This many sound funny ,but I don't gamble because a celebrity stake high and have confidence in the game,I know how many times it failed me , because I followed one guy on Twitter and his a high staker ,but I end up losing most of my bet because I believe in his stake ,ever since them I don't do such ,I look at my stats ,do my analysis carefully before betting ,even if I lost I don't have to blame anyone for my failure , because sometimes the people you hope on or trust ,still may not get things right the way you expected it .

On a serious note, gambling base on other people's decision of the games is not even advisable because they may not have done their analysis critically as you would have done. It doesn't matter who's involved, be it a celebrity influencer it doesn't guarantee such a bet to be successful. Some of them even fake it just to promote the gambling company which they may be representing secretly. It's really stupid  because you might develop some unexplainable confidence on the game that you can go ahead staking high about your limit because of your confidence of the source it's coming from.

It is funny. the thing is this, some times these celebrities gambling are motivated by some sponsorship or collaboration with some of these big bookies who make hell of a money out of such decisions and partners too. Celebrities like Drake are very big names that will attract all kinds of partnerships and deals with, so you might be a bit more independent than depending on their bets. They may lose in your presence but you can not tell if they truly lost in reality.

Drake has been the type that has been kind of reckless when it comes to betting, when he supports a team he goes all out to stake a lot of money on them and I keep on wondering how he's able to cope emotionally when he incurs such losses. Drake has lost a lot due to his recklessness and initially I didn't really know why it is called the drake's curse until started understanding why people say that, it almost feels like drake's bet is a jinx to the matches even though that might not really be the case, it all just happens coincidentally.

Oh no, I don't believe in such bs. The better team on the field won. If drake wants to break his, 'curse', he should just bet on favorite, and should be winning most of the games — I understand in some games both teams are pretty much equal but in this particular one, Spain was favorite already.

We do not know the rules of the contract between Stake and Drake, what if the money actually comes out of his pockets just like the people that are posting for Stake on this forum by wearing Stake's signature, avatar and personal texts? We should not just make conclusion. But it is possible that he used the money he wanted from Stake endorsement to make the bet but in a way the money is his and lost it when he bet and lost the bet.

If he used endorsement money, it was his money that he lost but you know often casinos deposit money into their promoters account, for 'em to gamble and to promote casino; I drift more towards the latter.

Well, you cant really be able to remove into someones mind or gambling or betting community about that curse considering into his past bets on which it turned out that its a total loss whenever he bet into it but i do agree on what you have said that no one controlled the outcome or results on which not only Drake had lost up this bet but there are tons who do really believe that Argentina would be able to win up but of course we do know that outcome and results would definitely unpredictable as always. I've often wondered if Drake isn't betting real money, or if he's just part of a promotional campaign for various casinos. But I'm not sure, because I don't know where he bets, whether it's always at the same casino or at different casinos. Even if he does bet at the same casino, it could also be part of their marketing ploy to promote the casino. So I've never taken Drake's bets seriously.

This is honestly not the first time drake is placing a bet like this, if he was a poor dude who obviously can not afford $1.5m to bet on a match, then we all would have doubted him and believe stake definitely have a hand in the bet, but drake is a wealthy guy like I said before, and the fact that he cashed out the bet before the match ended when he saw that Argentina can't win the match proved that he is real.

If I had seen a post that mentioned Drake betting on Argentina, I really wouldn't have changed my mind despite the whole Drake curse that is known by all. I would have stood by my choice (I didn't bet though)...

Not always. There are times those celebrities are fans of a football super star and if that super star is playing, they will have the confidence that their supported team would win and with that mindset, they would like to deposit huge amount to win back X times of the capital and the have forgotten that, best players do mistake more in the pitch. And for Drake, $1.5 millions is not a big money for him even though it is from his personal wallet or account. The company will still pay him back and also the previous bet he won't is still there for him to spend. So he didn't loss much.
