What I realized is that inflation is part of a growing economy. So expect that inflation will stay for good.

However, despite how negative the impact inflation is, still there are means not to totally eradicate it but at least to minimize getting affected with inflation. You can increase your source of income through getting a side hustle, create investment like gold and bitcoin that can hedge against inflation, or simply invest in your backyard. Grow natural foods in order to save from food expenses.
Well, as long as we have a monetary system that's considered "inflationary", it will stay.
It all started during the "Nixon Shock".

Anyway, inflation is here to stay, so the best thing that we can do now is to prevent losing from it. I guess I'm lucky enough that I'm living in a country where the inflation rate has an average of around 4% in the last 5 years. Some countries have double-digit or sometimes triple-digit inflation rates which is ridiculous. There's no stopping inflation, but we can prevent losing the value of our money by simply investing, and when I mean investing, I mean long-term investing where the sole reason of your money is to defeat inflation. We can also say that the government is partly the reason why the inflation on a particular country is high, and I agree with what you said that having more source of income would be better, but if you don't know how to invest, in the long run you will still get defeated by it.

Invest, invest, and invest, and if possible, invest in those assets that gives dividends like the stocks out there. You can't feel the effect of inflation in the short term, but in a decade, you will feel that the prices of the ones you're buying 10 years ago are becoming more and more expensive.

When a war starts, inflation increases due to that war, but even after the war ends, inflation does not decrease. Although the increase in the rate of inflation is a common thing in the present day, it has the most negative impact on people's lives. When inflation occurs, it shrinks the scope of people's work. The working wheel of the economy slows down, and people start losing their jobs. As poverty increases due to inflation, at the same time the income gap between the rich and the poor increases. The possibility of new business growth also decreases. Not only the economic pressure but also the negative impact on the social and human aspects of people is seen.

With the occurrence of inflation, anxiety usually increases among people, which also affects the family. And when unrest is created within the family, it spreads everywhere. It affects all sectors of education, health. Inflation increases social unrest, which creates insecure or worse situation for the common people.

Inflation does decrease. It's just that it takes time to materialize. Remember, just because inflation goes down, doesn't mean the cost of goods and/or services will also go down. They're already priced in. Inflation is the rate at which Fiat currencies lose value. In the US, it used to be 2%. This means, each year, the USD will lose 2% of its purchasing power. In other words, goods and/or services will become 2% more expensive.

Businesses and merchants are usually greedy, so they will try to keep prices high as long as possible. Such is the case with oil these days. I'd expect inflation to remain a persist problem for as long as governments and central banks exist.

Modern society is characterized by so many problems, which has helped shaped society and the way it lived. Looking at the modern society that we find ourselves there is the problem of religious extremist which pose the problem of threat to societal peace and safety, yet if am to judge that is not the greatest problem of this modern era.
I highlighted something for you which I totally disagree with, what's the correlation with modernization and religion here ? And sorry for pointing it out but not all countries take religion like you have put it,some countries if not the majority coexist with other religions which doesn't allow one of them to feel more superior than the other...if anything modern world is bringing about equalities between people as technology helps people learn about other cultures etcetera..

There is also the problem of fraud, which has ever been seen at least not at this present scale which has caused a lot of economic impact on the world economy. Yet I will not say that fraud is actually the biggest problem of the modern society we find ourselves.
Fraud can be pinned down to lack of jobs and people desperately trying to make a living, maybe simply put it as character of an individual too as this can not be generalized and used casually to define society this way...

I also want to believe technology can be the cause of this has overzealous individuals can be trying out their newly acquired skills..

There is also the threat of war, which is also a big problem to global peace, with threat of nuclear weapons almost on daily basis, yet I will not even say that that is the biggest problem of the modern era.
War usually comes about when a few individuals think they can do whatever they want or trying to bully themselves into another territory and other side standing up for themselves.. honestly  is almost like no respect for the other entities that brings about war..

