What do you think, is using the cashout feature a losing strategy afterall?

Don't get me wrong, but for me, cashout feature is more of a "securing profits" rather than a losing strategy.
I mean as long as you're fine with the money that you can get when you cash out then why look at it as a losing strategy?

A losing strategy is when you have given an opportunity to cash out, but you chose to risk it all and ended up losing it all instead of securing your profits. I don't want to call it "greedy" because we are the ones who are making our parlays, but IMO, getting small wins is better than waiting for that BIG profit that we can get through those parlay bets.

Anyway, the cash-out feature is rarely being used, and majority of those who are doing parlay do trust their bets so they'll risk it all. Anyway, different gamblers have different perspective when it comes to this feature. For me, I'm not waiting for that big profit so I see it as a good thing. At the end of the day, I haven't won any of my parlay bets at all so cashing out is the best option for me. Cheesy

Cashout can be very good, but know when to use it. I bet on 1 match most of the time, using cash out for it is not good because the betting sites will do it in a way it will only favour them. So I do not just use cash out at all.

If you bet on many matches and you have won like almost all the matches and the payout is very huge if you want to cash out, some people just do not mind what the 1 or 2 remaining matches will be, they can cash out. This is when cash out is very good.

I would fully agree here, the beauty of cash outs lies in the multi bet situations when several of them were successful already. In single bets, maybe if the stakes are very high and it is on the edge and you follow the match and have a bad feeling that it is not going the right way. If you place average joe bets like $10, I think it rarely pays off to accept the cash out offers. In multi bets the jumps of money that you can secure are quite significant with every single pick that hits. That's why I would recommend to keep an eye on your multi bets. Some people check later, see that the first six picks hit and the last one failed. That is when paying attention is actually paying off. Wink

There will offer cash out in amount that will look so discouraging to take for the bettor, and th cash out amount will keep decreasing if the chance of the bettor winning keep going down.

You only have total available Cash out opportunity only when your bet is on a winning trends sometimes the cash out balance I taken off the moment the game goes against your selection.
In some cases even when your game is playing according to prediction, they might not still offer you the complete cash-out amount as long as there is still remaining time in the game to play, especially when the bet option is for one team to win and the score difference is just 1 goal, this bookies system are way more faster than our hand the system detect remove and add cashout in every slide change on the game.

I have stopped cashing out my bets because I thought it was a shitty concept btw because I discovered that I was losing more by cashing out instead of just letting my games play out. I've played over 1.5 total goals bets where games that were goalless even at 80-90 minutes went on to be winners but I missed out because I already cashed out. So I put in a rule to never cash out. If I have done my analysis then I should just let it play out.
That's the consequence of cashing out. If in the early time of the game and you think that your bet won't be met, you'll have to cash it out. But I think we as sports bettors, we just go on and continue to bet until the end of the game. This is good for bigger bets when they are still allowed to cash out by the bookies and when the game is on going but you see a sign that it's not going to do well. But for the small bets, it's nothing to be thought and worried of. You just go with the flow and let your bet determine whether it's for you or not.

The thing is that anyhow we want to see it cashout do have bad and good sides, cash out is bad when done too early, most times bettors end up loosing huge money in a game that would have played simply because they cashed out too early, the fact that game isn’t going the way you predicted doesn’t mean that one should immediately cash out because things can turn around in the slightest moment, i know how many times i felt bad because i cashed out in a game that eventually played. On the other hand cash out is good in a game that is obvious that you will lose, so instead of completely losing your entire stake one can recover small amount, instead of losing everything.

Some gamblers will not thinks too details as if they see the profits, more than the money they deposit, they will cashout fast without taking long. But if they see the chance to win full on the final result, they will let that open until ends and will delay their cashout because the win money will be bigger.

If they are not sure with the results and different than their analysis, they might cashout especially if they see the profits. But some will leaves that and still hopes they can win the full amount. But panic situation will forget gamblers from their calmly and affect them to cashout immediately.

Doing cash out is helping you to be discipline with your bankroll. When you put specific amount as the limit target for your profit or lose, then you decide to cash out or take a break when you hit it. It means you are gambling with strategy to ensure you don't rush to gamble by losing your sense.
So cash out is good as long as you know how to manage it. However, many feel doubling their size feel better instead of cash it out when they win the bet.

To conclude, anyone has their preffered method, and it's totally depend on what strategy that suit you well.

Overall, the cashout option in casinos or bookies is not a losing strategy, this option is not only beneficial to the casino companies alone but also to the players, because assuming you staked $1k on a game and then later you realized that your prediction was wrong, if the match has not yet started, you can still cashout part of that money which prevents you losing all the money, you don't expect the bookie to give you all the money back when you already placed the bet. In another way too, assuming your bet is going according to how you predicted it, the bookie could offer you 40% of your potential win and sometimes, you could still lose the bet.

