I don't agree.
There are ways to escape inflation, even if you  make your money with a bread and butter job you can escape it.
Only if you don't become active you are victim to outer circunstancies..

It's not as easy as you say. When you live in a country where inflation is higher, you'll find everything so difficult - even if you earn more money, it still won't keep up with the inflation, so in the end, what you earn will never be enough. Not to mention, when inflation is higher, many companies will take breaks or even stop operations completely, which will cause layoffs everywhere and make it harder for people to find work and earn more income. If you're lucky, maybe you can get freelance online work to supplement your income, but for most people, it's just a struggle.

Bro, there is no doubt majority of the countries around the globe are facing bad inflation rates due to their bad policies, and the main reason is that corruption is causing the inflation rates to be even higher. This is the edge point that is working like a burning fire against poor and middle-class people, and we all know that corruption is a common thing in all countries' politics. Other than this, the word inflation is only for poor people, upper and lower middle class people, because it does not affect the lifestyle of elite class people, because they don't care when it comes to spending, and they buy without noticing the product price tag.

There was a time I blame inflation for everything and I've got to understand that nothing can be done about it, we overheard our parents complaining the same inflation when I was a child, till this moment I've grown into an adult and complaining from where my parents stopped.
I thought you are going to say that it was wrong, or it is not only about inflation on why our life is hard now. What I said there is true though. Some people only put all the blame on something, or on our regards here ' inflation ' when the truth is that they are also lazy and don't take necessary actions on trying to improve their lives. But I believe the inflation in the past is not that alarming as on what we had today.

There is also instance that we only came from a poor clan. It still suck that some of them did not try their best to at least give the next generation a better life and break the curse. I think that we can still do something to lessen the inflation rate. So I believe governments, or banks are not only responsible for this and it is wrong to put all the blame on them.

The major solution to this is adapting to the systems, complaining and nagging won't help, however your source of income is, manage, adjust to the economy and then leave.
If it is hard for us to help curb the issue directly, then this is the only thing that we can do.

I don’t see inflation to be the biggest problem in our society; inflation is just an economic challenge that is static so far as there is an economy. It has always existed, and sometimes people may not feel it when the rate of inflation is low.

Inflation becomes very visible when there is poor leadership that is unable to solve economic challenges. The biggest problem is a corrupt government because if there is no corrupt government, you won’t even have anything to talk about regarding inflation. Most times, someone might be the cause of inflation or something else, but inflation can still be controlled when the right person is in charge.
I agree, Justice is the biggest problem in the world. From corrupt officials, government people, politicians, big corporations and many more, Justice is lacking in the world. In a world, where the whole world, and I mean like literally every nation in the world, living with one single law that is just pure decent and kind and nice, nothing too weird, just normal ways to live as a "good" person, as long as everyone follows it, we would have a much better world.

So the thing is, as long as we do not have justice, inflation or anything else doesn't matter because no matter what you do, eventually injustice will make everything worse.

I don't agree.
There are ways to escape inflation, even if you  make your money with a bread and butter job you can escape it.
Only if you don't become active you are victim to outer circunstancies..
How do you escape inflation if you do spend money on daily basis to buy your needs, the price hike will force you to buy by all means, so if you buy at high price that is higher than your expected price, then you have been affected by inflation.

The only way you can escape future price surge and inflation with your money is by investing them in something that will store value. Gold has been what wise investors had been using in the past, it stores value and always available and always have demand, therefore, having gold is like an investment to escape inflation.
In our digital era, Bitcoin is our currency that we rely on to curb inflation now, so investing in Bitcoin for future can solve inflation problem because when you want to use them in the future, it will maintain its value.

The question is: to what extent is this feasible for people with low incomes and !spare funds"?

They have the worst cards people could get.
Still it is tough to accumulate in any given country and tougher as a city dweller.
The debate is about can inflation be beaten, yes it can.
Can anyone beat it? No

People identify with one of the many groups a people consists of and judge without seeing the wider picture.
I don't understand the point of asking about poor people every in questions like this, because what is the use of that? We know that in everything related to money and capital, the richer you are the better your options are even if you are not very smart and don't know how to use them they are still there. Poor people are at a disadvantage with all of that, but if we are talking about real poverty then the primary concern is not about beating inflation it is about surviving. Only once a person moves into higher classes do they get the luxury of thinking about new and more advanced aspects of life.

I don't agree.
There are ways to escape inflation, even if you  make your money with a bread and butter job you can escape it.

Don't just respond to one post from the early responses, it has been explained in further points as he and I had a discussion about this. If you read the whole discussion you will understand what he meant, which is to beat inflation and has given an example of how someone has done this successfully. So I corrected him that it can't be escaped but it can be beaten, he was right to bring it up it was just that the used word was wrong and nothing more.

The only way you can escape future price surge and inflation with your money is by investing them in something that will store value. That is not escaping inflation and I have already explained it in this thread.

I would have it said inflation remains the non-stop problem of the world, because it could stay forever as long as we are kicking alive. The reason why instead of seeing it as a problem, as a threat, I turned to see it as a motivation to keep me going and keep increasing my income because what it should be, than totally fall on inflation and leave our family with an empty, hungry stomach.

The only way to escape inflation is do not limit your job opportunities but continue to increase your source of income, by having an 8-hour stable job and a side hustle on your free time. And having an investment should also be a must, regardless of your net income, as long as it continue to generate income for you and your family.

