I need to buy something with credit card, but only got crypto. Is there a trusted service like this somewhere? Any help appericated

I know some exchanges can issue you a virtual card. My experience is that with ByBit, there's a virtual debit card for it. ^{(I think it's a visa card)} and then you can use it like a normal debit card.

Although there might be restrictions on where you are from, especially if it's in the EU or other regulated heavy countries.

Do you know if the card Bybit is issuing is from a European bank? The website I'm trying to buy from keeps rejecting cards from other countries. And most sites dont tell what country their card is issued in

Do you mind sharing what is the garbage merchant you are trying to buy from? I've never heard about that. It's one thing for a company not to accept a certain type of card, such as American Express, but they doesn't accept cards depending on the country where they were issued? In other words, would it accept a Visa issued by an Italian bank but not one issued by a U.S. bank?

I don't know if I am missing something here.

We use Stripe as our payment processor; they provide us with a list of high-risk countries for chargebacks, and we block transactions from these regions to prevent fraud."

I don’t know what you’re trying to buy there, or whether you can only buy it there, but for me that answer would be enough to rule that site out as one I’d want to do business with. Millions of people travel all over the world using cards – mainly Visa and MasterCard issued in their home country – and have no trouble spending money in their destination country.

Card country is knowable before you spend: issue the virtual card, take the first eight digits, put them into any BIN lookup, and you get the issuing bank and its country, which is exactly what the shop's processor checks. For what it's worth, Bybit's EEA terms name the issuer as Harmoniie SAS, a French EMI under ACPR, so that one should read as European. Before switching cards at all though, try the wallet route: if that checkout offers Google Pay or Apple Pay, add the card in the phone's wallet app and pay through that button instead of typing the number. A card tokenized on the device presents a device token from a reserved BIN range, not the card's own number, so the country filter ends up looking at a different BIN than the one that got you rejected, and the device confirmation also counts toward the strong authentication the merchant says it is filtering for. I have paid this way myself where the typed card number was refused, so it does work in practice. Has to be the wallet on the phone though, a card saved in the browser still sends the real card number.
