In this topic, there is no clear mention on what are criteria taken care to conclude for issuing signature ban.

(1) It is said, based on overall post history.

I am not sure what superpower nutildah got to go through 5000+ posts to find a spammer in 24 hours or a week of time.

So, it is based on campaign where they are enrolling and I noticed mostly hero/legendary members were the targets so far.

(2) Based on merits.

For very long time, it has been complained here and there that posts are merited for face-value (known accounts) rather than for the quality of content.

Local board posters get more merits than English posters as same accounts frequent same board(s).

(3) 100+ page or 100+ replies cannot define a spam as the sports or casinos topics are different from other real spam topics.


Right now sigban is happening in really really UNFAIR way due to lack of proper guideline and warning.

Please consider set of rules and regulation for issuing sigban rather than just based on rank level or signature campaign enrolled.

Please consider about issuing warning to give a second chance and if no improvement, then obviously sigban will enforce to improve (which is already in practice).

Finally, definition of spam is differing person to person. So, proper guidelines would help.

You can't take it literally. You don't have to check user's all posts, even if you surf few pages of user, you still can get an idea. Sure, it makes more sense to check 'recent' compared to 'older' as there should be improvement.

It is better you people focus on good posting than facing what you supposed not to face, many posts are seen as low quality but you will not agree with that. I don't think there's any need for panic. I asked Nutildah a few questions and his answers made believe that we could be over thinking the whole thing. In the end, only notorious spams will receive the signature ban.

Will you sig ban users based on previously left AI tags by individuals, or this thread marks a new beginning for all.

No, I'm not issuing any retroactive sig bans for AI tags. Its a "new beginning" alright, but I'm not sure we're thinking the same thing.

If you will sig ban users posting previously expressed ideas, this will leave many people banned after the 5th page of every thread.

I'm not being that strict. 5th page is still pretty fresh and young compared to the 1765th page.

So far I haven't seen nutildah do sigban based on ranking levels or specific signature campaigns, you can see it here. There are already Full Member to Legendary ranks and there are already several types of campaigns.

Couldn't you learn from profiles that recently got sigban, I think if you look at their profiles and learn the patterns you'll know what the criteria look like.

nutildah is one of the most respected members on the entire forum. If anybody has a problem with him it’s usually a sign that he’s caught them multi-accounting cheating on campaigns, posting AI content or trying to scam, especially when the user giving him shit is a Newbie account.

I did not know the reason you quoted me, I did not in anywhere said I am panicking because of what Nutildah is doing, that is because I am not spamming. Only what I do not support are people that are against him because they see him as a threat but which is not like that. I believe the forum admin that gave him the power to ban users signature will give him guidelines and not that he will just be banning anyone just anyhow, and this forum is not very strict.

There is no need for you to air your views behind a disposable account. Nevertheless first off on a sincere basis it doesn't take reading 30 posts of a user to tell if he's a low quality poster or not. Nobody is judging quality posts by merits plus the merit mentioned is more or less a trivial factor in his actions.

The idea simple is if you are gonna have to make hundreds of posts before a single earned merit then there's a high chance you are probably posting low quality. It's not a conclusion it's a considerable factor rather.

Tens of thousands of members use this forum every day, without a signature ban, but there is still someone who will ask for an additional explanation as to why this rule applies.
After the second chance, you spammers will ask for a third chance and a bunch of additional explanations as to why you are marked as spammers, and that's almost exactly what you're doing here.

I guess you talked about 5000+ posts of a user, not the whole forum, and if it is limited to only one user, it's very unnecessarily to check all posts in that user posting history. Open the post history page, check some latest pages (each page has 20 posts), and it's enough to see the average post quality of that user.

In addition, it's possible to use third party tools like BPIP to check merit history, if merited posts are low quality, and merit history is like exchanging, it's another thing.

When trying to write quality posts, a lot of people act as though they're writing a book report for school: putting facts that we already know into their own words. Nobody wants to read that, and you will not get merit for it. Moreover, the length of your post and the quality of your English are only minor factors. In trying to write a quality post worthy of merit, you should offer new ideas, personal experiences, or perspectives that other forum users will actually find new and interesting.

You have said “probably misusing” in your thread title, yet no evidence of this is presented. That’s because it’s hard to argue against any of the signature bans so far.

If you did happen to get signature banned and though it was unfair, you are not prevented from posting, so it is easy to make an appeal or to demonstrate over time that you’re capable of improvement. These bans are also easily reversible, from what I understand.

Yes, he is Messi of the forum.
He controls the FIFA. There is a rumors he bought the FIFA and he bribed the referee the whole time. However, no one was able to prove it even though the rival fans are accusing him for a long time. nutildah is a Mafia of this forum. He should be banned by thermos as soon as possible.  

But as a Brazil fan, I would say, thermos is backing nutildah and they might have deals under the table. Each time you complaint about something, they just ignore. The fans should raise and do something this time

Merit is hard to earn but people that hustle for it with good posts will earn it, that is what I have noticed on this forum, but I noticed many people have local board advantage. If you noticed that you are not earning merits, just get some of your posts on the merit giveaway thread or on the unmerited/low merited thread where your posts submitted can be reviewed and be seen if it can get some merits. But some people will not do that because they are spamming and they do not even care than the money seen in a less strict campaigns.

The forum does not against alt but what he is doing is what that is wrong. He used the alt because he does not want people to know his main account because it might lead to something not good for him and it can be because his signature has been banned but still having hope.
