The only Turkish team in the Conference League which is Başakşehir has started their journey from the 2nd qualification round. I can't say things have started great for them.

They couldn't even win at home against Inter Turku despite being a much stronger side. This happens to the teams from our league every year. They struggle when they open the new season very early.

With the turkish league going up in quality it looks other teams expect the big three arent big in quality. To draw against Inter Turku that is a really weak team is just dissapointing. Its still the start of the qualification but at home you must win or win big to finish the match up.

Braga barely on the other hand won against Zeleznicar that was really better then Braga and Zeleznicar had a few chances and could have done something but its a shame that they didnt get at least a draw.

As has already been said, i don't think that the teams are giving everything in these friendlies, for this reason they don't care much about demonstrating the true qualities of the team to the fans, those will only be seen once the actual championship has started, only then can we draw our conclusions.

The choice seems a bit difficult, but for now, I'm favoring Atalanta for the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League season. However, Brighton, from England, could also make a difference if Atalanta lacks the ability to compete here. Every season, we've all seen that teams that focus too much on two major trophies from different leagues often suffer from fatigue in their key players, so Atalanta will need to manage this next season to continue to advance in this competition while also fighting in their domestic league.

It would certainly be a great blow for the Italian championship, i repeat of course it is the third most important European competition but returning to win a European title would already be something very positive for the Italian championship which has not seen a victory in Europe since Inter 2010 if we take away Atalanta's victory in the Europa League in 2024.

I think Copenhagen will win today's match. The first match ended in a 3-3 draw on the road. They'll win at home and advance to the next round. Polessya is one of the average teams in the Ukrainian league. Copenhagen is huge though, they are one of Denmark's top teams. They competed in the Champions League last season. They're here because they had a poor season in their own league, this isn't where they normally belong. It's a different experience for them too. I think they'll advance to the group stage of the Conference League.

In the other match, Rapid Wien host FC Santa Coloma at home. This small team from Andorra doesn't stand a chance. Rapid Wien will win again, but many bookmakers haven't even offered odds on them. It's that much of a sure thing.

For those looking to bet today ahead of Thursday's matches, the options are very limited in Conference League. Either save your money for tomorrow or bet on a Copenhagen win and make a parlay with Champions League matches.

Italian clubs need to wake up from their slumber and start fighting to win any of the European competitions that would be played every season. Maybe, their defensive game is really doing more harm to them .

Ajax is a Champions League caliber team, but they're forced to play in the Conference League qualifiers. They're paying the price for their poor performance last season. They scored 4 goals away against Vojvodina, I believe they can score just as many at home.

Başakşehir drew in the first match, they needed to win now. They had an easier job but they blew it, now they have to win under the tough conditions in Finland. If Başakşehir is eliminated in this round, Nuri Şahin should resign. They've assembled a 100 million Euro squad, they can't afford to be eliminated by Inter Turku.

Braga, Austria Wien, Rakow and Gent need to beat their opponents. Aside from these, there aren't many other notable teams. Generally smaller teams are competing in this qualifying round. Many people won't even bother watching matches.

ever since başakşehir won the championship in the 2019–20 season, they’ve qualified for either the europa league or the conference league almost every season, but they still haven’t achieved any clear success. there was a lot of controversy when they won the league title, and there still is; no one can give a clear answer as to how this team suddenly rose to prominence and why it can’t achieve success outside the league. the team they were eliminated by, inter turku was definitely a lower-tier team than them. nuri şahin hasn’t been able to fully establish himself at any club; i’m curious to see what he’ll do after this failure.

Fenerbahçe did just that back in the day. Without those points, Galatasaray wouldn’t have been able to qualify directly for the Champions League.

They do the same thing every year. They get knocked out by ridiculous teams, then disappear from Europe, and because they have so much money, they play comfortably in the league and still manage to qualify for European competition.

The Conference league if you see who is been playing in these qualifying rounds clearly this competition wants to give a chance to lower league teams to play in Europe and I strongly agree with that. Funny enough teams from the country I live from many years now are doing well as they are still playing in Conference and Europa league making me go back to sport betting after a long time and yesterday I won a bet with 1.95 odd by choosing Dinamo City to win against Aluminij in Conference League.

