~but I think something around $256k is quite possible, considering that Bitcoin adoption could easily increase tenfold from today's 400 million users.
If you want to be at peace, it is better not to have these high expectations about Bitcoin because even if Bitcoin will go that high, you don't know when it will happen and if it will even be during the time of your children. ~ Actually, I don't mind. But I think $250k+ will happen much earlier than some people expect. If look at the history of ATHs of Bitcoin posted in thread, you'll see that any other ATH was looking as fantastic as $250k is looking today. Who would expect hat BTC would go from $1k to $19k in fours years? I think now reaching a new ATH can take 4 years from 2025, but not more than that.

Not sure how long I need to hold Bitcoin to have opportunity call income as success than just income. So far we are we uncertain when will Bitcoin price goes up and reaches current ATH. If it gets back to ATH, our income will only be doubles. As it is asked in topic, small investment, then it is needed to wait nobody knows how long, just to double the money. I think buying top altcoins have more chances of bringing good profit. At least you will have more opportunities to gain by fixing small profit monthly.
Altcoins are a direct way to completely lose our assets, turning it into a handful of useless coins that will fall to the lowest levels of our values and will remain there indefinitely. And this will make you a reluctant investor with an uncertain future. It's better to just invest in bitcoin and not waste time exploring altcoins. Because if you invest exclusively in bitcoin, then in any case you will not lose with such an investment. Bitcoin is time-tested, it is updating its technology, and I do not know a single long-term holder who would be disappointed in bitcoin as an investment. The main thing is not to withdraw this asset to fiat, the investment is solely based on discretionary income.

In this thread we are discussing Bitcoin and long term investment so it is better not to put anyone at risk by asking them to invest in fraudulent coins or altcoins in the market. Bitcoin is the only coin in which investment is safe and if you think Bitcoin and altcoins are the same then you are confused. It is better not to mislead anyone by asking them to invest in altcoins and there are many new people who are willing to invest if they hear about altcoins then they can face losses by investing in these fraudulent coins. Our goal is, we only need, Bitcoin or the topic of this thread is Bitcoin. Bitcoin market is volatile there is no certainty that you will profit if you invest. But yes the person who has been able to hold it in the long term has been successful so far and if you hold it in the long term the chances of success are much higher than short term investment.

Yes, it is not just patience or long-term investment that will make an investor profitable. Patience is very important when investing in Bitcoin. Similarly, consistency is also important. Consistency makes all the complex tasks of life easier. The same is true for Bitcoin. If you maintain consistency in Bitcoin, this habit will make it easier for you to invest and you will be able to continue investing with more interest.
Through the DCA strategy, your small investment in small amounts will eventually turn into a large asset. Although you will not be very profitable in comparison, you will own a good amount of BTC. And if in the future the market price of Bitcoin is higher than your average purchase price, then there is a possibility of profiting according to the difference between the purchase price and the sale price by selling these small investments.
If someone wants to profit from Bitcoin, then he must wait for the right cycle and the right time.
If someone is investing continuously in Bitcoin for long term then during course of his investment journey, he will have situations when he has some extra cash available like getting a bonus from his job or he has spare cash at the time of dip. Such situations are an opportunity to increase your Bitcoin stash specially for those who don't have adequate number of Bitcoins. Those who are determined to increase the number of Bitcoins they have, will take full advantage of such opportunities. Our first goal is to increase number of Bitcoins we have, then its possible to see good profit in future if price of Bitcoin goes up. Very correct, a golden opportunity to stash up. But it is also based on personal target, increasing Bitcoin stash would mean that your target is not yet met. Investing in Bitcoin continuously can easily means using DCA strategy and when opportunity of extra funds that is almost all discretionary is received, increasing Bitcoin stash maybe during a dip becomes an added advantage. Honestly this will multiply the investors chances of getting good profit in future. Dip is more like an opportunity, when the opportunity presents itself all you have to do is take the opportunity if you have a discretionary income, there are people who have been buying and investing in Bitcoin on a regular basis, they’re buying through the DCA, and it’s been more appreciated, there are individuals who keep some money aside, just specifically to buy a dip, that doesn’t mean they will be waiting for the dip before they can buy bitcoin. There are also people who would prefer to watch and speculate about the market and dip, not until they come across a dip they will not buy bitcoin.

