This is something unbelievable that when you so much have believe on something or even so much trust a particular Team win they often failed people. Realistically I didn't even believe that Spain could win Argentina 1-0 where even most of my friends where fans of Argentina including me because I have that trust on Argentina.
To my latest surprise, Spain took over by 1 and that is what its ended with.

Spain dominated France and Argentina barely escaped Egypt, haha, what was your faith in Argentina based on? The only thing that can be considered shocking is that Spain did not win in regular time (apparently bringing huge profits to the bookmakers), thereby burning a lot of bets. I was among those who lost money on this game, but overall the tournament turned out to be profitable, including because in the early rounds, when Argentina played against weak teams and used the help of the referee, I bet on them

This the reason why I said bet or gambling usually work the opposite, and when you would be thinking and having confident on specific team to give them direct winning then it would end up disappointing the person.
I think, I have really learnt something big from this game because when the populace is going the same direction then going on the opposite could actually be the winning team.

Its not really advisable for one to always place a bet because majority  says so without confirming anything about them and gambling is not something that one should hope on that it will go or play the way you want. Its better for one to bet and expect nothing, that way even if you don't win your bet, it won't wreck you because you knew or have the understanding that the game can either be in your own favour or not, but since you have learn the hard way, I think you won't want to do anything that will make you feel bad in gambling.

Seriously fuck Argentina, their players act like classless monkeys when they win and they act like street thugs when they lose. Have people seen videos of their behaviors last night during and at the end of the match? No wonder they are generally disliked in their region and worldwide, and if FIFA wasn't a corrupt and useless shit organization they would issue a 10 year ban on the whole country. No cups, no friendlies, nothing. This is how you teach animals to behave, there is no other way -- they only understand strong discipline.

People who say that a game will finish in a certain way only because they have placed bets on its are delusional idiots though. Spain played excellently, they definitely deserved this win with even a bigger score difference. They also behaved correctly during and at the end of the match. There was justice in the world at least for one moment and one event.

I was routing out for Argentina to win the world cup but from the beginning of the match and the way Argentina come just to defend and not play football against spain made me change my mind and I didn't feel bad for Argentina not winning because the mentality they went with in the game was very poor and didn't even have a shot on target, it was embarrassing because we were expecting a toe to toe game where the atmosphere will be tensed with the performance from both teams but it was only Spain that was playing the game and Argentina was defending and packing bus.

Though I didn't stake a bet on the Argentine team to win but they had my support and unfortunately it went the way it did, I will like to congratulate Spain for a deserving win because they showed up with a very high spirit to win the game without going to penalty shootout and the Argentina team wanted a penalty shootout because their goal keep Martinez is good at it, all the same congratulations to Spain for winning the World Cup.

Easy would be the wrong way to put it, but the game was owned by Spain the whole time literally. Argentina was not doing anything at all other than "trying" to play like adults, but they played like children. As I have said, based on both the player performance and their attitude this game should have been won with a bigger score differences. There was some referee helping as well, but people don't notice it that well unless they get upset by something say Argentina actually leading in the match. So despite all of this, the monkeys from Latin America still lost and literally chimped out at the end at their loss. Overall, a disappointing world cup because Argentina should have never made it this far -- they have gotten way too many controversial decisions in their favor to boost them up for a chance to win, well defend the cup. I am glad that it didn't happen.

Not in this life nor another did I hope to see Spain qualify for the finals, let alone win the world cup. 0-0 against Cape Verde, 0-1 against Uruguay and it was infact, the toughest match for them as their opponents dominated them throughout these games. That was enough to make anyone doubt their abilities. When they knocked France out of the game, I felt the strange energy in the game and I knew they are here to stay.

I bet on Spain, but my bet has lost because it only covers not with the extra time. But for those who have bet on Argentina, they're not just Messi fans, but they acknowledge that it's also a strong team. So, there's no regret for betting on Argentina because we've seen how they've made it to the finals, and it took extra time. I was quite sure Spain could beat Argentina, but I was also quite sure France would have beaten Spain and England would have beaten Argentina, so I was open to the possiblity of Argentina winning too, especially after seeing the referees give a special treatment to Argentinian national team.

But after all, the most logical scenario took place, unlike what we have seen on the previous games of this world cup. Spanish team is solid and stable, what proved to make total difference on long run. To just have a fierce offensive power like France or a strong impenetrable defense like Paraguay isn't enough. The balance between offense and defense is the key, as Spain showed us.

I honestly had fears that Argentina could win but that did not blind my mind to not see the possibilities around Spain wining too. I feel very proud Spain won in the end.

I don't believe there was any intention or that fifa had any intention of rigging the world Cup for Argentina, I mean why would they in the first place? They didn't rig the world Cup for USA which is the country with the most powerful president as most of us assume, and also because the US is one of the notable countries that hosted the world Cup tournament this year.
The didn't also rig the world Cup for Switzerland which is one of the two countries the current fifa president holds a citizenship because he was born in Switzerland, why would they have wanted to rig the world Cup for Argentina?

You guys should always try to get your facts right before making unverified claims, the 2026 world Cup has been fair to all countries that participated all from the beginning to the very end, and so was also was fifa fair in the 2022 World Cup that produced Argentina as the winner.

It was a passable match...
Surprisingly, for some reason, such a striking football figure as Messi attracted many women to the screens watching this final match.  My friend said that his wife had read the stories about Yamal being washed by Messi and now she found all the actions of these players on the field very interesting. Apparently, women are very fond of symbolism and other things, since it even attracts them to football. As for me, in the country where I live, this match ended very late and I still feel pain in my eyes, but of course it was worth it.
I expected to see more action from Messi, and I felt sorry for him when he cried.

Argentina was expected to win and that's the expectations of most. That was, because Argentina was considered as the stronger team over Spain. But with fate, Spain defeated Argentina. And that I would say, a lot lost their bets because more than likely, a lot are betting on the favorite.

Now, there a new blood here, Yamal. And Messi is passing his torch to the younger blood. But still big respect to one of the legends of this sports. Because of Messi, a lot of people around the globe got engaged or got interested in this sports. For sure, there are so many younger kids who idolize Messi. I thought it would be argentina that will win the final. I didn't had Spain in my mind because of how FIFA was favouring argentina from the beginning. Spain players really impressed me their performance wasn't what I expected because didn't expect they will play that well. Argentina performance was very poor it was in the extra time that they even play well against Spain. Giuliano Simeone could've been argentina saviour but he missed that opportunity when he shot the ball above the goal post. If Giuliano Simeon had directed the ball to a good angle he would have score.
