I honestly think it is easier to bet on European leagues than on the FIFA World Cup. I say that because last season I did very poorly predicting some results and lost money by betting on the "favorites".

I am glad you are aware that this your strategy isn't a healthy way of gambling.. I've tried it several times, and there have even been people here who experimented by always betting on the favorite in every match, like Arsenal or other top teams. In the long run, it wasn't profitable.

The odds on favorites are simply too low, and all the profits you've made can be wiped out by a single upset, when an underdog beats the favorite. There are no guarantees of winning in the long run when it comes to sports betting.

If you had bet on Arsenal to win every match last season, you'd have made very little profit by the end of the season. Because they had draws and losses, and the odds were often too low.