It's a shame that considering how long you have been here, you have still not understood that investment in alt coin is like gambling, and even the top alt coin you are speaking off is not that as good, reliability and have the confidence of most investors, but rather the top alt coin you spoke of are still shitty, but are less shitty as the other alt coin, not that they are not shitty at all . So it's high time you understand that risking your money in alt coin when Bitcoin is available will only land you in regret , because this your quest for more profit will only get you burnt, since alt coin will always shows it true colours of falling more than they rise sooner or later. Before you make loud announcement that I understand or dont understand something, why dont you make first read topic name and what was asked? It is a shame that you ignore all the pages and original post, take something out from context and post your reply. Long story short - do you really think that investing in small can give good profit? What is more real to get 200% profit (that OP wants to get), with Bitcoin or with altcoin? I do understand that altcoins are more risky than Bitcoin, but I believe it will take a lot more time to get 200% with Bitcoin than with top altcoin. Many compare altcoins with gambling, but dont you think that any investment is gambling? Until sold, everything is gambling and risky.

We spend a lot of money on things we don't really need. If everyone optimized even a small part of their impulse spending and invested that money into bitcoin on a regular basis, then four years later they would likely see a nice return on their investment. Even small amounts, invested consistently over time, can quietly grow into one significant investment. As for altcoins, they come with higher risks, especially the newly launched ones. However, I think some of the well-established altcoins in the top 10 are also worth considering, as they've already proven themselves to some extent. Personally, I focus mainly on bitcoin because it's the asset I understand best. I don't want to spread my investments across too many different coins. It's much easier to keep track of one, two, or three cryptocurrencies than an entire portfolio of them. Everyone has their own investment strategy. The important thing is that more and more people are beginning to understand that money should be invested so it can generate more money. And even if bitcoin "only" delivers a 200% return over four years, I still think that's an excellent alternative to many other investment options.

I think now reaching a new ATH can take 4 years from 2025, but not more than that.
I also think that in next 4 years we might see another ATH far higher than the current ATH. I expect the next ATH to be over $200k at least, but there's possibility that it could reach or cross even $250k. However in next few years I don't expect Bitcoin to cross $1 million, that will happen in future but not before 2035 I guess. I think once Bitcoin reaches $200k then investors will gain more confidence and that means we might see it going up and forming multiple ATH's in next bull run like it did in this bull run.

I have not forgotten how volatile Bitcoin can be especially when everything is in a alignment for profits but if we consider that a lot of players are now involved in Bitcoin and the volatility have greatly reduced, then we have to realign our plans and target to suit the present market conditions. We can continue to accumulate for long and instead of expecting huge profits within one cycle, we can increase the duration to over 10 years since Bitcoin is a resistant to inflation, meaning the value of our money will not depreciate. My point in general is that profits is still possible in Bitcoin and long-term hold is still the right option but anyone with the ambition of getting 10x ROI in a short period like the next halving year, such person is not being realistic and such will only earn him heartbreak.
An investor's savings do not rest on the assumption of one-day prices. Rather, regularity and consistency are the main goals of savings. You are waiting for something that may not come under the pretext of a fall in prices. We can never guarantee that a fall in prices will happen. Perhaps he may have to buy at a higher price later or he may not be able to enter the market in an attempt to estimate the price. When a saver sits with cash just hoping for a fall in prices, he is actually slowing down his savings process. As an investor, buying by assuming a one-day price is not an investment plan, but the main purpose of investment is to buy slowly and strengthen one's position with regular discretionary income. We can take advantage of a fall in prices if we have extra reserves at that time. But regular buying is the main plan of investment and a fall in prices is part of that plan.

Four years is still small to start talking about profit as a long term bitcoin investor because your bitcoin stash will be in a small size because you're DCAing with small amount of money. It's good that when you're DCAing, you have the mindset to accumulate more than four years by having a bitcoin target as you're accumulating bitcoin. Your target will determine how long you will be in your accumulation phase. As for altcoins, they come with higher risks, especially the newly launched ones. However, I think some of the well-established altcoins in the top 10 are also worth considering, as they've already proven themselves to some extent. Altcoins is the worse option any one in the cryptospace will think of putting money into because, they depreciate in price overtime and will lead you to losses and regrets. I wouldn't advice anyone to involve in such gambling practice.

