In a few days I am going to host a $6,000 cash prize POKER tournament. Here is what I have in mind:

 Group stage
- 6 group rounds with FREE Entry, each group round will have $400 GUARANTEED cash prize pool.
- 3 winners from each group round will share the prize pool (1st $200, 2nd $120 and third $80)
- The 1st place from each round will earn a FREE ticket for the Grand Final

 Grand final
- A GUARANTEED prize pool of $1500 is allocated
- Top 10 place will share the prize pot.
- The 6 group round winners will join FREE using their earned tickets
- To join the grand final, one need to buy ticket. One can purchase up to 3 tickets and can rejoin until the 10th level of the game (I will define the level later however possibly we are looking at a 30 level game) in case they are out from the table.
- Each ticket will cost $50 and there are no refund will be issued.
- If we can sale a minimum 10 tickets then we will add additional $1,100 with the prize pool to make the final pot $2,600
- If we can sale a minimum 20 tickets then we will add $2,100 instead of $1,100 with the prize pool to make the final pot a massive $3,600!

 Grand final prize distribution
Considering we will achieve the minimum 20 tickets in the grand final. In that case, the total prize pool is $3,600.

• 1st winner 30% = $1,080
• 2nd winner 15% = $540
• 3rd winner 10% = $360
• 4th winner 6.4% ≈ $230
• 5th winner 6.4% ≈ $230
• 6th winner 6.4% ≈ $230
• 7th winner 6.4% ≈ $230
• 8th winner 6.4% ≈ $230
• 9th winner 6.4% ≈ $230
• 10th winner 6.4% ≈ $230

I leave the topic open for discussion. Interested players require to whitelist their forum username using a bech32 address to receive the rewards in the group stage games. Anyone can buy ticket to join the grand final.

Just making sure you are doing math correct. Guaranteed $1500 prize pool but if 10 tickets are bought($500) you'll add $1100 to the prize pool? So you'll pay 600 from your pocket? Then if 20 tickets are bought($1000) you'll drop $1100 from your pocket?

Sorry about your frustration nutildah. It's a serious tournament so we will make sure there will be no duplicate players on the table. The list above is copied from an old list and I have not updated it from long time. Still do you want me to remove you from the list? Let me know.

This is a great idea and very happy to see poker events coming back after the World Cup break. I have played in a few of your previous tournaments and they were always enjoyable not just for the prizes, so I’m definitely interested here but under some conditions.

I do have to agree with nutildah though. In previous events I always felt that some people were using multiple accounts, and we even caught one before with vald proofs. I just like to see a system that keeps things fair, maybe by requiring a minimum account age or rank and not allowing accounts with red trust for alt abuse to participate. That would give everyone more confidence in the tournament. Otherwise, we will see so many alts ruining everything and taking advantage.

Hi guys,

after talking to Royse, my suggestion is to have a $5 buy-in for the qualifier rounds and those $5 will go towards a knockout bounty pot. That way we will have a $5 bounty per knockout. It makes the game more exciting and we have a small barrier to enter the tournament. In my opinion still tool low, but the goal is to find a middle ground.

Since Royse has a lot to do, I offered my help to count the knockouts. I won't be recording anything, so the idea is that there will be a google form and everybody has to submit the pokernow link for a knockout hand (or multiple), I will check all submitted links and credit the knockouts accordingly to you guys. There will be further details, but this is the idea we would like to stick to. The $5 buy-in is to be paid in USDT BSC.
