Flag support. Feedback given.
I told someone to help me check the Stake campaign spreadsheet, the user is not there. I saw on his profile that he visited the forum last in 2024 which was what I supposed to have checked before checking the spreadsheet. He is not coming back. Sorry about the loan. Many people are taking advantage of your service.

Not another one? Flag supported. I don't understand how anyone could ruin their forum account for 115 USDT, but I think all this members like this should receive signature bans. In case they return in forum they should not be allowed to spam again and join any signature campaigns.

His account was capable of producing way more than 115 usd in a month or something, how the fuck people still manage to default?
I can't come up with an answer that makes sense. It is hard to raise an acc to senior member ever since the introduction of the merit system, even for a seasoned acc farmer I can imagine.
If someone defaults a $115 loan:
1- he is stupid 2- he is leaving the forum, not coming back, so doesn't care
Even these don't make completely sense. I mean someone can be stupid, but not that stupid... It is damn 115 bucks ffs.
But I also see you already tagged this user for defaulting a loan 2+ years ago... (no reference)
Why did you lend him money again?

This user already has negative trust rating from OP since 2024 I wonder why Shasan posted about it again now, also since the account was last active back in 2024. I guess this is just for record keeping or to remind everyone that this user never repaid the loan.

My guess... they are leaving the forum forever, and they are "selling" the account for a $115 loan since directly account sales are heavily frowned upon by the community. It is also possible that the person behind the account that defaulted the loan could be having so many other accounts that he farmed and shading off a few for cash without much effort shouldn't be a problem

Considering the number of defaulters who intentional engaged on exit scam in this manner the moment they wanted to leave the forum, then you will discover that they take loan so as to leave together with such.
Now here's my suggestion to shasan,
No one knows the ground on which this user left the forum, but you have to be careful with members that will wear avatar and signature without confirming if they are really participating in a campaign.
Secondly, I will advise that you include every member taking a loan to have a surety to vouch for him, this will make him responsible over any abscondment or default, I can see this loan defaulting challenge is not good for the service and can bring one down to bankruptcy if it persist in such manner.

Not another one? I got the impression that there are more cases like this. shasan obviously raises the flag only when he loses all hope that the loan will be paid. I don't understand how anyone could ruin their forum account for 115 USDT, but I think all this members like this should receive signature bans. In case they return in forum they should not be allowed to spam again and join any signature campaigns.
If it is about farm accounts, surely the scammer is still there, with other accounts and making money from the signature.

Many a people asked here as well as on the thread of supporting and/or opposing the flag thread. The reason of creating the thread is to know if there is any other alternative accounts on this forum or not. This reason is mentioned of my starting post. There is another reason behind this. Before few days a forum member wanted to know the list of the defaulters I gave him/her the link of my topics. So decided to post all the loan defaulters either they are active or not. Though it will be slowly (time to time).

Nobody is going to do that and it would effectively mean the lenders would go out of business on the forum, i'm sure they don't want that. How do you stand in as surety for someone over the internet and risk your account based on their own actions, doesn't make any sense. I can see this loan defaulting challenge is not good for the service and can bring one down to bankruptcy if it persist in such manner.
That's the risk any lender bears in a no-collateral loan. You lose some and you also gain some, particularly if the interest charged is 'high'. I am sure if they were any close to bankruptcy, they would have stopped borrowing, so it is safe to say that it is still profitable.

Sorry this has happened to you, shasan. I don’t know how you continue to offer loans on this forum, seems like you have so many loan defaulters.
I have left the guilty party negative trust and supported your flag.

Why does the number of defaulters seem to be a lot higher than last year or even months ago though? It seems really dubious.

I feel sorry to say and I am not in the correct position to say but I feel shasan has been more leninent in giving out loans. It is his personal business and I have no right to speak my opinion about it still that is what I feel. A person who has some bad reputation on their account is obviate a future case of bad default. Moreover multiple accounts are owned by many users, they are often being sold away like this once they cannot accumulate merit or get into campaign.

This is a nice discovery. The evidence connecting Udidrone to irsykes and then BitcoinHunt3r to Udidrone raises suspicious, and it makes me feel the loan defaulter could be having more alt accounts lying around. Too bad for him, he decided to default a loan and thought he was not going to be caught I am waiting to see an explanation from both accounts before I can add any tags to them

I was reading this thread when some friends told me and shasan sent a PM, after investigating the case for about 6-7 hours I found a few clues and provided an explanation along with references. The point is I still need to find other evidence as additional references. Summary: I took over this account around October 2020. You might notice a change in the posts. Before October 2020, almost all posts were about altcoins, etc, but starting in October, the posts shifted full to gambling threads so, the connected address out of my control. References https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=515719;sa=showPosts;start=7840Shasan and I are still discussing my responsibilities regarding the connected address. Personally, I am willing to accept any consequences from forum members regarding account buying

Additional Notes: I have tried to contact with the user but not responded till now, Also the user is offline. If anyone can find out the alternative account (if any) that will be appreciate. It seems he has been inactive for more than two years, meaning you have waited a long time. We really can't predict what happened with him; it seems it was a senior member account, and if he were active on the forum, he might have repaid the loan within two weeks. There would some incident, or he left the forum permanently. A non-collateral loan is quite risky nowadays. Users know that they will be tagged if they scam a loan. But still, it's been happening, which isn't a good sign for lenders. Tagged and supported the flags. You should be careful about giving loans without collateral. Although the amount isn't big, the scammer moves away with the funds. Otherwise, he might be seriously injured, or something might happen; without knowing the real situation, we can't say anything clearly. Ping me if he ever repays the loan; I will see if it's possible to remove the feedback.
