A study by a US-based think tank, the Pew Research Center, shows that China is now viewed more positively than the US in many countries around the world. This is the first time this has happened since 2002. The study also shows that respondents have more confidence in Chinese leader Xi Jinping than in Donald Trump. The report shows that even close allies are changing their views about the US.

I am not surprised by the reports of this research. Washington under Trump has done more harm than good to the world. The sponsorship and involvement in the war in the Middle East. The illegal killing of innocent fishermen and the abduction of Venezuela's president, the economic blockade in Cuba, and the threat to take over Greenland. The global economy has not recovered from his threats and imposition of tariffs.

Meanwhile, China is becoming a global peacemaker and bridge builder. They are busy building more viable partnerships as the US is bombing countries. Even within the European nations, China is becoming a reliable partner because of the US's inconsistent trade policies.

Trump not only does not care how the rest of the world views the US, but also want the world to play by America's rules. And whoever becomes their next president will not need to bother repairing relationships with allies either. Because most other countries are essentially vassals and dependent on the US.

Cheap, low quality products are very common in many developing countries because that's what many importers and businesses order to fit the budget of local consumers. It's not fair to blame them, and you cannot expect high quality product if you are only willing to pay very little.

I am not American but I love Trump and his aggressive governing style. I love his audacity and how he makes decisions without fear. All of his decisions are in favour of his people, the Americans who come first. People may not like him, but what some countries need is a leader like him.

One notable action he took which made me love him the more, was pausing HIV drugs assistance and other reliefs to Africa. This is not because I hate Africa, but I see things from a different angle. African leaders are corrupt, those reliefs sent to   African are still being sold to the people and used by close relatives. Such reliefs have also made African leaders forget that they can actually develop their land and make provision for such reliefs without such assistance from foreign countries. Such over reliance was damaging for Africa.

I am not interested in knowing who is doing well now or who is approved between China and the US, but Trump truly knows what he is doing.
