will feel something is missing, because their minds are filled with winnings from gambling, it is very difficult to control themselves because their brains are already filled with various gambling patterns and strategies that encourage them to continue playing, the best thing is just to wait for bankruptcy so that awareness comes

I experienced that before when I was still in my newbie's journey, that its bothering me when I skip a day or two. All I think is that I already missed some winning scenes and opportunities, that's why as much as possible I should make daily bets not just to maximize wins but also for my peace of mind. But all I noticed is that I also allow my losses to grow and my pocket goes empty, and that's when I realized I should change my mindset and stop that delusional thinking.

Now I can bet any time I want, even if it means not betting for couple of days. Gambling should stay as an entertainment, not as additional source of income.

Fortunately, I don't have any such feelings at the moment that if I don't gamble for a day, it will make me feel like I'm missing out on something. But yes, on a weekly basis, I have some gambling days, in which case I try to gamble on those days. Of course, I do them in my free time. But yes, even then, if I have any family work or any other personal responsibility or work in between, then it is not very difficult for me to take a break from gambling or stop it.

And at the same time, I would also say that those who experience these feelings should seek counseling immediately because this type of situation is the first step towards gambling addiction.

I think that this is a pointless feeling because you cannot really tell when you are going to win or not, it's just going to keep on messing up with your psychological State. Once you start feeling like you are missing out on something you might get too anxious and this isn't good because it might push you into making decisions out of emotions and as a gambler these are the things that you should be avoiding. I don't take gambling seriously to think that I'm missing out on something, this is how you need to discipline your mind.

Emotions in betting can destroy your future unless that of your future is curbed. Taking gaming as a game aid your mind to work better. Always hope and dream lot but do not depend on winning as luck is a thing that can never be sure. Staying calm is also important in order to prevent big loss. Betting should be done in relaxed manner and not too seriously.

Even if I have this feeling, that won't guarantee that I'll be hitting a good win at that moment, so better ignore it or else, it will only lead increasing your losses in gambling. Good thing, I have not reached this certain stage yet, I gamble every now and then especially when boredom strikes, but never in my whole life I have start thinking this way.

Maybe my greed for money is still manageable, that's why I was able to control my emotions so far. And I clearly understand that losses excuses no one, so its good to take a break for some time and avoid losing for that day.
