I knew that anything could actually happen because both teams are actually good. It is a big disappointment to the fans of Argentina that they lost the game after getting hyped up and saying that Messi is going to win the world cup for his country, this is the reason why it is important not to underestimate any team because you cannot really tell if they're going to win or lose, it's so sad that Argentina end ended up losing. I as a barcelona fan have always supported argentina and Messi i might have to say that i supported Argentina just because of messi and it was the same case yesterday but if i had to say then spain totally dominated Argentina. As i said i was a barca fan so if either one of them won i would’ve been and i am happy. And spain won a totally deserved match, it’s a miracle they didnt score more goals thanks to Argentina and their luck as it would’ve easily been 3-0

I have been predicting the possible victory of the Spanish national team since before the World Cup began. It is not a great feat, because I am Spanish and it was expected on my part as such, in addition to the fact that I remember that the national team started as favourites, along with France.

They couldn't any potential attack  in the 120 minutes and couldn't keep the ball in their control properly. They played worse in the final than they played in the entire World Cup.

I have always know it will become like a thug of war between Spain and Argentina because they are both great teams with packs of experience.  Before the match I forecast it to be Spain 2:1 Argentina. But not withstanding no problem all games can not be the same, I hope Messi will be fine after this game knowing that this might be his last world cup match. He has done great and made us all of his fan's proud.

I had the confidence that they would play full 90+ minutes goalless and they would also play extra time goalless and get to penalties. Then Argentina would eventually get the upper hand because of Martinez. But football is no one's friend when it comes to predictions and assumptions. That’s how football works, before the match everyone has their own predictions based on how the team perform. Many people supported Spain because they played better throughout the tournament while others supported Argentina because of their experience and how good they are. For me, just because Messi is in Argentina doesn’t mean that they will win every final. Football doesn’t work that way.

Any team that played well, stay disciplined and take their chances are the ones who will carry the trophy. Spain showed a great performance from the beginning of the tournament. Well I never saw this coming, but it's not a big deal for Spain to win Argentina, of course in football someone must win and the other lose, let's not make Argentina and Spain case to look like something different form other football game. The only thing is that Argentina was over hyped because of Messi and now the corner stone has become the rejected stone. Man, I feel you completely! It's wild how football always finds a way to shock us. Honestly, I actually backed Spain to win this one, but even I didn't see that coming. I was predicting a tight 2-1 victory for Spain, or at least a draw pushing it into penalties.But watching Argentina play like that? Total disaster.