But if you are lazy to secure all these things, inflation will eat you up and may become homeless in no time.

I didn't say it was easy.
The world is full of colors, not just black and white. (which are no colors in the 1st place)
Inflation is an ingredient of a system based on growth. How will you replace worn and torn bills?
What will happen to the 3 million BTC which have been lost?

If you live in a high inflationary country, you have ways, are those ways easy? Nope. Everything becomes easier when you know more.
There are close to a million people living on digital work, for not so hard dollars, some, more lately for USDC or USDT. which mimic the $ who has lost purchasing power in the last 50 years you stop envying people living in the US.

I’d also like to ask this question: Should we fight inflation? I’m talking about controlled inflation, not runaway inflation.
For example, there’s a classic view on controlled, low-level inflation-it encourages people to buy and invest more actively, which is good for the economy. If money sits at home "under the mattress", it won’t be circulating in the economy.
Or, to put it in scientific terms: "Moderate inflation stimulates economic growth, whereas deflation stifles business activity and increases the real value of debt".
I won’t insist that this is the most accurate statement, but there is logic to it.

Yes, it is easier said than done. Dealing with inflation is a major challenge that many people are still struggling with.

However, is it true that high inflation will force companies to temporarily suspend operations or close down? I do not think so. Inflation is different from a recession, and inflation can force businesses to cut costs or lay off employees because borrowing become more difficult. But to say that would trigger a wave of company closures is not entirely accurate.

As for finding online work, I think it's even harder than finding an offline job.

I’d also like to ask this question: Should we fight inflation? I’m talking about controlled inflation, not runaway inflation.

Nope we should not, we should look how to get over it.
A way where the inflation is not a problem, you make 15 000 and the inflation gets 20% you laugh

You make 1.500 and 20% have more weight.

You make 150 and 20% and you cry.

I don't agree.
There are ways to escape inflation, even if you  make your money with a bread and butter job you can escape it.
Only if you don't become active you are victim to outer circunstancies..

You are right. Increasing income and creating multiple income sources can be a good way to protect from inflation. But if the value of fiat currency continues to decline at a high rate, then increasing income will not be of much benefit. In addition to increasing income, one can invest in assets that retain their value and have gained trust among people over the years. For example, gold is a good example. Many people hold gold for the security of their future lives. It also benefits them. Those who had invested in gold many years ago are now getting good benefits. And those who invest in gold now will also get its benefits in the future.

There is no scientific evidence that that is any true, it is one of the main theories that they have pushed across to the mainstream academics of economics. There is no validity in the claim, and it is actually possible that we would be better of with inflation that is very close to zero or even deflation. There are no good arguments against deflation, they usually make up something exaggerated like comparing runaway deflation to normal inflation which does not make sense. It is like using hyperinflation as an example why deflation is better than inflation. When big interests join together to push a theory like this into the mainstream, it is not usually because it is true. Just look how many years they have called Bitcoin a scam, some like in the European Union are still doing it. Was it true, is it true? Similar stuff happens with economics theories, you won't even get published in the best journals if you bring a paper that destroys the inflation arguments. Anything above 1% inflation is too much.

Inflation hedge is value, wherever that lies, in every person value differs.
There is a lot of value storing materials, earlier the century land was the hit, seeing billionaires now also buying up land we are right back where we started.
The TV show Yellowstone also raised awareness of proper living standards,  i.e. Montana where ordinary people priced out of their (rented) homes.

What I realized is that inflation is part of a growing economy. So expect that inflation will stay for good.

However, despite how negative the impact inflation is, still there are means not to totally eradicate it but at least to minimize getting affected with inflation. You can increase your source of income through getting a side hustle, create investment like gold and bitcoin that can hedge against inflation, or simply invest in your backyard. Grow natural foods in order to save from food expenses.

The possible ways to minimise affect of inflation is through prudent financial management, because spending lavishly is one of the major reasons why some individuals suffer from shortage of essential products, it is actually very important to prioritise our needs especially in these kind of situations that we're experiencing now, reduction of unnecessary expenditure will help a lot, because you will have the opportunity to save some money for the future. Financial planning is very essential because it is hard to say that the rate of inflation is going to decrease any time soon. So since we can't fully control the situation, at least we can ensure our safety and financial stability through finding a good or legal source of income, and debt minimization.

I want to ask a question here and although I feel the question might be off from the current discussion but I just can't seem to wrap my head around the whole inflation issue and why it's has eaten up the whole entire society structure.

1. Why do we think all these inflations happen.
2. From the onset is it not the whole set up of the economic that warrants the chances and cases of inflation?
3. If there is a proven means to actually counter the inflation like any example from any nation in the whole why is it not been replicated.
4. The government are the true cause of this right? Because they also have the power to make sure things don't get hyper inflated but I feel there are also in benefits, please correct if am wrong because it's so absurd when you have all the power to set things straight but yet fall to do so.

Correction from can to can not
So how do we escape inflation caused by natural disasters, pandemic, war and other factors beyond our control. Factors beyond our control cause reduction in supply. Ofcourse you should know that once there is a reduction in supply, the price of goods and services will go high.

As long as man exist, there will always be inflation. We cannot escape it, but can control the inflation rate. Hardwork and government policies cannot solve inflation problems.

Inflation is not a problem. Inactivity towards its effects is the problem.
You cannot escape natural or even desastre not natural. You can have values everywhere you can open accounts, have a wallets,
