These words are absolutely true. From my little knowledge, I understand that the 2026 World Cup has been criticized a lot because FIFA has not been able to properly manage the game. If the rules and regulations of the World Cup are made, each team has to follow them properly. There can be no influence from politicians here. If the rules or the game are managed depending on the answer to Donald Trump words, then it can never be a disciplined game. I completely agree with your opinion concerning this very concluded world cup that, was co hosted by Canada, the united states and Mexico. This world cup was known and will be remembered for all the wrong reasons, there was a lot of political that was mixed up with football which is not good.
Again some persons where picked to win the world cup, even before the start of the world cup and so games where played to favour such teams, it was written all over the tournament which caused many suspicion all over the world. And now we are seeing all manner of allegetion on the President of FIFA.

Don't worry about it, FIFA has already exposed themselves in the past and they will continue to do so in the future, that is the nature of corruption, it never stays hidden forever.

That's right this recently concluded World Cup seems to be a lot different and the fact that a lot of political things were obvious makes people start having different opinions about it. I personally think of this world cup tournament as being biased, the way the referees made it look obvious that they wanted Argentina to go far and win it was bad... Compared to other past World Cups I think in term of performance and officiating this one is really not close to others. If tournaments are officiated to favor a certain country it will definitely raise suspicious and I am surprised of all the allegations on the FIFA president, he was supposed to make everything fair but failed.

A lot of countries complained any time they face Argentina, decisions were always in favor of them. It was very obvious but the Egypt vs Argentina game made it worse and everyone started complaining. I think all World Cup tournaments has been interesting except for this one.

It could be a mess in my life if this happens. I've managed to watch only the third of  2026 World Cup matches live because of the time difference with the country I live in. With  64-team format, I would be able to miss any sleep, so I'd have no choice but to watch only matches starting from the round of 16. The 32-team format is the best one.

The 32 team format and the correct format, where there are qualifiers to get there, and only the best ones get the place to participate, if they switched to doubles it would only be for an economic reason because it wouldn't make sense, but every team from every country would watch the World Cup, effectively increasing the views and money that revolve around it.

The USA has created so many enemies for themself and that was what had to affect the whole ecstacy of the world cup where they were more allotting much attention to security than creating an open atmosphere for fans and officials of the tournament around the world to grace it.

In the manner and approach of the President of the USA in handling the situation it killed the spirit of sportsmanship and unity the sport was supposed to promote. We saw a lot of malpractice with the FIFA judgement even with the incident of Folarin Balogun who was given a red card which means automatic suspension for the next match but we saw how the Trump's effect played out. I have had the experience of watching several football World Cups, but this year's tournament is the most criticized. In many matches, referees have made biased decisions that the audience has seen.