Inflation remains the biggest problem of this modern era, I have come to the conclusion that, the biggest problem man kind is faced is actually inflation. It's a monetary problem, until the world government fixes our money mankind is in a very serious problem.
Problem with topics like inflation, they can easily turn into a political discussion which I want to avoid.. but inflation is more of an indicator of how ones economy is doing.. are the policies that the government is using helping the running of that country.. you can also think of it as an indicator to help let people know if the people incharge of running a countries affairs are doing the right thing..

Of course, inflation is not the only major problem we are facing, but its certainly one of the most concerning. It affect almost everyone, persist over time and continuously erodes our purchasing power.

You are right that better economic policies are needed, but I do not think they address the root of the problem. As long as central banks can expand the money supply at will, inflation will continue to exist.
In my country, inflation risks are a serious problem. Food and utility prices increase several times a year. This has a significant impact on purchasing power. And the saddest thing is that wages remain stagnant. Employers are in no hurry to index wages because they themselves are struggling to survive.

We have to consider finding a second job to somehow maintain a decent standard of living and avoid ending up broke.

I believe that inflation will always be there, and is part of the economy. The thing that makes inflation bad is on how big the inflation rise over time. Moderate and minimal inflation would be fine. However, with how a lot of countries are experiencing high inflation, it's bringing more negative impact to ordinary people living off of paycheck to paycheck.

Aside from fortuitous events, or something like pandemic, wars, and other natural disasters, I'd blame high inflation to poor governance and corruption. If not everything, most of the things that leads a country's economy to a certain point is because of their government.

We can still become broke despite having a second job. The first job pays the utilities and brings food to the table, the second job might be for our hospital bills, insurance, mortgages.

For a single person that might be a decent living but for a family man with some kids, that's survival.

But I agree that it's essential these days to find another source of income, whether it's a side hustle or another employment part time or on call.

Stats says that around 4% is the stable inflation globally each year. For a minimum wager that's a lot which can pay the other bills or put into investments or savings.

A savvy person will allot for investments and won't have to go elsewhere and will choose to buy bitcoin. As inflation rate increases, it also does. It won't be called a deflationary currency for nothing.

That is the problem with inflation. Inflation is normal with rising demand, and that is expected as time passes by, but the problem is greedy merchants want to take advantage of the situation even more, which results in salaries that can't almost keep up for regular folks. Others need more than 1 job just to not drown in debt or at least have savings. If only they weren't so greedy, even with inflation, it wouldn't be as high as we have right now.

Greedy merchants plus corrupt officials, these two make the situation even worse. We can't completely solve inflation coz inflation is normal, but they can at least not make it worse by not being too greedy.

The problem with inflation in the modern era can mainly and mostly be traced back to the international switch out of the gold standard for the fiat system, completed around 1973.  So instead of being backed by gold, now backed by the "full faith and credit of the government", giving rise to the fiat printing press with an infinite supply, aka inflation and devaluation.

What you have written does not make any sense at all because those things are not related. What has the greed of a merchant have to do with this? They are not required to increase your salary just because there is inflation, even less to increase it more than the inflation. It is not their problem, if you want you can take a job somewhere else. While I do acknowledge there is a big amount of greed going on with companies and even more in cases where the competition is very lacking, there is nothing that makes it required for a company to give you salary increases that are more than the real inflation. You are not entitled to get big rewards simply for being an average worker in some company, this kind of thinking needs to go away as it is leading to slacking off in jobs and delivering bad value similar to communism. The issue of wages is not a problem of inflation, it is its own complicated problem that is to some amount influences by the results of inflation. Even if you have low inflation you can still have wage growth stagnated and be less than the inflation.

What you have written is not a problem of inflation, you have written where the roots of the inflation can be traced to in the modern world. While this is correct, it is not a problem of inflation because that would mean something different.

Some people chose Bitcoin and bought it at $100,000. Now imagine their faces. Not very good advice. If someone had recommended something like that, they would have dealt with you very quickly. Therefore, you should think 10 times before giving advice. Investing is always associated with high risks, and not everyone can profit from it. Most people lose money, not make money.

That's a good point.

As an investor, we are required to know where we're investing our money. And someone who's bought at $100k did it on a bull run.

The same experience for those who bought on the highs of 2017 and 2021 bull run. It took a couple of years before they profit.

