Well you were just lucky. This kind of things happen in gambling but it's not that common, alot of people ends up losing all their money. For me what you did there is kind of exposing yourself to risk of over gambling and addiction. I liked how you said you withdrew your profit and stop gambling. Because some people won't stop there , they will want  use that profit to get money, because they feel that luck is on their side. One important to know is that gambling requires a very strong mindset , lots of self control and lastly using money they can afford to lose. Anyone who doesn't have none of that will just end up losing alot more that the can win.

Truth be told ,you are very lucky,that is why it's often said in this forum that gambling is purely luck ,with that 0.54$  balance,trust me you would have still lost it ,but luck was on your side ,you were extremely lucky and should be really thankful, another thing you did was to withdraw fast and stop immediately you got the ×2 of it, that shows you are not greedy,if you continue you would have lost all or still get more wins,but you did well by removing it fast and chill,that is purely luck.

You are very lucky to win at last, that is gambling for you, it's unpredictable as we are bound to either lose or win, but must always ensure that we are not missing out of having fun in either of the conditions, only that you cannot even show us the proof so we can believe maybe what you are saying is true or not, but that doesn't matter for now, than you have an opportunity out of gambling to make some winnings at last and this could be the reason for your excitement and why you decided to create this thread, congratulations.

That was actually a lucky day for him, congrats. That's what the game is all about, some days you may be lucky while some days may turn out frustrating, all that really matters is for us to be able to accept things the way they are. Their is no point forcing it when is not working, just do the little you know you can let go and enjoy every single experience of it. Eventually you won $127 from $61 if you think about it. Yeah, you were left with 50 cents and it's really lucky to find a way to $127 from there. But your brain will always tell you that you won $127 from 50 cents rather than $61, which is how our brain tricks us into gambling again XD.

Crazier things have happened to me. I once ran some 20 cents of dust to $80 by constantly betting everything on dice 2x and I got some 7-8 wins in a row, I think. Funnily enough, I'd even win the next one if I went on with it. Just important to be realistic about such runs though because now you might lose many deposits trying to enact that magical run again lol.

Well congrats, you double the amounts without you expect. That is your luck and help you double the money so you should withdraw it and enjoy it. I guess many gamblers have the same experienced as you and you are not the only one but most gamblers losing money and difficult to double their money.

Honestly, I won't say such thing is impossible to happen, but then, this looks or gives me the feeling that it's a made up, cooked up story and I don't know why, I find it very difficult to believe but unfortunately, I have not right to tell or ask you to prove your claim by providing of posting evidence, it's all not necessary absolutely since whether you story is the truth or false, it doesn't take or add anything to me.

I have experience it too, although the win was not as big as yours but it was just $0.5 (I think so) and as I was playing, the money doubled to $5-$10 meanwhile my starting balance was just very small, that's also the first time I just thought to myself that anything can happen in gambling, you can lose $1k just in a minute or two and so you can also win same amount depending on how lucky you are.

I'm wondering why you should be be surprised. What you did is not something unusual at all--- you deposited on a gambling site, played on a few games and lost everything. Well, how did you even get to that point, even with a minimum bet of  $5 according to you?  Chasing losses. It's one of most instinctive, yet regrettable action/decision that a gambler take/make under pressure. You were calm enough to let everything slide, but that was because, well, there was nothing else you could do.

You  are right to some extent because sometimes we need to rely on luck and sometimes we don't need to especially a situation where the chance of the thing happening is not even there but there are things we do and then see that there is a possibility that this will favor us in that case we rely on luck and hope it favor's us. It's not always going to be this way but it is impressive that you went out with a profit after losing out to the barest minimum, that should be commendable. Most people after such profits will go ahead to play more games that could end them in total loss at last but you made the right decision to stop at that point.

Gambling is not a game that we could predict at every point in time, one day might look like a lucky day and the rest could be the worst days.  There is no limit to how much loss or profit could be made in gambling, but it is also advised to stick to risk management and practice discipline.

I have experienced this more than five times since I started gambling, but the day that stood out the most was the day I used less than $1 to win over $300, which was the biggest amount I had ever won. For winning, luck is the only option, relying heaving on winning, is an attempt to loss fully on gambling. When I say fully, it has to do with all the aspect of gambling that requires winning, emotions, time, and money. I guess this is what making the gambling excitement, even with few cents you can make it big but of course it is not in your hands, the luck should work it's magic but the point is that can happen at any moment. But we should not confuse this incident with profits or bet big to make even bigger money because the same thing can happen or the exact opposite thing also happen or it could be plain and simply that you just lose all yoour deposits on a streak.

Because if you assume that you aren't supposed to lose the money you deposited, you are already playing with a false premise and i would say that person thinking like that are way more exposed to risk of over gambling and addiction.

Op didn't put any more money in, but just almost lost his deposit, which is something majority of the gamblers will experience. So do you think OP's behavior would be less risky if he wasn't lucky that time?

Also there's nothing wrong with playing more when you got profits. It's only problematic if you play with money you can't afford to gamble.
