The result is in, and Milan won. This means that the prediction that it wasn’t certain Milan would beat Salzburg was wrong. In fact, Milan defeated Salzburg 4–0, even though one of their players received a red card.
After Milan defeated Salzburg, Juventus also staged a comeback. While all the Serie A teams have struggled in the Champions League, they’ve all performed well in the Europa League.
What can be said—and this is my assessment—is that Italian soccer is indeed not currently at its highest level.

Milan should have focused on Serie A first and foremost, because beating weaker opponents in the Europa League and hoping to win the tournament to secure a place in the Champions League is definitely not what they should be aiming for. I don't think qualifying for the Champions League through Serie A should have been a problem for them.

AC Milan’s chances of securing a spot in next season’s Champions League through Serie A are wide open, as the gap between them and the teams currently in the top four is not significant—just 4 points with 6 matches already played. Given that Serie A has not yet reached the 10-match mark out of a total of 38, it’s still very much possible for them to achieve this.
As for targeting the Europa League as a route to the Champions League, I don’t think that’s an option for them, since their participation in this season’s Europa League is a direct result of their performance in last season’s Serie A.
The AC Milan squad is aiming for the Europa League title. They are well aware that the Europa League carries less prestige than the Champions League and that the teams competing in it are generally not as strong. While their primary focus in Italy is securing a spot in the Champions League, winning the Europa League would also be a significant achievement for them. Furthermore, it must be said that they possess the strength required to go on and win the competition.

I’ve not been following more of the Italian Seria A league team actually, but all I remember is that AC Milan ordinarily doesn’t belong in the Europa League. I mean it’s just awkward to see teams like them and Juventus playing in the Europa League now, while we have known them to be those teams that usually represent the Italian in the champions league. Thats why they will by any measure try to win the Europa league. Thats what teams that doesn’t belong there do whenever they  find themselves there.

Football has changed to be honest, clubs have made improvements and if a club doesn’t follow the current system of football that might fin themselves in a league they never expected. Not just the Europa league but it could extent to the conference league.

So far in the UEFA Europa League two matches have been played, and from the side of the English team, Sunderland have won two of their matches  defeating SCU Torrense 1-2 in their away match , and team like AFC Bournemouth is also doing well in this very beginning, and have also won two of their opponent Sturm Graz 3-0 in their own home, but Crystal Palace have only won only one match, though this might not be enough evidence to judge their performance in the EUFA Europa League since the league is still in it's initial stage , but any moment from now , we can really know the strength of the English teams, and how far they will likely go in this very tournament.
Every team in 2026/27 UEFA Europa League has played two matches so far among the Premier League clubs Bournemouth and Sunderland have both won two matches but in my opinion another Premier League club Crystal Palace have only won one match, in fact Bournemouth won against Real Sociedad, and Sturm Graz.

Sunderland and Bournemouth are not strong teams in Premier League but still these teams are performing well in Europa League but another thing we noticed is that these two teams faced each other in their domestic league where Bournemouth managed to win but I personally think that this team will be under nervous pressure in the third match of the UEFA Europa League this season.n as they have to prepare to face Italian club AC Milan in that match.

The Europa League may contain average teams, but one thing about the Europa League is that it is always interesting and unpredictable. Sometimes a team you never expected to win the league ends up winning the league title. If AC Milan is aiming to win the league, it will be possible if they focus on their game here and take it seriously. Many big teams that normally find themselves in the Europa League don't put much effort in because they think they are strong enough to win it based on their records.

In recent years, English clubs have dominated this competition and I expect this trend to continue.
The standings are currently led by another Italian club, Juventus, and at the top, with 6 maximum points, are other possible favorites such as Bayer, Benfica, Lyon, etc.
English representatives Bournemouth, Sunderland and Crystal Palace are also at the top of the standings and I think one of these clubs could continue the tradition of English winning this competition that Aston Villa and Tottenham started in recent years.
This is still an early stage of the competition and it is too early to predict who will win this competition.

Every team never wants to perform badly on purpose, but they perform badly because of some mistakes. For example, there are different types of problems like tactical problems in the team, difficulty in adapting to the new coach's tactics, lack of good relations with the players, injury problems, etc. First of all, the team needs to find out where they are weak and identifying that place is the biggest thing. If AC Milan is able to identify these problems at the moment, then we will definitely see a lot of good things from them, I think they will be able to overcome these problems very quickly.

This season may end that dominance. With the presence of Juventus, Benfica, AC Milan and Leverkusen, the current season's fight may be very difficult for the English clubs. The English do not have any big names to beat the mentioned teams and win the title. I do not think Bournemouth, Sunderland or Crystal Palace will be able to give anything good in the current season's fight. The performance of these teams is very inconsistent. If the dominance of the English clubs is seen this season too, then I will be really surprised.

Although we are still in the early stages of the competition. Considering the big names, the English clubs seem very small this season. We can only put the names mentioned in the list of big names.
