that's how they got rid of the man so that he wouldn't disgrace the great Trump and his entourage.
It seems that you are salty for some other reason because you live in a 3rd world shithole. Do or don't, you damn someone for whatever course of action they take even if they take the correct course of action. Were they to refuse to fire him, you would complain like a little child. Now that they did fire him, you also complain.

The main thing: who said this was his first time earning money this way? This one just happened to become public knowledge.
Someone who has hundreds of millions does not conduct risky criminal activities to earn $100k. You are just too poor to understand the incentives and risk management strategies that revolve around rich people. Nobody rich is involved with this, it has been done independently by the operator -- it does not even matter how many time they did something. Sometimes a single-off criminal takes a very long time to catch, other times a repeat offender takes a very long time to catch. It depends, you can't conclude anything from superficial information.
And the fact that he was "taken down" most likely suggests that this model had been operating for a long time; he just happened to "expose the scheme".
No, that is not what being taken down in any context suggests. You can't derive information about historical operations just because someone was "taken down". Sometimes they are taken down as soon as they do something stupid, other times it takes a very long time to take someone down.
P.S. I think we’ll hear pretty soon that this poor soul who made $100K will either accidentally get hit by a car, or a "sudden and brief illness" will strike him....
GTFO with your lies, the US is not a Russian or Ukranian shithole.

That said, I don't think this means that all prediction market are unfair. To me real issue is choice of market themselve. Event like election, political decisions or government appointment will always be much more vulnerable to insider information and manipulation than, for example, sporting event or natural phenomena.
Someone using insider information on prediction markets does not impact anyone else who is participating unless they are basing their choices on what other people bet -- which is their stupidity. Therefore, most users here are just salty because they are poor pajeets that do not have any information which they could monetize. That is why they hate anyone who can monetize information, whether legally or illegally.