I have based my last two post on the cashout feature for most platforms and this should be the last I speak about unless something better comes up.
‎Still, as cashout remains a great feature on our gambling platform, I have come to the conclusion that to be a more successful gambler, constantly cashing out is usually a losing strategy in the long run, if we get to look at it from a mathematical point of view.

‎Every time the gambling platform you use offers you a cash-out value, they build an extra fee/margin (often about 5% to 15%) into that offer.
If the true mathematical probability of your bet winning at a specific moment in the game dictates you should get a $20 cashout, the sportsbook will actually offer you $17 or $18. They are charging you a premium to eliminate your risk.

‎So, if you spend all day logged in, monitoring games, and panic-cashing out every time your team faces a minor setback, you are essentially paying a massive 'tax' to the gambling platform over time.
It is because of this mathematical probability that the more successful and professional and highly profitable bettors almost never cash out manually unless a critical, unexpected piece of news hits the headline in time (like a star player getting injured at the middle of the game). They prefer to let the bet run to avoid paying the bookmaker's cash-out margin and that's why it makes more sense to avoid the cashout but opt for the final results regardless of how much you have lost so far and how badly you want to recover that loss.

What do you think, is using the cashout feature a losing strategy afterall?

Cashing out comes in two ways most times which could be an advantage or disadvantage to the gambler at that given point, majority of gamblers has lost substantial amount of money to gambling because they were afraid and not certain enough that they will be lucky to win so as they are left with one or two games to the end of the slip they have bet on they hurriedly with fear of the outcome of loosing to cash out the money they are virtually seeing instead of loosing it all it, then boom the game now plays and they lost some percentage of the money they would have won 100percent of.

Though it's good at times to use the cash out option because instead of loosing all the money it's better to have parts of it that's why it's good at times but not all the time. This casinos nor sports betting online apps are always the ones benefiting from cash out options because they build it in a way it will be beneficial to them, you can't never trust this gambling sites.

No online sports betting app will add a feature that does not favour them. Cash out was introduced to help reduce the chances of winning your rightful bet. Prior to introduction of cash out, there use to be records of extreme near win losses and there also use to be extreme big wins because once the bet is placed, you are not allowed any option until the end of the game. On the other hand, this cash out has helped many to minimise their losses on several occasions which is why I will not say that the cash out option is only for betting app gains even though it is clear that these betting apps also benefit from all the huge money they cut short by releasing their cash outs.

If you don't trust your game, you should cash out especially if you have made gain from your stake. But if you believe your bet was right, then allow it until the end of the game.

As you said, there's a way to use it, like when injuries happened, or let's say some piece of news came out that will probably make the team you bet for lose.

It's a great feature that can make a gambler choose whether to continue or not. We don't really need to abuse it by cashing out every time we see a bit of profit. If we really enjoy the games and have trust in our instincts and analysis that we will win it all the way, then do so. If not, the cash-out button is always available for pressing. Some say it's a strategy but I think it's just using it at the right time that makes it better.

It all depends on what you think and how you can bear the risk of loosing completely when you had a chance of taking Little. I don't see it as a Lossing strategy at all. I have seen many people refuse to cash out and at the end loss completely and then begin to regret the decision. There are also people who decided to cash out and get little amounts, and at the end, the game won and they begin to also regret. Whichever way, one of it must happen. Secondly, cash out option isn't by Force, you took the decision to do that, and so, you should take the outcome of it.

Generally, I see cash out as a means of helping you getting little gains instead of loosing all completely. But if it goes against you, you have to take it since you took the decision. I don't think it's a bad idea

I don't see cashing out opportunity as a lossing strategy because it all depends on different mindsets of gamblers and the manner gamblers program his staking power/tickets, i have experiences so many things on sports betting when it comes to come to gambling aspect, one needs a back up plans that will cover your expenses in case if some of tickets couldn't play finished, so i have figured out what works for me as a gambler, so it will be better as a gambler to be able to identify what will work for you as a gambler also, so my back plans comes with doublicating/rebetting all tickets that i do stake on that particular day, so some of  tickets will play finished  and why some of the tickets are mainly for cashing out only.

Well, every gambler has different ways of how they see cashout. To some gamblers, they hardly use cashout because they prefer to see the game to the end. This kind of gambler is always ready to go through the risk. While some gamblers who think they can handle the risk until the game ends normally use the cashout feature because they feel that if the game ends in a loss, it will be a big loss for them, so they just prefer to cash out with that small amount.