The mistake most people that invested in alt coin have is their mindset, they believe that if they invest in five different alt or meme coin, if three or four can pump hard, then they would be in good profit, but in most occasions reality have a different thing kept in store for them, because since investment in them are more of gambling, their are huge chances that their investment might failing, and out of the total of five, majority may not go as they expected, it's only those that are lucky that will get what they want, that's why I will not classify them as investment because it's just like taking a gamble that will likely not end well. Altcoins or memecoins can be called a high risk short term trade but can never be called an investment. Winning the lottery can make someone rich overnightbut that can never be called a long-term wealth creation strategy. Many people think that spreading money across 5-10 different altcoins means portfolio diversification. But in reality they are not diversifying they are basically increasing the number of bets in gambling. On social media or in the news we only hear stories of those 1-2% of people who bought a memecoin and became millionaires overnight. But no one keeps the news that the remaining 98% of people behind have reduced their entire capital to zero. If anyone wants to invest their hard-earned money in altcoins after seeing this one-sided story then I would say, brother you are shooting yourself in the foot. We have to accept some bitter truths in this regard History and stability of altcoins: If you look at history it can be understood that most of the altcoins that were most popular in 2017 or 2021 have disappeared from the market today or their prices have decreased by 90-95% compared to the previous highest peakATH and have almost come down to zero. Most altcoins do not actually bring any working technology or project their real purpose is to create huge hype and fill the pockets of big investors and coin developers. Real investment vs. gambling: Real investment has some solid foundations behind it such as the limited supply of the thing Scarcity and the acceptance of people around the world Network Effect which is clearly present in the case of Bitcoin. On the other hand, there is no real power behind altcoins there is only temporary hype and a circle of making quick money. So pouring money into altcoins without understanding it just hoping that the price will increase by 10 to 100 times is the same as going to the casino and betting.

As far I am concerned, in the process of investing in Bitcoin, I don't see anything that can stop you from buying continuously because setting aside some portion of money specifically for the dip is definitely a very wrong move. If really you are very consistent with your DCA method I don't think you will be having problem with your accumulation, the DCA allow you to invest with rest of mind, and even at the period of dip, you will still have advantage of getting more bitcoin than someone that have aside money for it. Simply because that particular person will not concentrate on DCA method seriously because he is always after the dip and that is also a distraction.

The truth is bitcoin is not in its 'affordable' stage for a small income investor that wants to make quick profit that's why most people go after shitty coins which i would not advice. But, if you are looking for a valuable asset my advice will be buy bitcoin with whatever amount you can spare and hold for a very long time. Just take as a life time investment that way you won't panic and rush to sell at any given pump in price.
Having a small income is not an excuse for anyone to go after shit coins. If you lose your money, you are on your own. Haven’t you see where someone with a small income has been buying consistently more than someone who has a huge income? Bitcoin investment is not about how much you earn, as long as you can have some money to invest. Bitcoin investment is all about mindset and consistency. You may have the money, but lack the patience to endure the stress of the market changes. If along the line the price of Bitcoin preforms very well, then that is really a good achievement for all investor's. But I think it will be better if small investors have a realistic mindset when starting their investment journey, because keeping your expectations real actually help you from being disappointed or even making any emotional decisions.
From the moment everyone starts investing in Bitcoin, I believe they already have a plan for how long they plan to hold. Despite this, everyone understands there is always a chance of losing money in this investment. Perhaps if the market does not go the way we expect in the future, everyone will be disappointed after the yeast of sacrifices. But at least we knew from the beginning that it involves risks and the chance of losing our money.

There is nothing wrong in ssomeone facing reality and accepting that profit is not guaranteed in Bitcoin. It doesn’t mean Bitcoin is a bad investment and that they shouldn’t invest, the mindset is even what will help them to understand the risks involve and make better decisions. Every investment decision should start with “that understanding” Facing reality is the first step toward becoming a prudent investor, this must be rationally accepted before buying Bitcoin, as no one can guarantee that its price will rise tomorrow, next week, or next month. The reason most investors continue to accumulate Bitcoin is not a desire to get rich quick, but rather its strong fundamentals, scarcity, robust network, and the ability to self-custody their holdings. They know that Bitcoin is a risky investment, yet they have strong fundamental reasons to continue gradually increasing their holdings. There are no guarantees, but there is a probability based on scarcity, adoption, and history. I assume the mindset you are referring to is a resilient one necessary for staying the course; if beginners want to survive in Bitcoin, they need to adopt the attitude of "I could be wrong" which ensures they invest only using discretionary income and "I will keep learning" from this forum by drawing on the experiences shared by others and past mistakes. There are excellent opportunities for beginners with limited capital to make a profit with Bitcoin; just avoid going "all-in" start small, keep learning, and store your holdings securely. I like this statement of accepting the risks before buying Bitcoin. The only thing some beginners or newbies tends to understand is, to be successful in bitcoin investment journey it has to do with more consistency rather than looking for perfect price entry. Alots of folks today have spent much of their time waiting for the perfect time, they ended up having nothing while the smartest one's have been accumulating bitcoin and holding it quietly over a period of time.
