Here's my bet:

Pafos FC - RB Salzburg

In this competition, Pafos hasn't performed well when playing away from home, but at home they have managed to do well. At least that's what happened in the game against Hajduk, where they conceded 2 goals away and didn't score, but at home they scored 4 goals and didn't concede any. In the case of the game against Salzburg, they lost the away game and today they will play at home.

I chose to bet on the goals market, particularly on under 3 goals. I believe the game can have a maximum of 2 goals. Salzburg comes into this game focused on defending a lot, they have an advantage in the tie, while Pafos, despite being at a disadvantage, will also focus a lot on defense because they can't concede a goal. So it's much better for them to focus heavily on defense and counter-attacks to score 1 goal and take the game to penalties if necessary.

In the market I chose to bet on, the odds were @1.70, which I consider a good odd, and I see the risk as acceptable. I'm still considering whether to watch the game or simply follow the result, and these games at this stage make me sleepy when I watch them.

Who would have said that we would watch Salah at Trabzonspor as of now?    He is officially a player of them now for 2 years.



So this means that we are going to watch one of the superstars of football history in the Europa League this year. League phase isn't guaranteed for them yet though.

But if he is registered for the squad of playoff round then I expect Trabzonspor to reach league phase no matter they face Ferencvaros or Gornik Zabrze first. They are much stronger than both technically.

Ferencvaros or Gornik zabrze are team that trabzonspor should be able to win and progress to the league standings of the UEFA Europa league even though Mohammed Salah is not available, but I guess that he may feature in both games if he has already resume training with them, because trabzonspor wouldn't want to take a risk by not featuring their best player in the game. Mohammed Salah is going to add a lot of quality to this trabzonspor team, and if other part of the team is not that porous, I believe that they are really going to do well this season.

Salah is already match-ready. We saw him play for Egypt at the World Cup. He took a vacation after the tournament, but a footballer's vacation isn't like ours—just lounging around, eating, drinking, and swimming.
These guys have to live like professionals.
He is also training with Trabzonspor.
I think we’ll even see him on the pitch for the league match this weekend.
Salah will play in the play-off match. Even if he didn't—well, Trabzonspor is strong enough to eliminate whoever their potential opponent might be—but Salah will be out there on the pitch for those games.

Today, 12 second-leg matches of the Europa League 3rd qualifying round will take place. The most interesting games for me are CSKA Sofia vs Maccabi, Gornik vs Ferencvaros, and Anderlecht vs PAOK. These are matches between roughly equal opponents, which makes predicting the outcomes difficult and therefore they should be the most entertaining. The match Hearts vs Benfica is also interesting. Benfica is the clear favorite, but it will be interesting to watch this team's performance.

Beşiktaş were the better team in the first half, they're still struggling to convert their chances into goals but Cerny scored a nice goal. Olaitan is stepping up his game. Djalo is also playing much better than he did last year.

Hradec Kralove is very low in quality, but their physical strength isn't bad. For that reason they're trying to stay in the game. Beşiktaş need to score a second goal to finish the job totally. Everyone expects them to score more goals against a team like this.
I think Trossard will come into the game in the second half, even if he only gets a few minutes. It will be his first time on the field in front of the fans.

Everything is just fine for Beşiktaş currently. It's 1-0 at halftime and 2-0 on aggregate! Hradec Králové isn't a serious opponent for them so they should even be able to get a bigger win than this.

By the way I see Trossard among the substitutes which is nice.    He is finally ready for his debut seemingly so I hope Vincenzo Italiano gives him a chance in the 2nd half.

In the playoff round they face Zalgiris. It's like free for the Turkish representative to qualify for league phase!

The Turkish side have won two goals and are in a very strong position. The difference in their intensity from the start to the finish of the first half was a good indicator of the unequal levels of the two teams on the field. If only the pace of the game can be sustained, the way to the main European stage now seems even more secure.

But it's essential to bear in mind that Leandro Trossard is an Arsenal frontman, and Vince Italiano an Italian manager. This moving forward with wins is a big thing even though there is confusion in the names.

It looks like Vincenzo Italiano has started to apply his system well already. Beşiktaş have won all of their matches in the Europa League qualifiers so far. This must be like a historical incident for them in UEFA tournaments.

Probably this won't change against Zalgiris in the playoff draw either. They aren't also any serious threat. The Turkish side should be able to make it to league phase nicely.

The same goes for Trabzonspor against Ferencvaros. Salah, Nunez and more have been added to their squad. We should see good results from these moves.