Every gambler has a different perspective on how they see cashout; this is an option for some gamblers to manage risk and emotions, but for some gamblers, they don't mind about cashout.

What do you think, is using the cashout feature a losing strategy afterall?
In my view, the cashout feature provided by the casino is more about flexibility or your key to reducing losses in your bets, the aim is to control your deeper losses.

On the one hand, the cashout feature is beneficial for the gambler himself, where at the end of the game you have big doubts that it won't work, maybe the cashout will work for you to use.
For example: Argentina vs. England, where mid match cashout, pays you high, when you fight for England, When Argentina scored the first goal in the 85th minute of the draw, that's when you thought carefully about withdrawing funds in cashout, switch to Argentina in the 90+2th minute, the second goal became 1-2, you have made good use of the cashout feature.

Is that a strategy? I think it's just a habit of gamblers who aren't confident in the results of their analysis on each bet. Cashing out definitely benefits the bookies, and the victims are the panicked bettors or gamblers who make big bets but aren't willing to take the risk of losing everything.

This is what some people do not know, cashout will only favour the bookies. It is good for all gamblers to know that all features available on the gambling sites are only for the bookies to make money from the gamblers. As cash out will be used, the gambler will later be happy this time and later be sad the next time. Just small amount of money for gambling will not make a gambler think of cashout.

I agree- the cashout feature would benefit the booking platform given that there is a percentage of your that bet that would be the fee.

I mean, it really depends on the person on how they would view their bets. I wouldn't outright conclude or say that cashout is a losing strategy but it there is absolutely a loss on your part when you do it. At the end of the day, I would always recommend to trust your gut and follow what you have read.

If prior to your bets you did your due diligence of researching before the game, then commit to such bet. If after betting you felt that something is not right, then feel free to early cashout and take the fee as your L.

What do you think, is using the cashout feature a losing strategy afterall?
In my view, the cashout feature provided by the casino is more about flexibility or your key to reducing losses in your bets, the aim is to control your deeper losses.

I absolutely agree with you.

Sometimes, there are days where you just feel like the world is against you despite being successful in the past. Even if there is an implied fee by cashing out early, just do it because it's just not that worth it to lose your mind over these things that can potentially snowball into a bigger problem.

What do you think, is using the cashout feature a losing strategy afterall?

Don't get me wrong, but for me, cashout feature is more of a "securing profits" rather than a losing strategy.
I mean as long as you're fine with the money that you can get when you cash out then why look at it as a losing strategy?

I was about to ask the same question, because I don't understand why people are saying that cashing out is a losing strategy when you're cashing out in profit, cashing out is Said to be a Lossing strategy that's when you are cashing out at loss. Of course there are gamblers who makes cash out and sometimes they will not even recover Thier staking amount, this way it is no longer a good strategy but a Lossing strategy. Personally i like making cashing out but not when I'm not in profit, I only do this when I'm in profit. so anyone who is making use this method need to ensure that they are cashing out in profit.

You have a point. It's just that people use cash out feature all the times and it's a lossing game when you do it often. It's only for special reasons one should use the cash out feature. That reason is best know to the bettor. When a  feature just pops up in any gambling or casino sites, just know it will always favour them. But you can find loop holes and use it to your advantage. I am not against cash out feature as it's a good thing. You just have to know when to use it. With practice and time, you'll know. But using it all the time is dangerous. I will put it like that.

If you supposed to win $100 from a $60 bet, amounting to $40 profit. If the game is not about to be over, the betting site can put the cash out at $80 or below. There are times that it will be below the amount that you staked.

What if you cash out $80 because the match was favouring you but the match favoured you to the end, that means you lost $20.

In some ways, if the match favour your bet, it is still a loss so far the match has not ended.

This is saying the same thing in trading that to cut loss is also a losing strategy.
Yes, I heard some people who said that before and I feel so weird about it. The tool is even called as 'stop-loss', so that should obviously mean to stop losing or to prevent further losses if in case some loss have occurred already. But that being said, it also can depend on the situation. Stop-loss and cash-out can be so useful or not really, depending on the situation and also on the user that is using them. This is why some experienced user are still comfortable gambling and trading without using the said features.

Well, you choose what you want to. To continue bleeding in losses or to do something to stop the more severe pain and losses.
I'd choose to cash out if ever I have the decision to make and there's a need to cut the losses.
That's what I'll do by then. To cash out if it's necessary at least I won't lose my whole bet.
Yes, we all have a different view. For us, a bleeding asset is what makes us to panic already but for some, this is only temporary. Not using a stop-loss can ensure that they won't experience any losses after the price have recovered and even make more money.
