Hey everyone,

With more crypto casinos shifting to offshore jurisdictions in 2026, I noticed a lot of confusion regarding the Anjouan Gaming License (ALSI-202606032).

Unlike traditional Curacao setups, Anjouan licenses have been rising in popularity for crypto operators due to strict RNG certification rules while allowing fast crypto withdrawals (BTC, USDT, TRX) without mandatory banking rails.

Key takeaways for players:
1. All games must run on certified RNGs (Pragmatic, Evolution, Hacksaw, etc.).
2. Withdrawal speed relies mostly on your account verification status (KYC Level 2).
3. Always verify the license badge directly on the official Anjouan board validator before depositing.

I wrote a detailed breakdown on how offshore licenses compare to EU setups if anyone is interested:
https://www.thelux247.com/anjouan-lizenz.html

What are your thoughts on Anjouan vs Curacao casinos lately?

Anjouan has been getting more attention lately, but worth noting the licensing framework there is still fairly new compared to Curacao's established (if imperfect) track record — fewer years of precedent means fewer public dispute resolutions to judge how player complaints actually get handled in practice.

On the RNG certification point — agreed that's the key differentiator, but I'd add: it's worth checking whether the certification applies per-game or platform-wide, since some operators certify a handful of titles and then quietly add uncertified ones later.

Also curious about withdrawal processing times specifically for TRC-20 vs BEP-20 under Anjouan-licensed operators — anyone have direct experience comparing the two?

Here is what you are saying, Anjouan license is a very big help for casino owners. It makes everything much easier for their business.

I am lucky because I didn't have to check this in real life yet, so I don't know exactly. But I really think that this license is very weak for regular players. It does not protect the users and their money well. What I mean is, if you have a problem with casino, their help for players is almost nothing. At least that's what I observed.

Yep. These gaming regulators won't help, and they are pretty clear about it, too.
Here:
The Authority does not handle, mediate, or adjudicate player complaints. Disputes between players and operators are the responsibility of the operator and, where unresolved, of an approved independent ADR provider. The Authority’s role is limited to regulatory oversight — it monitors whether licensed operators comply with their obligations, including their obligation to maintain a functional complaints process.

Players should not contact the Authority to resolve a dispute. The Authority will not correspond with players on the merits of individual complaints.
In short, you are at the mercy of the gaming operator should you have any complaints, concerns, and whatnot.

What are your thoughts on Anjouan vs Curacao casinos lately?
It doesn't really matter which gaming regulator a casino's license would come from, as again, neither of these two would help any player if they have disputes and complaints.
We would like to clarify that the CGA does not handle individual complaints against gaming providers.

Thanks for the solid points and feedback, everyone.

@longyenthanh & @julerz12:
You are spot on regarding player protection and dispute resolution. It's a critical point that many players overlook. Neither Anjouan nor Curacao acts as an ombudsman for individual dispute resolution. Because the regulatory bodies step back, the responsibility shifts entirely to independent ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) services or third-party mediation platforms (like AskGamblers, CasinoGuru, etc.). When choosing an Anjouan-licensed operator, checking if they actively cooperate with recognized dispute resolution platforms is essential.

@DurakCrypto:
To answer your questions:
1. **RNG Certification:** You raised a valid risk. Legitimate operators rely on certified game providers (Pragmatic, Evolution, etc.) where games are hosted on provider servers, meaning the operator can't tamper with the RNG. However, for proprietary / in-house games, players should strictly verify whether the casino provides Provably Fair hash/seed validation.
2. **TRC-20 vs. BEP-20:** In terms of payout processing times, both execution speed and withdrawal approval usually take under 5 minutes on the blockchain side. However, TRC-20 energy/bandwidth fees on Tron have risen recently, making BEP-20 or SOL options significantly cheaper for micro-withdrawals.

I've updated the comparison breakdown on my site with a dedicated section on ADR mechanisms and listed tested withdrawal speeds across networks if you want to check the detailed hands-on test:
https://www.thelux247.com/anjouan-lizenz.html

Curious to hear if anyone here has ever had to go through an official ADR process with an offshore casino before?

But I thought RNG certification was always part of provider requirements anyway, not casino? I mean if casino is offering their own original games ok sure but all of these are copycats of dice anyway,,, provably fair does not need RNG certification, kinda the very definition of provably fair is you yourself as a player can prove randomness?

It means more than nothing for sure,,, but I never trusted RNG certifications anyway. Still do not get why they do not just make everything provably fair.

It's good crypto players now have a better chance to gamble with the Anjouan license in play that has replaced Curacao.
This is is most recent trend and a single Anjouan license covers both sportsbetting, slots, lotteries, live casino with any requirements for sub licenses.
This new license is great for crypto gambling with fast withdrawals and less issues of account freezes because of traditional banking policies but the individual reputation matters too.

Anjuan is the cheapest license a recognised territory offers to casinos at the moment.

After Curacao was pressured to fix this aspect of their offshore business for gambling it became the most popular for crypto casinos.
It offers zero security and the verified RNG thing is nothing because these providers hold their RNG on servers that can be manipulated and nobody can verify that it's actually random or even verifiable in any way.

I just wish they would force provable fairness now that so many casinos depend on them.

I am in the same boat as you. I don't quite understand why all providers simply make all their games 100 percent provably fair, there would be more transparency on this industry and there would be no need for RNG certifications and centralized trust companies and regulators.

If I had to guess on what they don't do it, I assume it is because there are some hidden interests on regulators and the those providers to keep their own monopoly on trust.

Some people don't realize trust itself is an asset and a merchandise. Perhaps regulators do not want part of their job to be taken away from them by the massive implementation of provably fairness in gambling.

It is true that the Anjuan license is faster and avoids complications and strict regulations, but we must ask whether this simplification primarily serves the interests of casino owners (due to its lower costs and faster issuance) or the protection of players?

Even if the casino has obtained a license, players must verify that the licenses are valid and not forged and the withdrawal conditions must be checked, as true reliability lies in the clarity of the withdrawal conditions and terms and the absence of hidden clauses that disable the withdrawal of profits based on verification levels.

I actually think it is even more conspiracy than this, that bookies and providers actually never want people to see if RNG works truly the way it is supposed to be. Also,,, what is stopping software from changing RNG during certification and validation to meet standards, and changing it during periods when nobody is watching. I am 100% sure this happens.

This is just mainly why I do not ever play slots,,, other than I do not find them that fun anyway Smiley

I stay away from any online casino that operates under an Anjouan license. The main problem with Anjouan is just how cheap and easy it is to obtain. Because there is practically zero barrier to entry and minimal regulatory scrutiny compared to traditional jurisdictions, it becomes a magnet for exit scams and shady operators looking for a quick setup. While Curacao isn't as strict as something like the MGA or UKGC, their updated LOK framework at least forces operators to maintain local presence, stricter compliance and real accountability. I’ve personally watched a couple of questionable platforms get stripped of their Curacao license for shady behavior, only to turn around a few weeks later and pop back up with an Anjouan badge just to keep taking player funds.

If a casino is using Anjouan as their primary proof of "legitimacy" that's an immediate red flag for me. I'll personally pass and stick to platforms holding Curacao or higher tier licenses where the operator actually has something to lose if they step out of line.
