I’ve heard many people say that FIFA had already decided who would win this World Cup, but in my opinion, the teams that reached the final deserve to be there. Of course, there were controversial moments involving questionable decisions, but until actual fraud is proven, that’s nothing more than sore-loser talk.

It is even strange to believe that right from the start of the world cup that FIFA can have a direct influence on the outcomes of the games that Argentina partakes in. the highest they can do is to set things up so that they play a set of relatively weaker teams which we have seen to a reasonable degree. but even with that, the performance of each of these teams is not something FIFA can have an influence over which means that any of then that Argentina wins lost because they were not strong enough. In the finals against Spain, there is nothing that FIFA can do to have an influence on the outcome of that game. whoever wins is the stronger and the most deserving to be crowned world champion.

In the world of sport, any bad calls will always point to favoritism and we have seen how Messi has survived these even after some dangerous play and gone unpunished maybe due to human error or system protecting its assets  but this will be heresy when proof can't be produced.. That alone if true (hard to proved that they manipulate the opponents that they are going to play) is still is not enough for them to moved to the finals as they could be upsets along the way. So it's just part of them but not totally the reason.

Not saying that Argentina is good, but perhaps they really try to make it to the finals and work very hard because they simply have more heart and motivated to bring the title to their country again.

But it's fun to heard this kind of conspiracy.

Well, I think it's something that normally happens in the game, but fans concluded too early. I don't see anything else in this World Cup tournament but the team a effort that Argentina's put put in to get to this stage.

Just imagine the effort they showed against England in the semifinal, they were 1 goal down, came from behind and qualify for the final. It was absolutely something I didn't expect, but it was all down to their effort, nothing else.

There was no favoritism during the semifinals but on the same time no one can deny that Argentina had an easy road until semifinals but also no one can deny that Argentina is playing godlike football that simply has no end and they will attack until they score and then until they win. However , people are upset and mad because of the symbolism behind the world cup , the 19 numerology of Yamal and Messi and so on but I'm not getting bothered with this ...it is what it is and we should be happy that we have Spain vs Argentina in the grand final. ( EURO winner vs WC winner ).

Well, this is just your opinion, I don't think a lot of people would have talked about it the way they did if actually it was just a mere conspiracy as you said, I'm not against Argentina winning the World Cup and I can also agree that they have remained strong and played effortlessly to come to the finals, it was not that completely favoured them to get to the finals but their own strength too and I am happy I won some bet on them but in the case of what happened in the past week, I can not help but all feel that FIFA was biased in that match between them and Egypt.

USA player striker Folarin Balogun was given a red card and by law he would have not playing again in the next match but Trump called FIFA not suspend the player and called him back to the pitch in the next match and he was called and played. Well, that is rather you person al opinion on the issue of those conspiracy theories. I cannot assure something it is true or not, I don't have any privileged information on the FIFA. But something we need to recall there have been conspiracy theories which ended up being completely true.

In the case of football, it is an industry and, like all industries, it must have its ups and downs. But from there to justifying improbable theories without evidence is a big step.

However, the fanaticsm showed by people to their favorite players are the root why there were so many accusations to this competition. It's also the main reason why there are so many conspiracy theories, which never happen.

When a group of people saw their favorit player out, but their rival is still stay. So they start to spread the hate speech and camouflage it as a conspiracy theory.
This is why i think those conspiracy theories are the expressions of heartbroken showed by the fans who being so fanataic to their favorite player.

I am really not bothered when i see some of this criticism and hate speeches against Messi and the Argentine team because in life once you are doing well people must talk, how can someone that understands football say that Argentina in being favored by FIFA judging from what we have seen so far in this World Cup? to me it is actually laughable because will FIFA influence the game play on the field? Will FIFA cancel an obvious goal if the opponent teams score? The games that Argentina have won were all on merit to me instead of this criticism they should actually be applauded. The Argentina team have been so exceptional in this World Cup just see the quality of goal that Enzo Fernandez scored against England, just reflect back to the wonderful crosses that Messi was delivering into the 18yard box during their match with England, even the game against Egypt see the wonderful team spirit that the Argentina team have exhibited in this World Cup. It is actually not nice that people will still be making such speeches at this time, let’s focus more on who will win and celebrate with them but personally i want Argentina to win because they have performed so well.

The huge difference, however, is the intensity. The World Cup belongs to a different level. It doesn't have an annual or bi-annual season. It's emotionally-laden and highly sentimental even. Even the summer Olympics can't beat the World Cup in terms of audience in a single game. And teams are carrying their entire countries with them in every game. It's like a religion.

Especially starting in the knockout stage, it's quite understandable if fans are hypersensitive as to the calls and officiating and whatnot. A tiny perception of bias could easily blow out of proportion. After all, one can only get back at bad officiating in 4 years.

There has been lots of foul play in this world cup tournament and it's a shame to FIFA how corrupt it's body has become, their rules are bent unnecessarily because of favoritism. I believe they're making the world cup more uninteresting to watch. At my end, Argentina matches aren't watched by many people because people say that they already know who would win and that it's FIFA fixed match.

These shits that they call conspiracy theories are real, even if they're allowed, people are observing and losing trust in FIFA. If Argentina goes ahead to win the world cup, it's their glory, I wouldn't dispute that, but the dirty favorable grounds FIFA gave them wouldn't be forgotten easily by the world and it would be tagged the most controversial world cup title ever.

I would say that it is not really "that" much of a big corruption that you can see. I mean for example, I watched the entire England vs Argentina game, and there were a ton of people who claimed that it was rigged and FIFA is favouring Argentina, and when I look at it, I did not see a single place where the referee made an obvious choice. Maybe he helped them by giving 50-50 doubtful positions? I am not sure, but there were absolutely no obvious ways that this was "designed" as people claim it to be.

I think it's more about the fact that social media made sure that you can cut and edit any way you please and send it online. Like that 2022 handball by Messi that got no card, everyone talks about that, nobody realizes he did touched the ball with his hands because it was played on advantage and the play was already over.

Sunday is the final day of the FIFA world cup, and we expect to see a lot of commentary around the final match and we should expect, as well some remarks around favoritism etc from the sport fans.