Investing takes time and it requires patience while that's a good point you've brought. They're free to find another investment that has a better return than bitcoin by holding it in a couple of years and by going through a bear market. Many investments bears risk and uncertainty but not all of them requires to be in high risk and IMO, bitcoin has the risk that everyone can take.

I think that I am speaking as an experienced holder that have been through bear markets and the worse I think was 2018.

Correct and that is the reason behind it:
Many people behave according to mainstream, few people behave like they think best.
Ergo the few collect what mainstream looses.

Yes true, inflation is a serious problem of this era. I was thinking what else could be grater threat for the people in particular country. Despite all other issues i have found that inflation is biggest problem among all. Because it is basically a root cause of many other problems. Wages are not increases with equall percentage of inflation. That ultimately creates other social issues as well. My country has suffer alot from inflation especially over last few years. Handling the economy becomes a challenge for the government but now increasing social problems is becoming another major issue. Inflation forces many people for doing two jobs. Now all are busy for making their survival better.

The increase of prices has upset civil life of lower classes as no one had ever raised wages. The ordinary citizens are forced to work day and night in order to make a living to support their families. Life has become more difficult because against the backdrop of the fact that the government has not been able to contain the high rate of inflation, the exchange value of the banknotes in the existing market has been destroyed.

Anyway, inflation is here to stay

Inflation is instability, eventually it collapses.  The dream we can have constant inflation and its all to plan and known is the dream of the central banks and its a delusion or excuse for not solving the problem.    Eventually we go from inflation to deflation due to collapse, inflation impedes business and wont continue.

Inflation is one of the greatest challenge of modern day reality, inflation comes in, in double digit sometimes and it affects the pockets of the ordinary citizen of the society. The annoying parts about inflation is the fact that, whenever it comes it will take the government a long period of time for them to implement a new minimum wage to cushion the effect of inflation on the people, so a lot of times you see people struggle with their bills just to meet up their daily demands. Some people are very active as a matter of facts they work out their ass just so that they can balance their financial demands, so inflation bites citizens in the most unrealistic way you can think of.
The bolded statements should be directed to the government of those nations that make life difficult for their workers even when the know what to do when these type of economic reality surface, it shouldn't be generalized, we still have some nations in the world that still have a proactive leadership that knows what to do at every time, a strategic government put out plans ahead for whatever that may befall their country economically, that's why the effect of inflation is not easily noticed or felt in many country, it is not as if inflation is not there but because measures are already in place to tackle it.

I conclude our countries are ran by scammers. The government is constantly making empty promises about economy which can never happen for real, at same time they manipulate numbers, create bonds and demand you to trust their word and credibility (which is non existent at this point).

The biggest ponzi scheme alive is our fiat system. It solely doesn't crash at once because the government is sacrificing the ones at the bottom of the pyramid to continue feeding the ones at the top.

However, people at the bottom are unaware about it, because the sacrifice is done in dosages they can afford. It's done through a decreasing purchasing power, decreasement on the quality of goods and products consumed daily, and bombing of cheap and ephemeral pleasures involving internet access.

It's like living in hell under the effect of analgesics.

Fiscal and monetary policies can't coexist without inflation, the way they are set is what is going to determine how the inflation will exit. If the government do it right, the inflation will be so small that it will be negligible but if the government mismanage it, there will be high inflation and if the government set them and tries to do hide and seek game, there will be worst inflation like when the government prints more money, it makes the economy to be very bad.

Government changes has a way it makes the economy suffer, like the way US is right now, Donald Trump might be fighting to make sure that the economy is stable and implements hard choices of policy. The next government can come and change it that they don't like the policy. Such can upste the economy, it can make the inflation reduce even more or make it worse, all depend on how the government is able to handle the situations.

Increasing your source of income won't be an escape from inflation it's just a Way you can cope with it. There are people that have multiple streams of income but for the fact that they live under the system there's no total escape from inflation. But you gave good areas a person can invest in to get resources, agriculture is a good one because you don't only make this a source of income but you can also reduce cost because there are food products you wouldn't have to buy anymore because you plant them but only few people go into agriculture.