The thing that made me confused how they always inaccurately shooting in this game. 12 shoots but only 1 on target. Other than that their backline seemed non exist in this game. The first goal was due to how indisciline their backline to do aerial duel, then second goal because their backline left a free space.

Their performance is not even reflecting if they were finishing at the top 5. This lose is showing how fragile turkish team these days.

I wanna say sorry for this, but turkish teams seem lose their competitiveness when it comes to the european competition.

I agree with you so much about the "small fan base" part. Başakşehir is really not a team that has so many real fans. I never understood how they even managed to win their league 6 years ago. 

Turkish teams are really not competitive enough in UEFA competitions. It has been like this for many years. I still remember the times once they were even able to qualify for the CL quarter finals and pushed their luck for better.

They were eliminated in the playoff round last season. The season before that, they were eliminated in the group stage. This season, they were eliminated in the preliminary round. Their performance in European competitions has truly been a complete disappointment...

I think in some seasons they throw in the towel early because they don’t take these matches seriously and want to focus more on the league...

Under normal circumstances, there’s a huge difference in squad quality between the two teams. A result like this is a massive surprise. In this situation, I think they are once again choosing to focus on the league...

Besiktas isn’t exactly a mid tier team in the Turkish league, nor would I say the same when we find them in an international league such as we find them competing in right now.
They didn’t have it good against Inter Turku and clearly struggled against Midtjylland before they were done to 10 men but, Besiktas is still a good team and have got a good number of players to win games, I’ll tell you that.

Atalanta has been unstable recently especially last season, I don't know if there is going to be an improvement but I highly doubt that since Palladino is still the gaffer of the team and Brighton as been noticeably getting better, indeed they are high rollers and big candidates to win this new seasons trophy but still I still want to favour FC Midtjylland, I have always saw the potential in them especially for there last season's run in the European Competition.

Sad, the outright odds has not yet out, but we had EPL teams b2b as conference league winners last seasons. So i think Brighton is my most favorite club to win Conference league. Atalanta has been so garbage since they lose Gasperini. So i don't have faith for Atalanta to be favored to win this competition.

As for Monaco, it doubts me because they is so inconsistent in european competition. I can predict Brighton to win the current confirence league. I see no club that can match them in the competition.

The outright odds will be available surely when the qualification ends,i think that after that all odds will be available. Braga if passes qualification can come really far as well. Brighton look like one of the favorites to win but still who knows,England teams have won this tournament a lot in the last couple of years but Italian teams o most always are in the final so i think that Atalanta might have a chance here to win the tournament if the things go right for them. Monaco i think wont win the title,not giving me confidence.

The three clubs listed here are top teams from three top top leagues in Europe and they are well known and respected but football has a way of turning things around beyond our expectations and dew to this I will not want to classify any team as favourites until the season gets underway.

Is going to be a long season and it is my pleasure to watch one of these clubs win the title but I choose to remain objective that there are few more teams with almost equal chance of winning the title.

The number of big clubs in this competition is so low that I never get interested in it until reaching the last stages.    Most of the time it gets more fun as of the semi finals.

That's why I'm not so sure about the future of the Conference League honestly. I know this place is a good opportunity for smaller clubs to do better things.

But we rarely see such clubs winning the title. It's been organized 5 times and 3 of the champions have been from the EPL.

The three teams you mentioned are arguably the strongest among the others especially since they frequently compete in European leagues and even the Champions League. Furthermore this competition provides an opportunity for the big teams to showcase their quality especially after failing to qualify for the Europa League.

However, because the season hasn't even started yet there are still many variables we can analyze to determine who will ultimately emerge as the favorite. Furthermore, the Conference League history of providing surprises might make it easier to predict who will emerge victorious after the league stage is over.

If I were to narrow things down further among the three clubs you mentioned, I would favor Monaco as the most likely to win the trophy. Although this is Filipe Luis first experience coaching a European team considering his track record he has been very successful in the Brazilian league and won important titles with Flamengo. Furthermore, Monaco squad depth is wellnequipped to compete in the Conference League.
