My Question
What is that one lesson or belief about Bitcoin that have change since you joined the BItcointalk ?

Bitcointalk have not just changed my thoughts about bitcoin but it has taught me so much about patience and to be frank, it has really helped me develop my level of patience not just towards bitcoin and the market but to life in general and frankly o have gained a lot of knowledge from the forum and before my joining the forum, I saw and treated bitcoin as a ponzi because I got to know about bitcoin during the era when ponzi was very popular in the country and the few who were talking about bitcoin were running some sort of scam through it but the forum gave me a better understanding of the coin.

Liberty; i mean freedom.

Bitcoin has taught me that decision made by everyone is better than a decision made by an individual or group of individuals.
I now apply this principle in my organization. I explain facts to everyone, tell them the possible cons and pros. Allow them to bring their individual decisions, then we go by consensus. If we fail, we failed and if we succeed, we succeeded.

Well, I learned about Bitcoin in Bitcointalk, I didn't know it before I make an account. I didn't even know how it works, so there are a bunch of lessons.

If I had to pick one important lesson about Bitcoin that I learned in here, is to hold custody of your funds and how to do it properly. I remember vividly before I create an account, my understanding of Bitcoin is that you create an account on Coinbase and just move it inside there.

Though on my end, I have known bitcoin because of these free faucets like freebitco and then came with bitcointalk. But in this forum, my knowledge expanded a lot. From these alts, mining and the whole nine yards. I cam say, I'm very grateful to be part of this forum.

I have been following Bitcointalk for many years now, it was really useful to me until around 2013, when you could still mine with Erupter. You could always find some gems there, and someone who was having the same problem as you. Then, once home mining was no longer viable, I’d sort of drifted away from the forum. I picked it up again a few years later to find it had changed completely, it had become less technical, of course, but more inclusive, in an effort to reach as many people as possible. Then in 2023, following the disastrous bear market of 2022, FTX and so on, I opened this profile in memory of a dear friend who is no longer with us and who introduced me to this fantastic world. In the end, I regretted not having opened it sooner, but that’s how it went, being as obsessed with anonymity and privacy as I am, I thought I could do without it.
Bitcointalk has taught me that by changing one’s perspective and way of looking at things, adoption can only grow, for a while, I thought decentralisation was a thing of the past, but in fact it’s stronger and more fundamental than ever.

Thank you guy, thank you admistrator and moderators, thak you bitcointalk, thank you satoshi you change my life.

There is no end to learning about Bitcoin, if you can use Bitcoin properly, this will be the best. Many people are transacting with this Bitcoin and holding this Bitcoin to eliminate their financial needs in the future. Everyone is using Bitcoin in the way they can, so the way you use Bitcoin will be right for you. I use Bitcoin as a holding and have gained a little knowledge about Bitcoin and am looking forward to gaining more in-depth knowledge and this forum has taught me a lot of in-depth knowledge.
Which I could never have learned from outside this forum, I am holding Bitcoin as a holding and this is what I will continue to do in the future and I will continue to hold Bitcoin holding and continue to move forward into the future by maintaining the continuity of purchases.

Bitcoin is more about how to react as a human not just understanding the core idea and concepts of Bitcoin. FOMO, greed, discipline. All these are still needed not to make rash decisions in Bitcoin investment. Another thing is that Bitcoin is about your freedom and how you control your wealth without any middle man. Most of us here verify things before we accept it. That's another thing this forum has highlighted most of the time. Security is one important thing that has been talked on here multiple times. How to stay clear from scammers. And protect your Bitcoin as all times. We also have a role to play in other not to get scammed. Fully aware of the tactics of how scammers operate and scam their victims is a plus. Make sure you are well informed. This forum is an eye opener. Readers will always benefit before they contribute into making newbies learn.

This forum has taught me almost everything I know about Bitcoin and being a Bitcoiner.

If anyone is willing to take the time they can find the answer to any question about Bitcoin.
It has it all and these are some of the things I have learned here:

Bitcoin ownership and wallet selection, trading, buying, selling, exchanging and what to use
and what not to use. Why its best to ditch alt coins and focus on Bitcoin itself. Mastering the
psychology of Bitcoin ownership and how to avoid FOMO, FUD and to learn patience. This
forum has also given me more financial education than I had before joining.
